BB Bold :: Text Msgs Deleted?
Nov 12, 2011After finding out photos had been deleted I see that text messages have been deleted also. I would like to undelete or recover text msgs. What are my options?

Motorola Droid 2 :: Old Text Msgs Reappearing Like New?
Aug 29, 2011is that google has something to do with this. I have google backup (it just copies the text to my gmail account) - it's good to have history, at least for me. However, something is really strange. Every once in a while, a bunch of old text messages come up - and keep going. These things only have a time stamp on them so I can only tell that they aren't new by their content! They don't get logged as new in my gmail.I have used a backup app to delete them all. No good, they keep popping up.So, this is either a "feature" of the droid or motorola or verizon or google. Other straing things happen in droid OS, so I don't completely discount that but my feeling is that google "backup" is doing more than just that.

Nov 17, 2012I am using Droid Razr ICS for some reason today none of my text messages will delete. I am using the Razrs text messaging app when I try to delete I get all the correct prompts to delete any message. When I select the last prompt to delete, you go back to the message list. The actual message appears to be deleted but you still see all the people or group you sent to or received from, which makes no sense to me. I have tried deleting and rebooting the device no change.

The weird is the names of the senders are still on the list but when you open them one by one the messages are gone. The ones automatically deleted are not even old text messages, they are just 4 days old. The names are also in color green. I hate deleting important text messages. Tried backing up my sms and restore them but when backing up, the ones deleted are ofcourse gone, so obviously I cannot restore anything that is gone.

Jun 20, 2010The problem I am having is that when I receive an email, I will open it, read it if need be and either leave it as is or go back to the home screen. A few seconds later the email indicator shows back up as a new message, like if I havent read the message. If I retort back to opening it again, a few secs later, the indicator pops back up. So in order to get rid of the problem all together, I have to simply delete the message which takes care of the problem.
Is there a way I can get rid of this problem without always having to delete my messages? I have tried deleting my email account and adding it back, but the problem in fact remains. I have gone thru the options menu to email setting and changed some things in there just to see if that would fix it. But nope, the problem still remains. Can someone please tell me what the problem could be and how this can finally go away? thanks in advance.

Apr 28, 2010Havin some trouble this morning, did as battery pull this morning and when the phone rebooted, I see 27 unread txt msg in the home screen, but when I go to my inbox there is nothing there, any one have any idea what's going on here, tried a battery pull again and still nothing.

Jun 28, 2010Starting yesterday night, every time I would try to open the activity log for my boyfriend, the phone will freeze. I took the battery out and turned the device off. Once back on, I noticed that some of my text messages were missing between us. Its only him, no other contact in my phone. Does anyone know why. When I do a search for it, I see all the text messages even the ones missing but every time I try to pull it up in messages, it doesn't show up and freezes. I've only had the device for a couple of days.
