Like when you use applications and they automatically turn the status bar black. Is there a system file I can edit to change the default color to something like a green when I'm opening certain applications that use the black bar? I really don't want to put up with seeing burn in where the status bar is in the main UI or watching videos or something like that.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to customize the notification LED per app. I've tried 3 tools to achieve this but I am not having success. Both GravityBox and XBlast tools would let me change the colour, but it would never work. All my notifications were still white. Even when I "previewed" the notification light, it would still be white. I also tried light flow, but only a couple of notification lights would show (those were some of the predefined settings). Are there specific hex values I have to use to get it to work? I really want to get this to work ....

I cannot download free apps using my apple id because it keeps on telling me that I should update payment method. I don't use any credit card anymore. How can I restore it to black text? I haven't found anything on this in the online manuals.
However, with KitKat I could have a different color LED light notification for different apps. I could have one for email, text message, voicemail, etc. But with the new lollipop, I don't have any flashing light LED notifications. Am I just not finding it or did they take this away?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI understand that AMOLED screens tend to run warmer but it seems my device has some rather annoying color shift. When I look at the phone headon there is a bit of a yellow tint. However if I change the angle just slightly there is a blue/purple tint across the screen.
The yellow I'm seeing might be a true white but the color shifting to blue/purple is quite annoying.
This was a replacement device and I'm not sure if I remember this or not on my old device.
