Has anyone else had a problem with their Atrix while texting where the phone (or keyboard) adds a different letter arbitrarily while typing. In my case my phone adds the letter "Q" however its in lower case. I have removed battery and restarted multiple times. No better.

texting adds country code causing failed messages and I keep failing. I have removed assisted calling. This is a galaxy s6 edge from verizon and i am now in Germany. I am using telekom network.

MMS gets selected automatically. After adding recipient & touching send an icon appears in the notification bar & disappears after some time. After some more time a message apears in the notification bar saying that the message was not sent.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I pulled my 9900 out of my pocket, I saw that the letter P had fallen off of my keyboard and into my pocket. No idea how that happened, especially since my phone is in top shape. I called T-Mobile to see if my phone was under warranty (I bought it the first day it was available in California, which was on August 31st, 2011) and if there was anything that could be done. They directed me to call RIM about the issue. I called RIM this morning and was told by the representative that the warranty is at T-Mobile's discretion and that I'd basically have to hash this issue out with them. So I just got off of the phone with T-Mobile, again, and was told that the button falling off wasn't a "known issue with this device," therefore the warranty was void and my only option was to buy a new phone. This is terrible, a $600 phone and within less than a year my button falls off. The sad thing about it is, I also own the 9700 Curve and I had this same issue happen, except it took more than a year before the letter P fell off of that one.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just got this phone off Amazon market place, and when I flip the phone to the left to use the qwerty keyboard, the letter 'E' does not work correctly, sometimes it does work but other's it just spams my phone with the letters next to it (W and R). The thing which confuses me is when I go to use a menu on the same place it works fine, just not on the qwerty keyboard, also when I turn the phone to the right to use the qwerty keyboard on that side it seems to work fine.

It is impossible to have every name in any database, so if I capitalize a word, it should just leave it alone. I have typed so many things on fb and elsewhere only to see a name of a person or place coming up something ridiculous after I put it up.

As I go to the keyboard setting and set this custom keyboard as the default one, the phone has been working perfectly poping up whatever custom keyboard I defaulted for couple weeks until yesterday... the phone keep going back to the default Multi touch keyboard and won't remember the selected default keyboard for some reason..
The second Atrix in our house is having strange keyboard behavior. Has been fine all day until about an hour ago.

The d escape key, control key, and several other keys that seem to be involved in the F5 key combination go dead.I have learned to trick it. I do FN-F5 and hit escape and keep hitting the combinations until escape works, then hit control-alt-d which seems to clear the issue.Is there anything I can do to stop it from going into this crazy mode.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy atrix works with the hd dock and saitek backlit usb keyboard fine. I also have a gigabyte bluetooth mouse thats works with the ocassional dropout. The problem is I just got a motorola bluetooth keyboard with trackpad and it doesn't work in webtop mode. The mouse portion of the keyboard works sometimes and then drops out, but I can't type anything. The caps lock light will not even come on. When I undock the phone the keyboard will work and then disconnects randomly. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. Hopefully this will be fixed with a software update.

Well I updated this morning and my keyboard no longer vibrates when I touch a key, or if it does it is barely noticeable. Is this intentional? Was a setting changed/re-set due to the update? Is there a way to control the amount of vibration when you push a letter? I am missing the space bar constantly because it doesn't vibrate.

1) I can not connect to the intenet/wifi at home. Had the update go through on the 18th and since then,it will not connect. Connects everywhere else. Went to a Tmobile store and they backed up everything and did a reinstall. Still wont work. Building has reset the router. Says secured, WEP, but wont connect and then goes and shows disabled.
2) When it was reinstalled, now I can not skip two spaces when texting or in emails and then the period inserted and next letter is capitalized. How do I get that back...

I've just had a replacement bold 9780 after my previous one competely went AWOL.But since getting this new phone, literally like a few hours after getting it I got 3 random adds from people I genuinely don't know, and when asking them how they got my pin none of them replied, although one of them said "don't know" which was helpful
2 were some stupud bleach blonde bints from the UK, and some hench guy who when I looked up on facebook we have absolutely 0 mutual friends and I have a profile set to private so there's no way he could ever get any info from me.I don't understand how a brand new phone's pin can already be spread about when at the time of the adds I hadn't even told anybody about it yet

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am facing a bit of an irritating problem on my samsung galaxy s6. When I go to phone -> 1-9 keyboard and use it for the letters (2=a,b,c; 3=d,e,f, etc.), I can easily find the number I need. The problem is that for most of my contacts, when I click them, a second window pops up, asking me exactly which number for this contact I'd like to dial. Now.... I don't have a second number for any of my contacts.
When I go and check them in the contacts menu, they only show one mobile number per contact. When the window thingy pops up, it always shows multiple options of the same exact number, or maybe the same number with some spacings added / removed between the digits. I am 99% sure that the problem is because of google contacts, viber, whatsapp, etc., but do not know how to fix it without removing the contact from the app.
Just recently after selecting stock apps like messaging, internet, etc. instead of opening the app an add and a quick flash to Google Play takes place. I use Avast and it found no problems.
