I am having an issue where if I am using the email client with my work MS Exchange email. If I try to forward an email with an attachment from my phone, the message sends but is hung up in the outbox and I receive message failed retry. The phone continues to resend(successfully) every ~3 minutes and continues to disply message failed to send notification in the notification bar.
There is no way to delete the message from outbox (i try and says can't be deleted while sending) or otherwise stop this retry function.I have now send 20+ large emails to 2 different people. The only way I have found to fix is to delete the account and setup again.
I just recently flashed my phone to the alltell flash again, after having an issue with the device itself, reflashed to verizon, took it to the store, and got a warranty replacement after they "failed to flash my phone". Anyway -Everything on my phone works now, other than one black txt msg in my outbox that can't be opened, and attempting to delete it through the UI results in an error msg that the message is locked, yet there is no unlock option. Question is, how can I delete that msg using p2kcmdr or whatever other program? I don't have any other important saved txts.
A large email with several documents is stuck in my outbox, it tries to send each time I open mail but it's been in there for over a week and is clearly to big to make it through. I want to delete it from my outbox, how can I do this?
Yesterday, I was sending emails from my iphone 4s, I would get an error message saying "a copy has been placed in your outbox. Verify that you have addressed the message correctly. Check you SMTP settings in mail preferences and verify advanced settings with system administrator" The emails stayed in my outbox until today and then finally sent. Is this an issue with my phone? My service provider,Verizon? or my email hosting company , 1&1?
I have an E65 and for the past few days have had an SMS stuck in the outbox with a "sending" status due to the fact that the number I was trying to send it to was missing one digit. I cannot figure out how to delete the message from the outbox!
I just got my 5800 today. I am not able to txt message, when I create a message and then send it automatically goes into the outbox and is never successfully sent. I've had a text message stuck in the outbox of my HTC6800. It keeps sending to the recipient, who has received it about 50 times over the passed few days. It won't delete, and doesn't remove itself if I reset my phone.
I just bought a N8 and have a little problem with a message. As I did not have a proper connection when I sent it the message went to the outbox. Now its stuck there. Its not sent and I can't delete it. In 'Google' I was reading that older Nokia phones had also this problem. But the N8 is brand new, so how can this happen ? Will Nokia make an update any time soon or have you folks an other solution for me ?
A couple of days ago at work, I had just written a text to my mate. I thought that I sent it, but it just sat in my outbox, saying "resending at (a certain time)" . It wouldn't allow me to send it at all, it just came up saying the resending, resending, and then sending failed! Every time I hit send to any message, to anyone, it says the same thing. My phone says that The memory stick is full, but this problem persists even after clearing enough free memory on the memory stick!
I have nokia5230 i send message that stores in outbox. if i delete or resend also its not moving out from outbox. the symbol near battery indication displays as outbox image. How to remove the message from the outbox?
When I compose and send a mail, it gets placed in Outbox and I get a prompt stating something like "relating the message is not supported". Even if I compose a newest age, it says the vey same thing. I just cannot send any response through my mail account.
I have a Nokia 6120 and I have accidentally tried to send an sms to a number which can't receive them (a landline/fixed phone). Now, the message is stuck in my "outbox" and I can't delete it.The "sending" icon (a little square bracket on its back with an arrow pointing upwards) appears on my screen at all times.I can't see a way to delete the message at all.I have tried deleting the person from my contact list,I have tried turning the phone on and off and I was going to "reset factory settings" but I don't have the correct code.
Each time I try to send an SMS it fails with error msg "Unable to send message xxxx" where xxxx is the telephone number. The message moves into the Outbox folder with Failed status and stay there forever. Both Message centre telephone number and Preferred connection fields are correctly set (GSM/UMTS). I've updated to the latest firmware (12.0.013) but the problems is still present. The phone is not locked to any operator.
Iphone 5 - I am trying to delete message threads and once I do, I go to text someone else and it won't send. I just don't want those messages on my phone anymore. I have tried to restart my phone but when I do, the "deleted" threads show back up on my phone. I use iOS 7.1.
Basically, every single time I try to delete a chat with someone my phone or just the Messages app freezes. I cannot even use the app once I attempt to delete a chat with someone. I end up in the "New Message" screen and it does not go away until I restart my phone. I cannot navigate through my phone at all once I'm on the "New Message" screen. I always have to resort to restarting my phone.Â
I have restored my phone to factory settings then backed it up with whatever is saved. I don't want to restore it to factory settings completely without the backup plan because I have invested a lot into this phone. Â
Also, this started occurring right after I updated to iOS 7.1.2. I thought Apple could do me no wrong... I guess I was just one of the lucky few.
I Am unable to delete single text messages on my iPhone 5. The trash can does not appear at the bottom of the screen like it should. I can restart my iPhone and it will work, but just that one time. Also having an issue with sticky keyboard it isn't typing as I hit the keys there is a major delay, but this doesn't happen all the time it's hit or miss
