i m using Nokia 5530 for last 3 months, since yesterday i am unable to send messages as they are stuck in outbox with update"Resend at (say) 9:23" , i have done soft reset of mobile but the prob is not fixed as yet. i have checked with service provider and also my sim on other cell, it works fine over there, when i insert another sim in my cell, the problem persists/

I have been using Nokia 5530 XpressMusic for more than a month now, but from 3-4 days I am unable to send any messages because "the message" simply stays in the outbox.Hard Reset (*#7730*) solved my problem, but only for an hour or so.. I checked out the forum and saw that other users of Nokia 5530 XpressMusic are facing the same problem and the solutions given there are not working out for me.I would really love it if people at Nokia will fix this bug ASAP.and I would really love to read the solution if anyone else was able to solve this problem on their phone.. because Hard Reset deletes everything on my phone, my contacts, my applications etc.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI've been using my N8 with my virgin mail account happily for about a year. Recently I've found that outgoing messages are getting stuck in the outbox. They sometimes send (several days later) after I have restarted my phone. I thought I would try removing the mail box and starting again, after a couple of attempts the mail box was removed, but when I tried to set it up again.
It seemed to hang in the middle of the task and I ended up with a mail box with a string of hexadecimal numbers as the mailbox name. Now I cannot remove it : whenever I try to remove it, I get as far as 'removing mailbox' and then it just hangs there (have left it overnight). Possibly related, I have had a couple of messages recently about phone memory being full, but if i look at it through file manager it has 116MB free, and nothing in there which looks like it could obviously be removed.
I've had the Motorola Atrix for a few days now and I've found out that when I compose an email or try to reply one using the default app it gets stuck in the Outbox folder. I didn't experience this bug with Gmail.

All my sms's I receive on my phone show in the inbox of my outlook, (So that part works).When trying to send an SMS from my outlook(Desktop PC) it gets to my galaxy s2, in the mail outbox but doesnt send.why is the text message in outbox on phone and not messaging outbox?If i go into the mail outbox on the phone and try to send it manually it still doesn't send.not sure where to look to solve the issue. (Phone settings or exchange settings)?
Quick question I have a nokia N95 phone but it wont let me send messages it puts them in the outbox, says a resend time then says failed and comes up with un able to send... When I press details it says "General: memory full. Close some applications and try again".... I have no applications

I have turned it off And on, re installed message settings, deleted stuff, even reinstalled factory settings and its still not working id much appreciate some help. I just bought a N8 and have a little problem with a message. As I did not have a proper connection when I sent it the message went to the outbox. Now its stuck there.Its not sent and I can't delete it. In 'Google' I was reading that older Nokia phones had also this problem. But the N8 is brand new, so how can this happen ? Will Nokia make an update any time soon or have you folks an other solution for me ?

The issue is that whenever I try to send a mail (even a simple text one) it gets stacked in the outbox, without any error, it just doesn't send no matter how many time I select "send receive now".

The problem is when I send an email it goes into the Outbox folder and doesn't send. When I select Send/Recieve it doesn't send it and it just stays in the folder.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 5530 XpressMusic that is 3 months old And I've had no problems with it until recently.It has come to my attention that When I send smiley faces or winks such as ^___^ or ^___~, the ^ and ~ signs do not show up to whomever i send the text message to and only the underscore ___ is seen by the reciever. In my inbox it shows those symbols but in the reciever's inbox it's just an underscore. I'm not sure if that happens to other characters since i mainly use those two.I update the software/firmware (I'm not familiar with the terminology) frequently. So I'm not sure if this problem is just the phone that I recieved or if not all phones could recieve the ^ /~ sign (i doubt it though).
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy E72-1 just developed this annoying and hard-to-fix problem: It can't send SMS messages anymore. I hadn't noticed it at first, was wondering why the persons I sent messages didn't replied when I responded to their messages. Then happened to check my phones Outbox, and 6 text messages are stuck in there for several hours already. Just to test the phone further (to check if it might be a SIM card problem), I put this SIM card on another phone, and I was able to send messages on that phone. I also placed another SIM card on the E72 and tested sending a message -- the message sending gets stuck at the Outbox and never sends. Receiving SMS messages appears to work fine. Also, calling out (voice calls) and receiving calls work. other notes: in settings: "Phone Memory" (instead of memory card) is used for text messages, configured to have up to 999 messages. Currently, have around 600 SMS messages in the Inbox and maybe 150 text messages in the Sent folder. Let's says that's only around 800 messages (not yet 999 messages).
What I tried: I changed the setting from "phone memory" to "memory card", but still unable to send messages. (I reverted it back to phone memory since that's where my messages are residing.) I did a soft reset *#7780# which reset the E72's settings. Tried again to send SMS message -- it still fails. I decided to do a hard reset, so I did a full backup using Ovi Suite first. Then I did the hard reset *#7370# -- and it did solve the problem (able to send messages again), unfortunately, I would need to reinstall all the applications, contacts and restore the messages I saved. I tried restoring the backup (it was pretty big at 2.3Gb), but it's taking a very very long time (nearly an hour) and it seems to fail near the end of the restoration. The backing up of the phone took awhile (maybe 20 minutes or so) since it backedup probably the whole memory card too. (I should probably have deleted a few unneeded big files from the memory card before I did the backup since it appears that Ovi Suite is also backing up those big files).Right now, I'm doing the restoration a second time (a few hours since I first tried that and it sort of failed). During the restoration which ended with failure, it seems that when I tried sending SMS messages, it fails again. (ie. if I restore the backup, the problem is also restored) -- I'll check this again later if this is indeed the case. I still had around 130Mb free space left in the C: phone memory and the 4Gb microSDHD memory card had around 900Mb free space when I started the backing up in the first place. (mentioning these in case these might be related to the problem.)any idea what's causing the unable to send SMS message problem? another thing: does restoring backups really take an extremely long time? (I haven't tried the restoration function before, though I did a backup maybe 2 months ago) Does the phone get in a sort of "stuck" or "hanging" mode during the latter part of the restoration procedure?
I cant send text messages - although I can receive them - can someone please help me in setting this up in my phone.it has to be in the settings somewhere.

View 7 Replies View RelatedToday my nokia e63 ran out of battery charge and as I was in town there was no way I could charge it. As I got home put my phone on charge and turned it back on, after a few minutes I decided I would send a text until I realized my phone would not let me do so. I had full signal and have tried to send a text in multiple areas around the house where I have signal. My girlfriend is on the same network as me and is having no problems at all. This all happened after my phone ran out of charge, is this a known issue? Does anybody know what might be going wrong with it?

I'm unable to send multimedia messages and have been unable to register it on My Nokia as the IMEI is unrecognised. I've checked the SIM card being used in another phone and there are no problems.

View 3 Replies View Related1) When sending text messages the messages go through but some remain in the outbox. They are actually sent, and not waiting for resend. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
Brand new E7 with all updates done and running Belle. Phone works great with very little issues. Emails work fine. Calls and everything work fine. But sometimes SMS get stuck in outbox as deferred and does not send them even after the time to resend hits. This happens about 3 to 4 out of 10 messages. If it deferred and then actually sends the message when its suppose to, I wouldn't care so much. I've yet to have a deferred message sent yet I can click on it and press send and it goes.

I tried to forward an email that had a big attachement and now it's stuck in my outbox mail. How can i get it out of the outbox. I can't select "edit". I have turned off the email account, that didn't work. I have also turned off my phone to no avail.

I recently had to change my AOL password. My Droid 2 hasn't sent any emails since then! They are all stuck in my Outbox. When I try to send from Outbox, I get a "connection Error" message. I've removed the battery and gave it a rest and put it back in, no better. I uninstalled and reinstalled AOL mail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I send an email (exchange) from an area with marginal service, the email will get stuck in the outbox.It will not send when I enter an area with "good service." e.g. my house with wifi, or anywhere in town with good 3G.I cannot delete the emails from the outbox. It states "email cannot be openned it is currently being sent."I get errors every minute that says "X" emails cannot be sent. Where X is the number I tried to send while out of service area.The error it says is connection error. I am the exchange server admin, and all the settings are correct. If I go back in and try to re-enter the settings, it doesn't fix it. I am forced to delete and re-enter the account with the same settings. I have had to do this 4 times now (I have had the phone since Sep. 13th). I have 23 other phones currently running on the server, and I personally have had 2 others (HTC Evo Shift and Palm Pre) that did not have this issue.
