Motorola Xoom :: 16-digit Serial Number?
Jan 5, 2012don't have it with me, but will tomorrow afternoon. I do however have the WiFi Mac Address, and the back cover protector from when I first bought the Xoom that has three bar codes on it and a couple sets of numbers. I need to get this number fast, but I don't know which one is the actual "serial number". Motorola's Servie and Repair area requires the Mac Address, which I thought was the unique serial number, only problem is it's 12 digits, not 16. I also have the box here too, with the bar codes and numbers on the side as well.Is there anywhere not on the Xoom that has the 16 digit serial number? Or am I to combine some of the strings of number

Feb 26, 2010Well as the title says, I think someone has my exact PIN number. Not the 4 digit security PIN, the "unique" handheld code for BlackBerry's. I found it odd one day when my bbm friends were saying I was asking them "Who are you?".
And when my friends asked who "I" was, he said Thomas, which is not my name! I checked my own PIN, and the PIN of Thomas, it's the same! I never had this problem before. Could it be that just in a billionth of a chance that RIM had made 2 BlackBerry's with the same PIN? his BlackBerry and turns out it's the same as mine.

May 11, 2010Every time I try to call a number (LAN LINE) that has a block on unidentified callers, I get the message "The number you are calling does not accept unidentified calls please enter your 10 digit phone number" The funny thing is that this problem just started to happen. A week ago it was fine. When I do call a number that is not blocked, my number comes up correctly on the caller ID but shows as unidentified. Sometimes, it shows up as international.Now, funny thing is that if I put my SIM in my Pearl, I can make calls no problem. There are two settings on the Bold under general options. One is called "Restrict My Identity" In this case, I have have it set to NEVER. I have also tried NETWORK DETERMINED, but neither of them make difference. The other setting is called "Show My Number" and this is set to YES.I have talked to AT&T until I am blue in the face. They say it is a problem with the phone and that it needs to be replaced. I hardly believe that. I have a friend with the same phone and it has the same problem.I did see some threads on this before in other forums, but never did see an answer to the problem.Finding a solution would be very nice.Already tried doing a factory reset and a security wipe on the phone.

But someone is still in there! However, when I plug the phone to my computer(not a Mac) iTunes recognizes there is a unit there, but says I need to type in the 4-digit passcode on the iPhone to get access to it in iTunes. But the touch-screen is still broken, so I can't type in anything. Any solution? Can I type in the code or apple-password somewhere else?

Jan 12, 2012I have a Sony Xperia Z3 on the T-Mobile network and as of two months ago now, I have been unable to call or text my girlfriend. She has an iPhone 5 also on the T-Mobile network.
When the problem began, we had been texting for half of the day and she suddenly stopped receiving my texts.
Now the texts show as delivered on my end, but she never gets them and when I try calling it goes straight to voice-mail. She can receive texts and calls from everyone else, while I can also text and call anyone besides her.
We went through both our phones and I'm most definitely not on her blocked list. Tried restarting and re-adding each others numbers but nothing happens.

For my client visits, I alway put the complete address and contact info in the subject of the agenda item. When I have some traffic problems and will be later then forseen, I can contact my client directly from the tel number in that agenda subject, without havng to put in the number again. Also from text messages. Whan someone speeeks a message into my voicemail, I receive a text message from my provider with a short phonenumber to listen to the message directly. I have now an iphone, but it doesn't recognise the number in the agenda or sms as a phone number, and I can't mark them. Is this an option that has to be set on or so? Or is it just not integrated in the OS? Would be handy, I had it in all my other phones, Nokia, HTC,...

Sep 6, 2014I'm having a problem accepting text messages directly to my number from another iPhone. I'm on a family plan and all 3 phones are iPhone 5. This morning my mother in law was texting my wife and I (group message), but I never received anything. When I looked on my wife's iPhone I saw my number was there correctly. My mother in law can only send me messages if she sends them to my Apple ID.Â
I checked my message settings > send receive and both my number and Apple ID are checked. i Don't have any trouble sending or receiving messages from non iphones.
