I got this phone back with a password enabled, the person who set the password can't recall it. Can I reset the password without losing everything on the phone? It is not currently hooked up with a Sim card because we have been using it for testing.
View 1 RepliesDoes anybody know if the touch screen on the ES400 can activated/deactivated whilst making calls?The problem is, that as the hangup or mute are availabe functions for use, when you are on a call and have the device pressed against your ear/cheek you can either put the phone on mute, or even cut the caller off completely. It would need to be a function to switch on and off, as you may need to use the screen to turn hands free on etc.

Recently my email server changed its settings and in order to do the same in the 9900 I went to email settings and was asked for my BB id and password. I had forgotten pw so clicked on 'forgot pw' and the usual pw hint question came up. However the pw I entered did not work - I was given 9 more chances and couldn't get the right pw. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded the newest OS for my Bold. I had to delete an app for an alarm because it had stopped working. So, I thought I'd just go and re-download it. BUT, I need to enter my email and Blackberry ID Password to download it. I can't figure out what password I used so I tried to reset it. I can't get it to reset on my phone or on a desktop computer. When I tried doing it from a computer, it said it would email me so I could reset my password but I never got an email (tried this a few times). And when I do it on my phone the page either goes nowhere or it gives me an error on the page.
