Since apple didn't bring anything new to the table with 4.0, that the other "phones" don't already have; They better throw a dual core in the new iPhone to get ahead of the competition.
i have had my Xoom since it first came out and think that it is still one of the best tablets out there. Unfortunately lately I have been noticing that when I go to power it on that it will occassionally freeze on the "dual core" screen. It's not every time but more than I like.
was stock 3.2 and today when i turned it on i was stuck at DC screen. Found stock img on moto dev site. Flashed stock 3.0 and that booted up fine, thought i was safe, went to do auto update to 3.1 . Download and install went fine, when it rebooted it would not boot up again. I'm back stuck at the dual.core logo
i have a blackberry torch 9860 the phone restarted by itself and didnt go in stuck i tried to install new os from desktop manager it finished and on the restart process did the same any advice how can i fix it
I just bought my Sony Ericsson Elm (J10i) phone last 2 weeks. I got a problem with this phone. When i put it in my pocket, and after a while i take it out and i found that my phone is switched off. When i tried to switch it on again, it didn't work. I have to connect it to the charger then it can switch on again. And after it can be switched on, i have to reset all my time and date again. This happened almost like every single time i put it in my pocket. Did i press the reset button or i don't know. Please help me. It's really annoying. One thing im confused is that why do i have to connect to the charger to turned it on after it turned off by itself. If i turn the phone off manually, i can turn it back on but not when i put the phone in my pocket.
ive had the s2 now for a day and a half and when i transfered my sim card into my phone it didnt contain any numbers so im prepared to manually enter them all. however with adding my email accounts and facebook alot of my contacts have appeared but i dont want them all. ive got it to only show contacts added to my phone so i have three entries in yhe phonebook but texts and calls are picking up the names from my syncd contactsif i remove the accounts from contacts settings accounts , does this delete all the details from yhese accounts so will my email contacts be syncd and removed from my address books on my email account
when I got the first lollipop Update I had an option to disable the lock screen completely on my z3 compact, ever since this recent update to fix the bugs in lollipops it only gives me the option to set a slide lock screen or PIN or password but not completely disable it so if I try to use any third party lock screen I have to first unlock the Sony one before it will go to that one.
my other issue is with the throw, screen mirroring s only once since I've had this phone have I been able to scan and have devices come up I have a smart TV and that came up but everytime I try to do it now it just says no devices found every single time
Does anyone know if there's an app that can bring up an actualy dialpad when starting a new message? It would be handy for numbers I don't have in my contacts. JB or not, doesn't matter. Edit: Sorry I misspoke, it's for typing in the recipient's number. It's quicker for me to dial on a keypad than it is to dial the numbers on the keyboard.
My wife & I have iPhone 4S, recently we both set passcode on our iPhones, my phone shows camera short cut on locked screen whereas my wife's does not has camera shortcut. How to bring camera short cut on locked screen.
I've got several friends in Japan with iPhone 4s and I was wondering if I can do some FaceTime with them. I know it uses WiFi but will dialing a foreign number bring extra charges? Thanks!
I have just deleted an email account on my iphone and it has deleted half my contacts as well. How do i retrieve the contacts or bring back the mail account??
I have the torch 9800 and whenever I connect it to my computer and use the blackberry software to backup everything and update my apps it always says I need to update the core applications so I just do what it says to do, anyways I'm just wondering if that's normal to have to update the core applications every time I connect it, or is that not normal.
If this is what they say it is I think have solved many problems concerning Cutting any SIM into MicroSIM before using with iPhone, They claimed you can use normal SIM with iPhone 4 and also can use MicroSIM or use both at same time... Very interesting indeed.. comes in 7 different color Cases.
I just bought a portable GPS pod from Dual. It pairs well and appears to work fine with my iPad, but not only can I not pair it with my iPhone 4S, once I try, it disappears from the list of devices until I reboot my iPhone.
After doing the 9700 OS upgrade ever time i sync the phone it tells me there is a core update to v 5.0.0 but the version i have seems to be higher than this. When i look it says the the prefered version is the lower one. Is there any way of removing this box? I read in a thread that you can delete the version from your PC but i dont know what or where to look.
I am unable to download the 6.0.0 Core application. The Blackberry Desktop states my phone is up-to-date. But in the application section it says I need to update my Core Application.
using the desktop manager for Mac, i updated my Bold 9000 from device software 4.6 to 5.0.it said the software had installed successfully - but now MemoPad, Calendar, Tasks, Files, Ringtones, the Pictures folder, Voice Notes, Videos all fail to load.they all produce an error message that begins 'Error starting net_rim_bb... ... not found.' oh, and when i try to use the camera, it hangs the device
Just got my new S5 few days ago, SM-G900F.No issues till now, working perfectly. my concern is about cpu-z results.it keeps saying 2 of my cores are not working (Stopped).actually it work for a 2 sec when am launching cpu-z then its stopped.is it a bug, something should i be worry about? or thats the way the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 works (i mean a sleep mode to save battery life)?
I would like to have 2 SIM cards in my iPhone. I have read some forums that recommend Simore double SIM cards...but i am unsure about the major inconvinients.Does it mean i need to jailbreak my iPhone? Is it working well.Anyone could share his opinion, thoughts and recommendations?
I've seen a few dual SIM adapters available whereby one's usual micro-SIM remains inside the iPhone and an external second SIM is connected via a thin ribbon cable; it is then possible to switch between the two SIMs using menus within the iPhone.
When swapping SIMs manually, i.e. ejecting one SIM and inserting another, iMessage is reactivated by sending an SMS to +44 7537 4102X1 (where X can be any digit from 0 to 9). Given that one typically swaps SIMs when roaming, it can become expensive to swap SIMs frequently. Can anyone confirm whether iMessage remains active when swapping SIMs via the iPhone menus? I'm also wondering whether perhaps iMessage even remains active on both numbers simultaneously, even though standard SMS obviously would not do so.
So I am hoping to catch on as time goes by. As like many people, this is my first smart phone and it's all so new. LOL I do have an ipod touch, but they are very different set up wise, but at least I'm not completely void of technology. I have had it for only a few days and am pleasantly surprised with how easy it is to understand the "basics," like changing themes, ringtones, setting up email, downloading apps, hiding apps, moving items around the menu, making a call, browsing the web (although I get very annoyed with this as my ipod touch is SO fast- oh well), syncing to my contacts, using the camera, saving pics, playing music etc... For a newb like me, I'm happy to be able to all that! I am very happy with this Curve as my introduction to the BB world! HOWEVER- being this is more machine on a phone than I am used to, I am bit concerned with keeping it uncluttered, maintenance (IE breaking it), etc...
I have the standard 2GB micro sd card that came with it from sprint, but I have a brand new 16GB micro SHDC card I want to put in. I know where it goes, I know I have to remove the battery, etc.My question is: "DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO THE PHONE TO PREP IT FOR THIS?" I have looked through the web and found various answers, have learned quickly that Crackberry is the most knowledgeable and the nicest! I have downloaded a few ringtones, but I don't get where they are being stored and how to find out where they are being stored (same goes with themes, pics and wallpapers). I assume they go to my built in phone memory and not my sd card?
Also- since being a mac user, there is not too much I need to do maintenance wise (I have programs that clean up and free space for me, etc.), nor do I have to turn it off often. However, are there certain things I should be doing to this Curve on a daily/weekly basis? I know to close all apps when not using them, as to not drain the battery, and to not have wifi on when not needed, etc... but do I need to shut it off? Am I making sense here? Well, thanks so much you guys are great and fast! I would appreciate a link (if this has already been answered- sorry ) or just a simple answer! I usually ask my husband about this stuff, but I seem to understand more than him! LOL
