My daughter (an iPhone 4 user) glanced at my Atrix while i was playing Angry Birds and asked why everything was so brown. She then compared her screen to mine and I was astounded at how poorly yellows are rendered on my phone! I then comparedit to my son's Samsung Captivate, with similar results. Color rendition on the Atrix is really off.Is there a way to make the color temperature cooler on the Atrix, or to completely recallibrate the display? Now that I've seen the difference, it's hard not to see problems in the display all the time. Any chance that a future update will fix the display driver to be more balanced?
I've noticed an interesting bug (feature?) with my X2. When web browsing, the color temperature of the screen will change every couple of minutes between a blueish hue and an orange one. Is this related to auto-brightness or is it a defect?
My phone has pink screen, it's even but I want to tweak the colors and make it more accurate (or at least for my own like) ... I'm rooted, any good apps for this out there? I want to keep stock kernel if possible ...
Does anyone know someone (company) whom can correct the color tempature on a defective iPhone 4S ATT version? I have one good one iPhone 4S (Sprint) and one defective iPhone 4S one. I want them to match. I am willing to pay a fair price for this update.
Is there any app which we can use to adjust the r g b values for the display and adjust the color temperature of the screen? Anything similar to KCAL on Nexus 6. Any kernel/app will do.
I know there are apps that do this, ie Light Flow being one of them that allow you to change the LED notification color for specific apps, like red for gmail etc. Those apps drain battery from waking and such and was wondering if Motorola could incorpate that feature into the Atrix 2.
I performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. This is minor, but annoying that my phone is behaving differently than it should. I am running 2.3.4 and have tried multiple resets (full resets removing all data and media)
I've had two Atrix phones since March of this year. The first one was replaced for an issue unrelated to the topic of this post. Both of these devices demonstrated the following behavior:
Approximately every 15 to 25 power cycles, when the Motorola logo starts to animate the phone's LED will begin to blink in one of several colors. It stops blinking when the Motorola logo disappears. The blinking color is most often violet-purple. However, on at least three occasions I've seen it blink light blue and on one occasion it was blinking red.
The blinking LED at this stage of system initialization appears to be a color coded reporting mechanism to indicate a particular state of the phone (perhaps a failure code reporting feature). I'm guessing it's similar to the POST beep codes that a personal computer emits shortly after powered on to indicate such things as device failures, driver loading issues, or configuration problems.
I would like to know what these colors mean during this stage of the phone's booting process. That is, when I see the flashing LED during the Motorola logo animation, I want to know which part of the system is failing. There's no information on the web (including within this forum) that I've been able to locate on this and Motorola technical phone support personnel seem oblivious to the fact that this blinking color reporting even exists.
how to learn what these codes mean? As I've mentioned, both of my Atrix phones have demonstrated this behavior, so I presume all Atrix phones are equipped to demonstrate it as well under certain conditions. It's hard to imagine that Motorola engineers would have implemented a feature like this and then provided no information to anyone about what the color codes mean to make the feature useful.
Why does it change from blue to white/gray sometimes? Whats the difference? I've noticed so far that blue is good and data might not work if it's gray.
i can`t calibrate my screen and most of the time a part of my screen does not work.sometime`s the phone starts opening randon stuff and starts tripping.i searched my whole phone and on google but still can`t calibrate my screen.sometime`s my phone is super slow. ev en in performance mode.
I've seen questions about this with other phones, but haven't found an answer. I've been unable to calibrate the compass (it never turns green, sometimes turns red). I have removed a compass app.
I guess after the update it has decided it won't post the correct temp in the taskbar.. I cleared the cache in the app.. The only way it shows the correct temp is to reboot the Xoom.. I open weather bug and the temperature is right but isn't what shows in the taskbar nor does it update it in the taskbar.
Recently when streaming a tv show via tv shows stream, I noticed tha back of my xoom getting noticeably warm...almost hot. Notto the point where it hurt or anything, but definitely very warm. My question is, what is a normal operating temperature for the xoom say when browsing a via tabs and maybe running a game or two? I have downloaded an app that keeps track of my internal temperature and I want to know what temperatures I should be cautious of.
So I have a T-Mobile SIM (SIM slot 1) and an AT&T SIM (SIM slot 2) in my 950XL. In the T-Mobile Messaging app, the text is in blue. In the AT&T Messaging app, the text in purple. I want to change the text color in each app but I haven't found a way to do so.
id like to buy one of those over 3000mah batteries for my atrix 2 , but where i live i can only find this batteries for the atrix 4g and im not sure if it works on the atrix 2.
How to calibrate the battery....Some websites say to let the phone drain until it turns itself off and charge it right away and others say to let the battery sit for 5+ hours once it's dead.
i need to calibrate my screen, how can i do it?, my problem is: when is bloqued the iphoe and y whrite te code, teh screnn is back creazy and y can not whrite well.and also i need to make my screen can move from one side to other. I bought the motoActv golf version about a week ago. Worked fine the first day, but the second day I turned it on and had no color in the background. It was in black and white. I can see things somewhat ok, but its frustrating when it has no color. Somedays I turn it on and its fine. Monday I used it on my bike and was great. Yesterday and Wednesday it had no color to it. I played around with it last night and it somehow had color, turned it on this morning and there is no color. Brightness is all the way up and it is charged as well.
My C6-00 (RM-612) was working fine all this while...and then I upgraded to 41.0.010 (Custom Version 41.0.010.C01.01).
After a day or two of the upgrade, I noticed that the touch left side of the screen drifted ... ie when I press * it dials 0. However the right side seems fine.
I tried the touch screen calibration but nothing happens when I tap the center of the top-left corner bullseye.
The accelerometer on my phone is misaligned. I started to notice this when I played Need For Speed Shift. When I hold my phone upright, the car would slowly veer to the right. I need to calibrate / re-calibrate my acclerometer so that I can fix this annoying issue. On Samsung, there's a calibration option on the Settings. I can't find it on my phone.
First, I have Haptic Feeback turned off in Settings > Sound, but it still vibrates when I tap any of the four soft buttons above the keyboard. Is there any way to turn that off?Second, having had a Admiral before the Xprt, I loved the blue colors included in the interface. The Xprt uses a lot of red, which signifies "trouble" when I see it. Any way to change this red color so it does not appear on menu selections, buttons, etc.
Ok, so got another quest. How do you change the color of your led light, my first droid would light up green if I missed a call & this droid lights up blue.
My gravity sensor is a bit tilted, but I can't find any way to fix it. There used to be a option to do it on some old Xperia phones, but it seems this functionality has been takenĀ out completely. Is there any possibility to recalibrate the sensor on system level?
