Motorola Xoom :: Wifi Stuck At Dual Core Screen?
Jan 15, 2012was stock 3.2 and today when i turned it on i was stuck at DC screen. Found stock img on moto dev site. Flashed stock 3.0 and that booted up fine, thought i was safe, went to do auto update to 3.1 . Download and install went fine, when it rebooted it would not boot up again. I'm back stuck at the dual.core logo

Jan 23, 2012i have had my Xoom since it first came out and think that it is still one of the best tablets out there. Unfortunately lately I have been noticing that when I go to power it on that it will occassionally freeze on the "dual core" screen. It's not every time but more than I like.

Oct 30, 2011I have an ATRIX 4G upgraded to Gingerbread. Today, out of the blue, all my contacts suddenly got deleted. I syned my contacts with my gmail account but all the contacts with phone numbers are gone. I only have email ids. I did not have a SD card till some days back so I am assuming my contacts were stored on the phone's internal memory/SIM card. I tried to import contacts from my SIM card but it did not have any contacts stored.
Is there any way I can recover those contacts? I tried changing the display setting in contacts but to no avail. I hope someone can help. I had some important numbers in the list which will be difficult to reaquire.

May 5, 2011Anyone having issues with wifi disconnecting after the screen switches off for a bit ( I have the wifi sleep policy set to 'never' ), and waking up the phone - it lags quite a bit?

Sep 27, 2011My phone has been stuck in reboot loop for the last 2 days. I had powered it off on the plane and when i turn on...it keeps rebooting itself after the "Rethink Possible" screen ends. I let the battery drain and still after charging it keeps on rebooting. I am running the phone on "Safe Mode" and only able to run basic Android apps like Gmail, Phone, Gtalk, Camera, etc. All 3rd party apps in Safe mode do not work.

"AT&T US HSDPA" is selected. anyone having this problem? my speeds used to be about 2500kbps - 3300kbs now im at 60kbs. apparently 4.1.83 increases speed for others by slowing mine down.

E.g. lowering the volume does not actually decrease the volume until you get down to muting the device (which does still work). There are no problems when listening through the headphone out, but I don't wish to negate the functionality of the rather expensive Motorola Cardock.This is a major inconvenience as it generally causes an ugly distortion and could damage my car speakers.

May 4, 2011My phone prompted me to upgrade to 4.1.83 and when I said ok, there is a notification icon saying "Download will start when connected to a WiFi network". So I connected to a WiFi network, the download did not start. Gave it some time, switched WiFi on and off a couple of times, powered off/on the phone a couple of times, still do not see it starting to download. I also tried to download some apps from android market place (on wifi) works fine, but the software update never starts. Or Is there a way to manually get the 4.1.83 update to update from 4.1.57 and load it to the phone?

My player got stuck with shuffle enabled and hitting the shuffle button would shuffle the play queue and there was no longer anyway to disable shuffle. After reboot, it fixed itself but the shuffle button still shuffled the play queue. That said, I like the change. The shuffle function had an amazing number of repeat songs. Now you can go through a whole playlist without getting a repeat.

Motorola :: Q Dual USB Car Charger?
Feb 24, 2010I am looking for a Dual USB car charger that will work with my motorola phones. I want a charger that will charger both of my parents phones (Moto Q and a Razr) so that they dont have to carry 2 chargers. All of our phones are usb B and I have lots of data cables but I cannot find a charger that will charge them. I have a Q9c and mine shows unaauthorized charger when plugged into a car driven usb port. In the PC they all charge just fine.Does anyone know of a good charger that will charge these phones?? I am assuming that it is the same problem that iPhone users have but I am not sure, and I am sick of buying USB chargers that dont work.

When i look it says the the prefered version is the lower one. Is there any way of removing this box?
