The messages in my v3xx outbox appear to be automatically deleted after a few days. Is there any way to increase this time limit, or eliminate it altogether? The messages in the inbox remain until you delete them.

I have 2 cell phones; one on Telus contract, and a V3xx unlocked on Rogers Pay as You Go. I would like to be able to share a Telus plan, but Telus says the V3xx will not run on their 3G network. I installed a Telus SIM card, and it cannot find a network. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the Motorola to work with a Telus SIM card?

They'd get a text and not properly show the little VM icon, and you would need to do seem editing to get it to work.Is this also the case with V3xx or will it work as is?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola RAZR v3xx. Until about a week ago I could charge it from either a wall charger or USB port. Now it will not take a charge from either. It will power up when connected to a power source, but the low battery message stays on and it beeps. This is a good reminder that I'd like to back up my data in case my phone is ever lost or it breaks.

When I try to send from Outbox, I get a "connection Error" message. I've removed the battery and gave it a rest and put it back in, no better. I uninstalled and reinstalled AOL mail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I send an email (exchange) from an area with marginal service, the email will get stuck in the outbox.It will not send when I enter an area with "good service." e.g. my house with wifi, or anywhere in town with good 3G.I cannot delete the emails from the outbox. It states "email cannot be openned it is currently being sent."I get errors every minute that says "X" emails cannot be sent. Where X is the number I tried to send while out of service area.The error it says is connection error. I am the exchange server admin, and all the settings are correct. If I go back in and try to re-enter the settings, it doesn't fix it. I am forced to delete and re-enter the account with the same settings. I have had to do this 4 times now (I have had the phone since Sep. 13th). I have 23 other phones currently running on the server, and I personally have had 2 others (HTC Evo Shift and Palm Pre) that did not have this issue.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue where if I am using the email client with my work MS Exchange email. If I try to forward an email with an attachment from my phone, the message sends but is hung up in the outbox and I receive message failed retry.The phone continues to resend(successfully) every ~3 minutes and continues to disply message failed to send notification in the notification bar.
There is no way to delete the message from outbox (i try and says can't be deleted while sending) or otherwise stop this retry function.I have now send 20+ large emails to 2 different people.The only way I have found to fix is to delete the account and setup again.
I've searched here and not seen anyone else with the same problem, but Google is full of them.
Basically, if I create a new message it will send from my WiFi only Xoom via my Exchange account. However, if I reply to a message it just sits in the Outbox forever.
POP3 is fine.
It was fine before I upgraded to 3.1, and my HTC Desire running 2.2 works fine too.
My emails over 30 days are being deleted automaticallyFor my personal Gmail account on my BB, under Options, Message display and Actions, Days to Keep Messages, it's set to "forever".However my emails are only kept for 30 days, anything older would get deleted. I've tried changing the "forever" option down to 180, and 90 days, restart the phone, and change it back to "forever", however emails over 30 days are still being deleted.Does anyone else have this problem?I have 2 email accounts synced, the gmail one, and another university email (which oddly enough, does not have this issue)Btw I'm on a 9900 in Vodafone UKII was on 7.1.342 and eventually updated to .391 and the issue is still here

Then i tried to sync my account but then also the contacts did not show up although they are present in my account at sony ericsson site. The weird is the names of the senders are still on the list but when you open them one by one the messages are gone. The ones automatically deleted are not even old text messages, they are just 4 days old. The names are also in color green. I hate deleting important text messages. Tried backing up my sms and restore them but when backing up, the ones deleted are ofcourse gone, so obviously I cannot restore anything that is gone.

Regular emails go fine. I have tried resetting all the cache on each of the applications and still nothing. I also reformatted my storage and still the same problem.

Blackberry could never give me any way to prevent this from support while it was under warranty. When it came back, the OS was upgraded to 6.0 from 5.0.all is fine except now the text messages are getting deleted after few days...what remains is the name of the sender in green with no message in it. It is not deleted by me or any other person. Is there any option to get back all those messages. One more thing, in Nokia C5 there is no option to mute the sound of the camera.
