IPhone :: Unable To Connect To Wifi With 7 Digit Password
Mar 29, 2012
I just bought an Ipad 3 and I tried to connect to wifi at my my house but it won't let me beacuse the password it 7 digits. we tried changing the password to 8 digits so it would register and it still says incorrect password.
I am having a IPHONE 5S. It wifi is getting connected in my home network and other places. Now I moved to the new office . Here other colleagues who are having apple products are able to connect to the network . but my phone is giving message "Â Incorrect Password". The password is correct,
I have a new 5c iPhone but can not connect to my Wi-Fi Home Wireless Network as my new phone does not recognize my password. How can I change the password and move on?
I have been looking all over the web for the 16 digit password for cdma workshop for a Verizon Samsung Tablet, but have had no success. I tried the Samsung Default one, but no luck. It says "the phone does not accept the password".
I'll run through all the information I have and everything I've tried. I have a Verizon IPhone 4S, internationally unlocked, using an international sim card When I first moved to China, everything worked fine. Now that I'm thinking back, I'd say that the first time I noticed problems connecting to wifi was after getting a local 3G sim card for my phone. Since then, I've been able to see wifi networks fine, but get incorrect password everytime I've input them.
I can't connect to wifi that need a password to access, it always says the password is incorrect. I was connected to my home wifi until I reset my network settings like I have read but now I can't get back on to my wifi!
Is there a way to connect my iPhone 4s to my wifi network without the password? This is my home network but unfortunately it was setup years ago and I have no way of getting the password for it. I've been able to connect my laptop to it without the password by pushing the button on the netgear router but it does not work when I try with my phone. My laptop and desktop are both connected and have iTunes so I was hoping I could do it that way but I've had no luck. I've also had no luck resetting the router and I'd rather not buy a new one.
I have an iPhone 4s with 5.1 software and everytime I connect to my WiFi and lock my screen it just disconnects. I've tried restoring it, resetting network settings and rebooting it. How can I fix this?
Suddenly my phone stop connection to a known wifi network and is still impossible to connect even though is loading continuously .....in addition to this safari cannot connect even in 3G .
my phone will not pick up my wireless network. Its unable to locate it. I have restored my network settings, turned my wifi off an on again, turned my phone off and on again but it still will not pick it up.
I am unable to connect to wifi with my iPhone. My computer is connected to the wireless network. I have re-entered password, reset password, unplugged and reset router.
My son's IPhone 4s suddenly loss WiFi connection. Did soft and hard reboot reset internet connection and reset phone but no luck seeing or connecting to WiFi. I even upgraded to iOS 8.1.1 but no luck. In the meantime my cellular data bill is going through the roof. How to fix the iPhone issue? Should I upgrade to a new iPhone?
After updating to IOS 5.1 i am having ptoblems connecting to the WIFI. If I reboot my wireless route it will connect Without the reboot it will just set and search. My wife's phone is running 4.2.1 and connects everytime. Can I back out of the upgrade easily until the problem is fixed? My Data plan minutes are on the rise.....
I have the apple iPhone 4. I recently downloaded the iOS 5 and It says I have hotspot but for some reason it wont work. Even if I directly plug it from my phone to computer. How do I fix it?
When i'm on 3G, I'm unable to connect on a public wifi that uses a pop-up to go trough an internet page to connect.
Normally, a pop-up opens automaticly with the commercial page where I need to click to connect. In fact, this pop-up is appearing but it stays white ... The only way it worked for connecting to wifi is when I turn off the 3G but there is surely a solution !
I am unable to set up a connection on the same wifi and bluetooth between my macbook and iPhone to use the remote function in Keynote.Â
My iPhone doesn't even appear in theRemote menu in Keynote when I try to set up remote access on my iPhone in Keynote. (Both devices are right next to each other). Â
Second, I'm unable to establish a connection between my iPhone and Mac via bluetooth, i get this message. (on the same wifi, device next to each other). At the moment, I understand remote access in keynote between mac and iOS devices are only made available for wifi connection. Though why is it I can't even connect my iPhone to my macbook.Â
I have a new Xperia Ray and I'm trying to access a wifi network. My phone has found the available networks, but when I try to connect to the one I want, it will let me enter a password, but the 'Connect' option remains greyed out. The only option I have is 'Cancel'.Do I need to adjust a setting somewhere to enable me to connect to wifi?
I'm having problem connecting to wifi at home, the phone accepted the wifi password (and remembered), but would not connect. I tried to reboot the phone and my router but still can't connect. However, I can connect to open wifi.
