I've had the Motorola Atrix for a few days now and I've found out that when I compose an email or try to reply one using the default app it gets stuck in the Outbox folder. I didn't experience this bug with Gmail.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhenever I send photo's via Gmail they sit in the outbox forever. I have to kill the Gallery or the Media Storage service and then the photo will go. Regular emails go fine. I have tried resetting all the cache on each of the applications and still nothing. I also reformatted my storage and still the same problem.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S2 in and exchange 2010 server organisation. All syncing works great contacts tasks calender etc.When configuring i received a mail saying i could send sms messages from my outlook client on my desktop.
All my sms's I receive on my phone show in the inbox of my outlook, (So that part works).When trying to send an SMS from my outlook(Desktop PC) it gets to my galaxy s2, in the mail outbox but doesnt send.why is the text message in outbox on phone and not messaging outbox?If i go into the mail outbox on the phone and try to send it manually it still doesn't send.not sure where to look to solve the issue. (Phone settings or exchange settings)?
E72 working with IMAP server.I can see my inbox properly and it synchs fine. The issue is that whenever I try to send a mail (even a simple text one) it gets stacked in the outbox, without any error, it just doesn't send no matter how many time I select "send receive now".

The problem is when I send an email it goes into the Outbox folder and doesn't send. When I select Send/Recieve it doesn't send it and it just stays in the folder.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been using my N8 with my virgin mail account happily for about a year. Recently I've found that outgoing messages are getting stuck in the outbox. They sometimes send (several days later) after I have restarted my phone. I thought I would try removing the mail box and starting again, after a couple of attempts the mail box was removed, but when I tried to set it up again.
It seemed to hang in the middle of the task and I ended up with a mail box with a string of hexadecimal numbers as the mailbox name. Now I cannot remove it : whenever I try to remove it, I get as far as 'removing mailbox' and then it just hangs there (have left it overnight). Possibly related, I have had a couple of messages recently about phone memory being full, but if i look at it through file manager it has 116MB free, and nothing in there which looks like it could obviously be removed.

One is a GMail account configured in the "GMail" App. The other is a Time Warner Road Runner account configured in the "EMail" App.The GMail account works fine. I can send and receive e-mail over 3G/4G and WiFi.However, the Road Runner account will not send e-mail when connected via 3G/4G. I can receive e-mailjust fine and I can send and receive just fine when connected via WiFi.When I try to send an e-mail over 3G/4G, I get a notification that says "Road Runner message not sent. Tap to view message."

When I compose a mail and try to send it it just stays in outbox. I have set the mailbox settings correctly. While my gmail account works fine to send mails. Mails are sent instantly. Is anyone else going thru this trouble? And I Cant set up the Ovi mail mailbox. It keeps telling me "unable to sign in"

It was displaying "cannot get mail" and couldn't connect to the server, even after I updated my password on the phone. It seemed like it was reverting to my old password, even after I successfully changed it.Â
I switched to trying to access Yahoo through Mail - Other and it worked. I can receive my e-mails, but now it is not letting me send outgoing mails. It says "doesn't accept relays".

My very small company uses Exchange Server 2003 to host our own email. On my laptop, I use Outlook. When I'm out of the office I connect my laptop to the internet and access my exchange mail via an IMAP account. With that connection, I can send mail using the SMTP server. I got my new Atrix 2 and set up that account using the advanced settings that were the closest to the settings I use for the IMAP account in my Outlook setup. I was immediately able to see my inbox and receive email. After one tweak (that I can't remember any more), I was able to sent mail. Then a few hours later, I couldn't. I've tried every possible combination of the Advanced Settings in the Account Setup screens on the phone. Nothing works. I tried a Master Reset and all that accomplished was flushing away the contact list that the salesperson had copied to my new Atrix from my old phone when I bought it. I thought that was backed up to Google and would be restored when I logged back in but apparently not. Any advice on how to get that back? But the main problem is sending mail.

When I try to send from Outbox, I get a "connection Error" message. I've removed the battery and gave it a rest and put it back in, no better. I uninstalled and reinstalled AOL mail.

It states "email cannot be openned it is currently being sent."I get errors every minute that says "X" emails cannot be sent. Where X is the number I tried to send while out of service area.The error it says is connection error. I am the exchange server admin, and all the settings are correct. If I go back in and try to re-enter the settings, it doesn't fix it. I am forced to delete and re-enter the account with the same settings. I have had to do this 4 times now (I have had the phone since Sep. 13th). I have 23 other phones currently running on the server, and I personally have had 2 others (HTC Evo Shift and Palm Pre) that did not have this issue.

If I try to forward an email with an attachment from my phone, the message sends but is hung up in the outbox and I receive message failed retry.The phone continues to resend(successfully) every ~3 minutes and continues to disply message failed to send notification in the notification bar.
There is no way to delete the message from outbox (i try and says can't be deleted while sending) or otherwise stop this retry function.I have now send 20+ large emails to 2 different people.The only way I have found to fix is to delete the account and setup again.
When I compose and send a mail, it gets placed in Outbox and I get a prompt stating something like "relating the message is not supported". Even if I compose a newest age, it says the vey same thing. I just cannot send any response through my mail account.

Basically, if I create a new message it will send from my WiFi only Xoom via my Exchange account. However, if I reply to a message it just sits in the Outbox forever.
POP3 is fine.
It was fine before I upgraded to 3.1, and my HTC Desire running 2.2 works fine too.
I have restored my blackberry 9900 bold backup last night and sincd then i am unable to use my yahoo account on bb, i can receive the emails but cant reply it .... when i try to reply a new window open but on blackberry menu there is no option of send.... and its only happening in Yahoo.... I can use my gmail account and Mail Xchange accounts but the problem is only with yahoo.

Have registered my blackberry device Have Deleted and Sent Service Book Have received the emails that your account has been activated and you will begin to receive emails in next 20mins. I noticed that I had not been receiving my yahoo mail lately and went to accounts and it showed under my Motoblur accounts. After not being able to get it to work I deleted the account to try and reinstall it. When I go to Add Account and select the Yahoo Mail icon under Motoblur accts then put in the email address and password I get an error msg "Login to the account failed, please try again." I have checked and rechecked that all of the info is correct and it is.

I am not sure how to trouble shoot this problem, the yahoo notification is checked off but doesn't seem to fix much. Anyone using the yahoo mail app have this problem? The only issue I have now is a new one - I cannot add my Yahoo! Mail account back onto my phone. I am able to log into it via the web on both my phone and PC. I can login using the Yahoo! Mail App (which i really don't like). But I cannot add it using the "Accounts" options built into the phone.People have said that maybe it's Yahoo! thinking the account was hacked... so I've changed my password twice. I've done battery pulls before trying to re-add the account. I've tried everything I can think of short of doing either another factory reset or having verizon provide me with another new phone (actually they are sending me certified-preowned after they took my brand new Droid Pro and I later found out that wasn't necessary and I've had more issues with this phone than my original)

I guess my question would be is there a problem with yahoo servers or is motorola and yahoo just not playing nice? I keep getting emails in triplicate and Im not sure what causes it. Some days it will work just fine and I'll get my email correctly and other times I wake up with like 30 emails but there will be just repeat messages in triplicate.
