Nokia Nseries :: N8 Mail Application - Outgoing Messages Getting Stuck In Outbox
Mar 16, 2012I've been using my N8 with my virgin mail account happily for about a year. Recently I've found that outgoing messages are getting stuck in the outbox. They sometimes send (several days later) after I have restarted my phone. I thought I would try removing the mail box and starting again, after a couple of attempts the mail box was removed, but when I tried to set it up again.
It seemed to hang in the middle of the task and I ended up with a mail box with a string of hexadecimal numbers as the mailbox name. Now I cannot remove it : whenever I try to remove it, I get as far as 'removing mailbox' and then it just hangs there (have left it overnight). Possibly related, I have had a couple of messages recently about phone memory being full, but if i look at it through file manager it has 116MB free, and nothing in there which looks like it could obviously be removed.
BB Bold :: Outbox Emails Duplicate On It?
Oct 24, 2012suddenly all the emails I sent from my BB started to duplicate (I only have my business email account on my BB). This only happens with messages I sent from the BB, not from my PC or tablet, and I can see the duplicates only on my BB.What's wired is that one copy of the email is with my automatic signature and the other without it...I have Enterprise Activation software installed on my BB to synchronize my account, calendar and contacts, I don't if this problem is related with this app. I thought maybe I could delete my email account from the BB and then re-install it with Enterprise Activation but I don't know if it's a good idea.

Oct 10, 2012If I send an email (exchange) from an area with marginal service, the email will get stuck in the outbox.It will not send when I enter an area with "good service." e.g. my house with wifi, or anywhere in town with good 3G.I cannot delete the emails from the outbox. It states "email cannot be openned it is currently being sent."I get errors every minute that says "X" emails cannot be sent. Where X is the number I tried to send while out of service area.The error it says is connection error. I am the exchange server admin, and all the settings are correct. If I go back in and try to re-enter the settings, it doesn't fix it. I am forced to delete and re-enter the account with the same settings. I have had to do this 4 times now (I have had the phone since Sep. 13th). I have 23 other phones currently running on the server, and I personally have had 2 others (HTC Evo Shift and Palm Pre) that did not have this issue.

Nov 20, 2011Over the last week or so, I have been finding it increasingly difficult to send emails from K9 mail. have always had a problem whereby emails go into an "outbox" instead of being sent to my correpsondent when I hit send. I then have to go to the "outbox" folder, bring up the menu and then pres Send Messages. Extremely frustrating in itself, but just about tolerableNow however when I do this I get a notification saying "could not send some messages java.net.SocketException: H". Fpor a while, it would eventually work after 5 or 6 tries, but now just won't send at all.

May 15, 2010when you try to send a normal text message (not mms) it just sits in your outbox? - i have spoken to my service provider and they've ruled out its their network (which i already knew, as i tried my sim card in my husbands mobile and i was able to send txts no problems and we're with the same company and have the same phone).
I've updated the software and my service provider also sms'd me their set up details and it still refuses to send any messages - i can receive messages and i can send MMS (picture) messages, but normal txts just sit in my outbox. My service provider has said they think its an issue with my actual handset but as im one month out of their 12 month warranty cover, if i want it looked it at i have to pay for it , i havent done anything to it (ie dropped it etc) and it was working fine on thursday, the problem only started yesterday afternoon.

Sep 22, 2012Brand new E7 with all updates done and running Belle. Phone works great with very little issues. Emails work fine. Calls and everything work fine. But sometimes SMS get stuck in outbox as deferred and does not send them even after the time to resend hits. This happens about 3 to 4 out of 10 messages. If it deferred and then actually sends the message when its suppose to, I wouldn't care so much. I've yet to have a deferred message sent yet I can click on it and press send and it goes.
