In an iphone, with emails, whats the diffference between the Outbox and the Sent folder? Sometimes when I send an email it will go to the Sent folder, but sometimes it go to the Outbox one, and will stay there permanently.

When I "send" an e-mail, it goes to the Outbox. I then have to go to the outbox, open up the e-mail, and click send again before the e-mail sends.
Is there a setting I need to change or is this a problem with OS4?
An e-mail has been in the out box for 15 hours and is using up all of my data plan. How can I stop this?

I was quite happy about it since my work place has hotmail blocked and I can now check my hotmail via the phone, but.... after few days I found out all my outgoing emails are all stucked in the outbox, I tried "Send and Receive" but they still stuck there, can anyone know how to solve this problem?

When I try to send from Outbox, I get a "connection Error" message. I've removed the battery and gave it a rest and put it back in, no better. I uninstalled and reinstalled AOL mail.

Basically, if I create a new message it will send from my WiFi only Xoom via my Exchange account. However, if I reply to a message it just sits in the Outbox forever.
POP3 is fine.
It was fine before I upgraded to 3.1, and my HTC Desire running 2.2 works fine too.
My email is set up correctly. The message will sit in the outbox until I remove the battery and reinstall. Once this is done it sends without issue. Running 4.5.605.

Reading the manual and experimenting with different options has revealed nothing.All incoming emails end up in the Inbox (of course) and there is nowhere that these can be stored. Several folders would be useful to be able to categorise different emails, otherwise you just get a huge list of them all mixed up in the Inbox (which can be set to limit them to either 50 or 100).

Yesterday, I was sending emails from my iphone 4s, I would get an error message saying "a copy has been placed in your outbox. Verify that you have addressed the message correctly. Check you SMTP settings in mail preferences and verify advanced settings with system administrator" The emails stayed in my outbox until today and then finally sent. Is this an issue with my phone? Today I went running using Runkeeper app with a friend of mine. I have an iPhone 4S, he has the 4.We both used the same app, and ran the same track. Since it is an official track, we know the exact distance. It should be 11,4 km (7.13 miles).My phone told me I ran 12,07 km (7,54 miles). This is way off, and screws up my average speeds etc.The funny thing is, that the iphone 4 of my friend had an accurate 11,4 km. The conditions were the same; bit cloudy, bit rain, bit sun. Some trees above, some open sky. The only difference I can think of is that he has an jailbroken iphone and I do not, and his is a 4. I have an iPhone cover (Moshi something), he doesn't. In my opinion he should be the one having inaccurate GPS, not me.

I recently downloaded the iphoto app to my iPhone 4s. I am hoping to clear up some space on my iphone and I deleted some pics from what I thought was the camera roll within iphoto. I noticed later that while attempting to change my wallpaper, I noticed that pics I thought I deleted were still on the phone as evidenced by their availability to be used as wallpaper. I checked that I had selected cameral roll and not photostream, where it would make sense the photos would still be there. When I left settings I noticed that I have iphoto and the phots app on my iphone. Do I need both? And if i want to delete photos, do I need to delete photos from the cameral roll within iphoto AND the photos app??

My question is: is there that big of a noticeable difference in quality between those and a $1.99 screen protector from Meritline?
I used the Incipio Feather on my 3GS, and used the screen protector included. It was clear; I had no trouble applying it; it didn't feel "orange peely" - it basically worked fine.
Does anyone have comparison pics (even on an old phone) that shows the diff between generic cheapo films, and the ones that cost 10x as much?
