Apr 29, 2015I often find myself waking out with a locked up phone. I use fingerprint and no matter how many times I reset my alternative password, it somehow magically changes and I cannot 'remember' it.
I used to lock my phone with android devide manager to fix this but now when i try to do so it says ''Since Google has confirmed that the screen lock is already set, entered password will not be required '' and now i cannot unlock my phone by entering a new password. I dont' want to do a factory reset, what is up with this?????
I really do not want to lose any of my data.

Aug 8, 2011I just purchase my sg2 phone yesterday. Unfortunately, my brother has used my phone last night and register the Samsung account in it by using his email or id. When I tried to change the account, it cannot be done cause I have to do the factory reset in privacy setting (which will erase all my personal info and downloaded applications). I don't want that to happen as well. Plus, my my brother can't even remember what the password he has used for the Samsung account I'm very pissed off now that my Samsung account belong to him and the fact that I can't do the factory reset because of him. I'll mention again, he forgot the password he used for MY SAMSUNG ACCOUNT IN MY SG2.

I can't find a way to get at the DNS setting. The only option that pops up is Forget Network.I want to set up my unrooted SII with a DNS from unotelly.com so that I can use their system to let me access Netflix USA from Canada. Although I can achieve access while at home merely by changing the DNS setting in my router, I'm not always on my home network and would like the SII to be able to access the unotelly DNS when I'm elsewhere.

To begin with I wasn't gettting any LED notification lights at all, so I installed Light Flow (and also tried Light Manager) and this allowed me to receive LED notifications for missed Calls, Text's, etc. But I'm unable to change the LED light colour to anything other than red using these APP's. How to get a different colour LED working for them or if it's a known quirk?
