I recently had to change my AOL password. My Droid 2 hasn't sent any emails since then! They are all stuck in my Outbox. When I try to send from Outbox, I get a "connection Error" message. I've removed the battery and gave it a rest and put it back in, no better. I uninstalled and reinstalled AOL mail.
I've searched here and not seen anyone else with the same problem, but Google is full of them.
Basically, if I create a new message it will send from my WiFi only Xoom via my Exchange account. However, if I reply to a message it just sits in the Outbox forever.
POP3 is fine.
It was fine before I upgraded to 3.1, and my HTC Desire running 2.2 works fine too.
My email is set up correctly. The message will sit in the outbox until I remove the battery and reinstall. Once this is done it sends without issue. Running 4.5.605.
I just discoved the email client in my X6, it has a "@" symbol. I was quite happy about it since my work place has hotmail blocked and I can now check my hotmail via the phone, but.... after few days I found out all my outgoing emails are all stucked in the outbox, I tried "Send and Receive" but they still stuck there, can anyone know how to solve this problem?
I HAVE AN EMAIL MESSAGE WITH ATTACHMENTS THAT HAS BEEN HUNG UP IN MY OUTBOX FOR 2 DAYS. I WANT TO DELETE IT B/C IT'S CRUSHING MY BATTERY LIFE. HOW DO I DO SO.SHOULD I DO A RESTORE OR DELETE THE MAIL BOX AND RE-ENTER IT?
I tried to forward an email that had a big attachement and now it's stuck in my outbox mail. How can i get it out of the outbox. I can't select "edit". I have turned off the email account, that didn't work. I have also turned off my phone to no avail.
I can't read the email nor does it ever seem to send.Error when attempting to read "stuck" email message = "unable to open when sending".
Former Psion 3a-5-5mx & Psion netbook (Symbian) user who had an E63, E71Now an E7 casualty remembering the 8 replacement Nokia Orange (or was that Lemon?) 2140's I had in 1996...
A large email with several documents is stuck in my outbox, it tries to send each time I open mail but it's been in there for over a week and is clearly to big to make it through. I want to delete it from my outbox, how can I do this?
If I send an email (exchange) from an area with marginal service, the email will get stuck in the outbox. It will not send when I enter an area with "good service." e.g. my house with wifi, or anywhere in town with good 3G.I cannot delete the emails from the outbox. It states "email cannot be openned it is currently being sent."I get errors every minute that says "X" emails cannot be sent. Where X is the number I tried to send while out of service area. The error it says is connection error. I am the exchange server admin, and all the settings are correct. If I go back in and try to re-enter the settings, it doesn't fix it. I am forced to delete and re-enter the account with the same settings. I have had to do this 4 times now (I have had the phone since Sep. 13th). I have 23 other phones currently running on the server, and I personally have had 2 others (HTC Evo Shift and Palm Pre) that did not have this issue.
I've had the Motorola Atrix for a few days now and I've found out that when I compose an email or try to reply one using the default app it gets stuck in the Outbox folder. I didn't experience this bug with Gmail.
Brand new E7 with all updates done and running Belle. Phone works great with very little issues. Emails work fine. Calls and everything work fine. But sometimes SMS get stuck in outbox as deferred and does not send them even after the time to resend hits. This happens about 3 to 4 out of 10 messages. If it deferred and then actually sends the message when its suppose to, I wouldn't care so much. I've yet to have a deferred message sent yet I can click on it and press send and it goes.
I got an X10 and its all interresting and exciting: Next to the little flaws (like sorting contacts not by surname) I am happy with it. But there is this odd problem. If I send a mail from my GMail it looks like stuck in the outbox, allthough it gets sent.
I just bought a N8 and have a little problem with a message. As I did not have a proper connection when I sent it the message went to the outbox. Now its stuck there. Its not sent and I can't delete it. In 'Google' I was reading that older Nokia phones had also this problem. But the N8 is brand new, so how can this happen ? Will Nokia make an update any time soon or have you folks an other solution for me ?
i m using Nokia 5530 for last 3 months, since yesterday i am unable to send messages as they are stuck in outbox with update"Resend at (say) 9:23" , i have done soft reset of mobile but the prob is not fixed as yet. i have checked with service provider and also my sim on other cell, it works fine over there, when i insert another sim in my cell, the problem persists/
I have a Galaxy S2 in and exchange 2010 server organisation. All syncing works great contacts tasks calender etc. When configuring i received a mail saying i could send sms messages from my outlook client on my desktop.
All my sms's I receive on my phone show in the inbox of my outlook, (So that part works). When trying to send an SMS from my outlook(Desktop PC) it gets to my galaxy s2, in the mail outbox but doesnt send.why is the text message in outbox on phone and not messaging outbox? If i go into the mail outbox on the phone and try to send it manually it still doesn't send.not sure where to look to solve the issue. (Phone settings or exchange settings)?
I've been using my N8 with my virgin mail account happily for about a year. Recently I've found that outgoing messages are getting stuck in the outbox. They sometimes send (several days later) after I have restarted my phone. I thought I would try removing the mail box and starting again, after a couple of attempts the mail box was removed, but when I tried to set it up again.
It seemed to hang in the middle of the task and I ended up with a mail box with a string of hexadecimal numbers as the mailbox name. Now I cannot remove it : whenever I try to remove it, I get as far as 'removing mailbox' and then it just hangs there (have left it overnight). Possibly related, I have had a couple of messages recently about phone memory being full, but if i look at it through file manager it has 116MB free, and nothing in there which looks like it could obviously be removed.
In an iphone, with emails, whats the diffference between the Outbox and the Sent folder? Sometimes when I send an email it will go to the Sent folder, but sometimes it go to the Outbox one, and will stay there permanently.
sometimes when i need to delete a letter or two on a misspelled word the delete key gets stuck and deletes all the way through the previous text. If I hit the space bar in time i get to save some of my typing,
had a slight moment where wifi had shut off.. but it fully downloaded.. pressed install.. and it installed.. (i think) but it booted up to the bootloader screen.. says:err: A5,69,25,00,27battery OKOK to programconnect USBData Cable
This happened a short time ago. The notification for my voice mail popped up after a call. I listened, deleted the message and the notification will not go away. I have cleared out all of my saved messages and rebooted twice and it's still there. How to clear this?
Greetings, my phone recently froze on me, and I couldn't even reboot by holding down the power button. Instead I opted to reboot via the Power Button + Volume Down method. This forced it to shut down, but upon rebooting, the phone is now in a loop. It shows the Droid at launch, then makes it to the red eye, but after sitting on the red eye a moment, it freezes, then restarts the cycle again.
Things I have tried:
Forcing another reboot via Power + Volume Down Going into the Boot Mode Selection to use Normal Power Up Going to BMS and trying Recovery (Wiped data/factory reset) Attempted to enter Safe Mode (Didn't seem to work, cycled again at eye) Fastboot Lastly, tried launching to Tools in BMS. Same as above.
At this point I am at a loss as to what to do. I would like to not have to send this out, and to fix it here, but is it comes to that, I guess I'll take it to Verizon and see about getting it shipped out, and getting a replacement.
Oh, also this is a stock phone, the only "modifications" I had was Go Launcher and Go Lockscreen. I was, when this happened, going to check my Google Reader app, and that is when it froze on me. (Never had it happen before this)
So I awoke to an update notification from VZW indicating that an OTA update was available for my D2G.I downloaded the update which took ~25 minutes it went through the restart and installed the software and then upon an auto restart after installation the phone showed a new M logo, transitioned to the pulsating droid logo and is stuck there.I've tried restarting the phone several time with no luck.
I did a factory data reset on my phone through the settings menu. The phone rebooted, but will only cycle through the Droid boot up animation. I let it go for about twenty minutes. The phone will not let me use the power button to shut it down. The only way to turn it off is to pull the battery. The phone had no problems before this.
For the last couple of days my Bionic's browser opens for a half a second in portrait, then switches to landscape and can't be changed out of landscape. No other applications have this issue. My display setting for auto-rotate screen is checked.I've powered off and on and removed and replaced the battery a few times.I've gone into the App Tray>Menu>Manage Apps>All>Browser but I don't find an option to check or uncheck Landscape Only. I cleared the cache while I was there but that doesn't change anything. Since it's only the browser there must be a setting somewhere but I can't figure out how to find it.
A few weeks back I noticed that the call and music volume on my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone ICON) seemed to stuck at half-volume or less, despite appearing in the volume settins to be at full. This makes the Bluetooth unusable for phone conversations except in the quietest of rooms.
I have reset the ICON on numerous occasions -- blew the pairing off the Bionic (and did a hard reset) but to no avail. Nothing seems to bring the volume back up to the way it was.
The messages in my v3xx outbox appear to be automatically deleted after a few days. Is there any way to increase this time limit, or eliminate it altogether? The messages in the inbox remain until you delete them.
I am having an issue where if I am using the email client with my work MS Exchange email. If I try to forward an email with an attachment from my phone, the message sends but is hung up in the outbox and I receive message failed retry. The phone continues to resend(successfully) every ~3 minutes and continues to disply message failed to send notification in the notification bar.
There is no way to delete the message from outbox (i try and says can't be deleted while sending) or otherwise stop this retry function.I have now send 20+ large emails to 2 different people. The only way I have found to fix is to delete the account and setup again.
