i am trying to set up my my phone again after i got it back from repair sevice. i put in my second motorblur acct which i after used my 2nd email from yahoo.com. i try to add my main yahoo email to my account and it is not let me add it """it telling me login to the account failed,please try again"". i check the spelling and password it work on the pc and it work and on browers on atrix.

Its been almost a week with the Yahoo e-mail not working on my Atrix. The first few days it would work off and on. Now it keeps telling me connection error. I have removed the account several times and re-added it, and still dosn't seem to fix it. Just trying to use the basic e-mail that came with the phone. Phone is updated to .83.

Now it keeps pulling up some emails. but not all. Also, non of the archive folders are there.We both have a gmail acct. too and those are updating fine.

I had added it when I first got the phone. It told me that I was successful but I do not see it. When I attempt to add the account again, I get the message "The account has already been added"
Other than going to the Accounts list, is there somewhere I could check to see of the account actually exits? Is there a way to over-write the account?

After a factory reset, one of my email accounts is still showing up in my Messaging application and my Universal Inbox.This, naturally, seems to be interfering with Gmail getting messages from that account. The prior gmail account I was using is beginning to be inundated with spam and it has got to go.After searching I've found this: go to home. Click grid. Click all apps. Click email. Enter a new email, pop etc. There is no option for anything of the sort and from that point the grid button doesn't do anything. This makes very little sense.Is my phone permanently associated with that gmail account? Can I drop it and add a new account or not?

My Yahoo e-mail account won't delete. I wanted to remove my Yahoo account on my 9780 and went into setup to delete it. It no longer shows as a listed account in the setup menu but it still appears as an icon on the homepage. It's still active retrieving messages. I tried rebooting by removing the battery to no avail.

View 6 Replies View RelatedNew Galaxy six, did the whole gmail sync to get my contacts transferred. Also since the gmail account set-up, I'm getting so much more junk in both of my accounts. It's obviously not as secure as my other emails. But bottom line, my mail won't send from yahoo but will from my imap account with century link. My old LG had me set up as yahoo being imap, the new Galaxy set it up as pop? I can't access my outgoing settings anymore on my old phone so don't know what to change them to?

I tried it both on phone directly and also login to my nokia messaging account to confirm it but to no avail. The message error that pop up was unable to login try again. I don't know if anyone is expriencing this problem; if so and have resolved it kindly let me know.

Where using the Nokia Messaging you can add up to 10 email accounts. When I click the button that says ADD ANOTHER, it will lead you to the page where you ad your other email accounts and that email add must already exist, but after i fill up the box typing the correct existing yahoo email add, my correct yahoo password, and after clicking NEXT button, it just doesn't get across. the error shows "This email address must be added on the phone". So, i added my yahoo mail on my phone using the Email setting wizard on my Nokia E72 with the correct email ad and password. After adding it on my phone, I tried to do it again on the Nokia messaging Site and did it all over agin. And still it won't work on my yahoo. I still get the same ERROR!

I noticed that I had not been receiving my yahoo mail lately and went to accounts and it showed under my Motoblur accounts. After not being able to get it to work I deleted the account to try and reinstall it. When I go to Add Account and select the Yahoo Mail icon under Motoblur accts then put in the email address and password I get an error msg "Login to the account failed, please try again." I have checked and rechecked that all of the info is correct and it is.
