May 10, 2011My daughter (an iPhone 4 user) glanced at my Atrix while i was playing Angry Birds and asked why everything was so brown. She then compared her screen to mine and I was astounded at how poorly yellows are rendered on my phone! I then comparedit to my son's Samsung Captivate, with similar results. Color rendition on the Atrix is really off.Is there a way to make the color temperature cooler on the Atrix, or to completely recallibrate the display? Now that I've seen the difference, it's hard not to see problems in the display all the time. Any chance that a future update will fix the display driver to be more balanced?

Is there a system file I can edit to change the default color to something like a green when I'm opening certain applications that use the black bar? May 29, 2015I understand that AMOLED screens tend to run warmer but it seems my device has some rather annoying color shift. When I look at the phone headon there is a bit of a yellow tint. However if I change the angle just slightly there is a blue/purple tint across the screen.
The yellow I'm seeing might be a true white but the color shifting to blue/purple is quite annoying.
This was a replacement device and I'm not sure if I remember this or not on my old device.
