BB Bold :: Text Sms's Getting Deleted Automatically?

My text messages are now automatically deleted even though my memory is not full. The weird is the names of the senders are still on the list but when you open them one by one the messages are gone. The ones automatically deleted are not even old text messages, they are just 4 days old. The names are also in color green. I hate deleting important text messages. Tried backing up my sms and restore them but when backing up, the ones deleted are ofcourse gone, so obviously I cannot restore anything that is gone.

I have a BB bold 9780 and my text messages are being automatically deleted after a certain amount of time. I don't seem to have the option to set how long my device stores messages. i.e. options --> message display and action----> days to keep message
Am using BB curve 9300 3G, and OS 6.0.Around 2 months back, i was having issue with my BB so sent it to service center. When it came back, the OS was upgraded to 6.0 from 5.0.all is fine except now the text messages are getting deleted after few days...what remains is the name of the sender in green with no message in it. My emails over 30 days are being deleted automaticallyFor my personal Gmail account on my BB, under Options, Message display and Actions, Days to Keep Messages, it's set to "forever".However my emails are only kept for 30 days, anything older would get deleted. I've tried changing the "forever" option down to 180, and 90 days, restart the phone, and change it back to "forever", however emails over 30 days are still being deleted.Does anyone else have this problem?I have 2 email accounts synced, the gmail one, and another university email (which oddly enough, does not have this issue)Btw I'm on a 9900 in Vodafone UKII was on 7.1.342 and eventually updated to .391 and the issue is still here
For the last few months, my sms and emails keep getting deleted automatically every few days. I am no sure if this has anything to do with blackberry protect which I have been using for sometime.
My gmails are all automatically deleted at random times throughout the day. This only occurs on the blackberry, not on my computer. Brought device to sprint tech support and they did a hard reset, but problem still occurs.
My company BB Bold 9780 synchronises agenda's between MS Outlook and my device calendar. Some time ago an daily recurring Outlook calendar entry was deleted, but it still shows on my BB calendar. When I delete this recurring entry from my BB it comes back one day later. I therefore want to reset my calendar, but when I connect via BB Desktop Mgr it does not allow me to delete my calendar entries. I do not know what to do anymore and I find it rather frustrating to delete the entry every day or leave it in my BB calendar.
My month old BB Torch 9810 has automatically deleted "old" text messages and my outgoing text messages up to a few days old. My message settings are set to "Keep messages forever".(although ive hardly any emails/messages/pictures/apps on this phone yet compared with my last phone,a Bold, which never automatically deleted anything?)In addtion my track ball has stopped working when I have the slider open and use the keypad rather than the touchscreen.
I have a BlackBerry Bold 9000 smartphone and using the Blackberry desktop software version 4.2 to sync contacts And outlook emails. But I realized that new contacts added to my blackberry are being deleted automatically.
After finding out photos had been deleted I see that text messages have been deleted also. I would like to undelete or recover text msgs. What are my options?

How can I retrieve older text messages that have been automatically removed. I need to retrieve text messages that are 8 months old from a sender but I can no longer see. Blackberry Bold 9700
Starting yesterday night, every time I would try to open the activity log for my boyfriend, the phone will freeze. I took the battery out and turned the device off. Once back on, I noticed that some of my text messages were missing between us. Its only him, no other contact in my phone. Does anyone know why. When I do a search for it, I see all the text messages even the ones missing but every time I try to pull it up in messages, it doesn't show up and freezes. I've only had the device for a couple of days.
Apologies in advance if this is something that has been covered before. When I am typing a text (SMS) message on my new Blackberry Bold 9700, if I press ALT-DEL it will delete the entire message. I never had this problem on my old Blackberry Curve 8900. Wondering if there is a way to fix this problem?
I recently plugged for first time my Blackberry Pearl on PC, and before the backup all my SMS have been deleted, I had only 7 sms. but i need to find them (that's why i plugged the phone to the PC!)I did not click on buttons or select on any option. they deleted automatically
I Had updated my xperia x10 about a month ago. Since then i am facing troubles with contacts. The contacts got deleted itself. Then i tried to sync my account but then also the contacts did not show up although they are present in my account at sony ericsson site. I am using e72 since 1 month. My phone call logs gets deleted automatically as the day starts. I have set the call log duration to 30 days. My phone software version is 031.023 date31/03/2010. Please provide the solution
Ever since I had it, it automatically and for no reason deletes all call logs. Blackberry could never give me any way to prevent this from support while it was under warranty. My Motorola Pebble didn't do this, and my iPhone 4, which was stolen a month ago, never did this. since I have a month to go before I can upgrade my phone, meaning I can get a decent phone without paying a small fortune for it?
My texts seem to get deleted after about 2 weeks and I want it to stop .. how do i do this? also .. is there any way i can get back messages that have been lost? like are they stored anywhere else?
also, i used to be able to type in somones name on the homepage and it would come up with all the texts from them, my facebook interaction with them e.t..c and now this has stopped too .
I am using blackberry 8520 . i was having around 300 phone no. in my cell phone in first title got deleted automatically then again i saved title with name. Second time most of no. deleted from my cell now only 100 phone no. is there in my cell. retrive my no. i dont have any back up also. earlier i was not using BBM service in my phone but one of my friend is using that so i inserted his sim in my cell and set up my gmail and yahoo account in my phone. Now wats hapning to my phone that i dont know.
I have the 8130 pearl and realized my memory was low so i had been losing all my recent messages including texts i never had a chance to read. i fixed the memory problem and everything is coming in fine now but is there a way to read the text messages i haven't seen yet?
Does anyone know if you have a conversation with Blackberries in BBM and the other person deletes you as a friend, does the conversation automatically get deleted and if so can it be restored? I save all my messages.
Messages weeks ago are automatically deleted even you have already set 'never delete' .It should be me not BB to decide which message is kept or deleted. The official BB distributor in China and customer service of China Mobile are not able to give any solution that makes sense.
