However, with KitKat I could have a different color LED light notification for different apps. I could have one for email, text message, voicemail, etc. But with the new lollipop, I don't have any flashing light LED notifications. Am I just not finding it or did they take this away?

Usually when i receive a notification when my phone screen is off the led light blinks blue, but its blinking a yellowish green. (This happens just for Android Central and Windows Central)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to customize the notification LED per app. I've tried 3 tools to achieve this but I am not having success. Both GravityBox and XBlast tools would let me change the colour, but it would never work. All my notifications were still white. Even when I "previewed" the notification light, it would still be white. I also tried light flow, but only a couple of notification lights would show (those were some of the predefined settings). Are there specific hex values I have to use to get it to work? I really want to get this to work ....

I've recently upgraded to an LG G3 S and have been playing around with it, but am having trouble changing the LED notification colour to anything other than red!
To begin with I wasn't gettting any LED notification lights at all, so I installed Light Flow (and also tried Light Manager) and this allowed me to receive LED notifications for missed Calls, Text's, etc. But I'm unable to change the LED light colour to anything other than red using these APP's. How to get a different colour LED working for them or if it's a known quirk?
I'm using the S6 on stock rom (Android 5.1.1.). However, none of the LED changer apps is working. View 7 Replies View Related I just switched from an iPhone to a Galaxy S6. I am loving the phone and everything about it...except the texting app notifications. Coming from the iphone I really liked how I could keep the content of the text private, but it would show me who sent it. I also had the notification pop up in the middle of the lock screen and turn the screen on momentarily, and then I could swipe the notification to the right to open it in the texting app.
For the life of me, I can't find an app that will do exactly that. I really liked that feature. I don't want a quick response window to reply from the lock screen.
Sometimes I receive Twitter notifications not just appearing in the notification bar but also as a pop-up over the top of what I'm looking at the time. I woke up this morning and noticed that my phone was flashing a light blue color. I looked around on my phone to see if something was wrong or there was an update or something and there was no indication why it was on. Then after that it stopped. I want to make the orange FB notifications DISAPPEAR. My belief is that since I see that orange # show up so frequently, with every new comment to a FB post, that my device must be pushing notifications and checking FB every 10 minutes, wearing down my battery. So I would like to end that.
I have already:
1.Gone to App Settings > Refresh Interval and said NEVER
2.Gone to App Settings > Notifications and choose INACTIVE
3.Gone to Account Settings > Notifications > Mobile Push and UNCHECKED everything
I have also gone to Device Settings > Applications > Application Manager > Facebook and UNCHECKED Show Notifications.
The same orange circle with number of new emails show on my email icon, but I don't mind that so much. However, if I can disable it, perhaps I can find my way to disable on Facebook.
On my 1520, at times the calendar and messaging app keypad will go to a light color and becomes blurry. Sometime it comes and goes. Sometimes I have to reset it. Sometimes I have to reset it multiple times to make it go away.
