Whenever I take a picture it saves to my cloud my email my Picasa everywhere how can I make it only save onto my phone and then if I want it to backup on the other accounts how can I manually do that? I'm tired of every picture I take save everywhere so then I have to go delete them all individually...

Here is my proplem. when i select the video icon (the one that looks like a film strip) and start playing the video plays but then after it is done it plays the next one right after the one i played.
Is there a way to change the settings so it plays only the video i select?
I am using navigation but not sure how to save the location for home or work...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have searched for Galaxy S6 GPS problems in google, and I have noticed that some owners experience a lot of signal loss/searching in their phones. What I have found annoying in my case is that whenever the GPS signal is lost, Google Maps puts me in a wrong location that I have not been to for a while. I have lived in that location before, but I have since moved and no longer stay there. I have purchased the phone after moving.
After a bit of experimenting I came to the conclusion that the building I currently live in blocks the GPS signal, since whenever I am in the balcony/near a window I get a signal and I'm put in the correct location in Google Maps. As soon as the signal is lost, Maps automatically puts me in that old location. This has also effected Google Now where I'm given incorrect travel times, but not my weather location (set on current).
I have set 'Home' to my new location, I have also tried deleting my location history from google, tried a few GPS fixing apps, reinstalling Maps, and also installing other map applications like Here and Waze, which behave the same way and give me the same old location as my current.
At first I thought it could be a GPS hardware defect in the galaxy, but I turned on my old HTC One (M8) and it acted and behaved in the same way putting me in my old location. So it seems to me there's something in the Android OS perhaps since Here and Waze act in the same way. I also tested with the Maps app on iPhone 6 and it gave the correct location although not 100% accurately. So is there anyway I can make Maps at least remember my last location before signal loss?
It is also absurd that my laptop can pinpoint my correct location while connected on Wifi while my phone with GPS, wifi and cell network cannot, which in conclusion seems like an android bug or something with location history in my google account which as I said already tried deleting the whole history.
Also note that the GPS and Maps work perfectly fine whenever I'm outside the building and I have location discovery on GPS, Wifi and cell network.
How can i change the text message settings from the bubble type it is now to the conventional type.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was trying to get this new Facebook Places working and did something that seemed to work for a few 8520 users - Update the OS through the Desktop Software. I updated to the latest one and when I go Options > Advanced Options > Location Settings (It used to be GPS Settings or something similar, not Location Settings) I used to get GPS none and be able to switch my Location Services off and on. Since updating, I only get GPS none and Location Services off, no option to change either.
BB Maps used to find my location fine, Foursquare was good at finding very nearby locations so it must work using something other than GPS. I've updated everything only to try and get bloody FB Places working and it's not even worth it, I can't even use BB Maps now!I've tried re-installing maps and Foursquare but neither can find my location anymore so I believe it was something to do with the update.

Is there a way to DEFINITIVELY LOCK the phone to not change anything unless I do it? I click the power button to lock the screen every time I put it in my pocket, but it seems every day it finds something to change that I didn't want. One time it changed the language to Vietnamese. Try fixing your settings when everything is in a foreign language. This phone sucks!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI often find myself waking out with a locked up phone. I use fingerprint and no matter how many times I reset my alternative password, it somehow magically changes and I cannot 'remember' it.
I used to lock my phone with android devide manager to fix this but now when i try to do so it says ''Since Google has confirmed that the screen lock is already set, entered password will not be required '' and now i cannot unlock my phone by entering a new password. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an Sii gt-i9100g running ICS 4.03 (non-rooted). Recently I've been getting an error when applications try to update: "Application cannot be installed in the default install location".
So I checked my phone storage.
phone memory: 1.97Gb
Applications: 647mb
Free: 247mb
USB storage has about 10.5Gb available.
I uninstalled a few applications I didn't need on a regular basis and then the phone was able to update the installed applications successfully. I went in to application management and there's no option to move the installed applications to USB storage (I don't have an external SD card). So this raises a few concerns:
1: How come there's a mystery 1.1 gigabytes that isn't accounted for in the phone storage? I thought all of Android ICS was stored in that missing 4GB of USB storage memory...
2: If the phone doesn't allow further installations to phone memory when there's only about 200mb available, and if the phone has reserved 1.1 gigabytes for some hidden purpose, then is it true that without buying an SD card, we only really have about 700MB available for applications?!
3: Why isn't the option to move applications to USB storage available under ICS? I believe this was available in Gingerbread.
I'm new to the SII, but if its the case that this supposedly 16GB device only truly has 700MB available for apps without an External SD card, then I'm gonna be pretty angry.
Since I upgraded to ICS when I take a photo it will not save to the gallery. The photo is captured but when I touch the picture it displays the message �No items�. I have tried switching between saving photos to the Phone and Memory Card to no avail. My Picture Gallery, just shows the pictures from my Google+ account and Drop Box not those I�ve taken. I am on Three in the UK with the latest firmware version:

View 1 Replies View Relatedi am using fw 2.3.5 on my phone which had been updated through kies a while back. one thing that it annoying me a little is the applications and when i arrange them how i want they change when i reboot.
most pages stay correct but the main page 1 keeps changing from how i set it on rebooting.
I am connecting successfully to my pop email account, and am able to send/retrieve without issue. However, as soon as I pull email from the pop account on my home computer, I lose all of the messages on my phone. Isn't there a way to download messages onto my phone and keep them? I don't see an option to flag or save individual messages, or to move them to a folder.

However my phone is no longer allowing me to download anything! I do what I have always done, I hold down on the image until my phone asks if I want to save it,I hit save, and it says the image is downloading. But when I go to my downloads it says image has failed to download...
I thought maybe it was just from a certain site that my images wouldn't download. But every site I go to the download is failing. Then I thought perhaps somehow I used up my memory.
