Feb 20, 2012Since the update, I have been having an issue with my sounds for notifications just go silent and the phone reverts to vibrating only. The thing is, the notifications are still set to "sound" and they play correctly when I go through the select notification sound option.

Mar 1, 2012I prefer to use to ring tones and rely on vibrate mode, but the native vibrate is so short and weak that I miss it most of the time. I have tried a doze apps that are suppose to let you customize vibrations and the like. I can get none of them to work. The best I an hope for is that my original vibrate still works (the stock "2 short vibrates"). In many cases installing the app disables the vibrate mode alltogether. I have read some things about turning off the "stock" vibrate, etc. but those instructions are very unclear and I haven't found a way to make it work. I'm frankly shocked at the lack of "built in" customization of notifications. But even if I need to get an app to do it, how in the world can I make that app work. My old benighted Blackberry was better at notifying me.

Jul 16, 2012Was recently on vacation and somehow while in my luggage the date got changed to 08/02/2018 on my motoactv.
I ran for 10k on the 11th of July. Noticed the date and Reset the time and date to correct date and time. Synced my work outs from the last few days okay when I got back. Only problem is when I go to recent workouts on Motoactv the recent work out is blank - "No Raw Data", on the android app I can see the run as my most recent, shows the date and data but still for 2018. there is no way on the motoactv.com site to change the date of the run.
If I do another run it still shows the run 08/02/2018 as my most recent on both the android app and on the motoactv site.
Can someone change the date to 11/07/2012 or will I have to try and delete it from the android app and lose my run data?

Jan 4, 2012I was wondering if there was any word on the first/newest software update to the Motorola Atrix 2? I love this phone. I also loved the original Atrix, but with so many software issues on their latest update, and much complaining to AT&T that since Mototola's fix was to say forget it and make the Atrix 2, that should be my fix...I got AT&T to give me the Atrix 2 for free!!.Like I said I like this phone just as much as the original Iphone. So when I went in for my upgrade in August, instead of getting the Iphone 4 like everyone (and knowing the I4S was around the corner) I wanted something different. I get new phones all the time. Jul 25, 2011Yesterday I downloaded and installed the gingerbread update. Following instructions I changed the usb mode to whatever the setting was that I needed to complete the update via computer file transfer (mass storage mode?). After completing the update I sat and played with all the shiney new features until my battery died (oops) and now I can't charge my phone because I can't power it on long enough to change the usb mode back to "none" or whatever. Is there a way to override this or externally change this? Prior to the update the usb would default back to charging mode if the battery died, I am happy about the updates, but this issue is a HUGE problem. I hadn't installed the usb driver on my computer to charge via usb connection, and the phone needs to be turned on in order to initialize thisdriver, so I can't even charge that way. If there is no way to externally change this setting, what in the world am I supposed to do to get my phone to turn back on?

Aug 18, 2011Since I updated to the Gingerbread operating system the phone does not recognize the USB to charge and the pc is telling me that it cannot recognize the device either. I have tried to update drivers, but that has not worked.
After the battery died, the phone would flash on the Motoblur screen for a few seconds. Eventually (after more than 12 hours of the flashing on and off screen) it did charge up, but I don't know how to keep it charged and I cannot connect or sync with the computer. It is not the cable, as I have the same issue with the car charger connected.
I was able to do a External Reset, but it still has the same issue. AT&T doesn't know anything about it and has offered no solution. What should I do? Everything was working fine before the update. Is there any way to restore the old operating system?

May 13, 2011I try to update the phone by installing and running the Motorola Update Manager (I don't have wifi), after I start the process on Vista Update Manager found the update, downloaded it and start the update process.At 50% of the last step (I don't recall the name) the phone rebooted itself which I think it was part of the process.
