First, I have Haptic Feeback turned off in Settings > Sound, but it still vibrates when I tap any of the four soft buttons above the keyboard. Is there any way to turn that off?Second, having had a Admiral before the Xprt, I loved the blue colors included in the interface. The Xprt uses a lot of red, which signifies "trouble" when I see it. Any way to change this red color so it does not appear on menu selections, buttons, etc.
Is there any information about haptic feedback (vibration) signals on the Droid 4? I have noticed sometimes after adjusting the volume with the side-mounted rocker buttons that I will sometimes experience a double (short) vibrate or a longer vibrate, but it doesn't seem to happen all the time. I have also experienced these feedback signals at other times, and can't figure out what is triggering them or what they are meant to indicate. They don't seem related to notifications or other obvious indications.
Just updated to 2.2.2 (CEE) and everything works fine. Thanks guys from Motorola. I have only two questions:1) How can I disable haptic feedback on buttons under the LCD? In settings I have already disabled it, same problem I had on 2.1? Is there any possibility to hide email contacts from all contacts? For example something like "hide all contacts without phone number" like it was on my previous Android phone?
Starting about 2 days ago, the haptic feedback has been randomly turning off. It started after I installed Clean Master. I uninstalled the app to see if that was the cause, but it is the still doing it. It will sometimes come back on its own. And it will come back after a restart. Is there anything else I might try before I do a factory reset?
So you all know, with 2.1 you now CANNOT turn off haptic feedback (VIBRATION) for neither the lock screen nor the dial pad! Took sony so many months to release this update and still they managed to ***** it up!X10a with official Rogers 2.1 firmware.
After charging my phone last night , whenever i type anything on the keyboard i get haptic feedback , even though it has been turned off in settings . Why this might have happened and how to get rid of this ?
Recently I have noticed that my g3 will randomly stop vibrating on tap (haptic feedback) and also at other times stop vibrating when New messages come in. I have already confirmed settings are set correctly and that the vibrate power is turned all the way up. If I soft reset the phone it fixes it. I am assuming this is a software problem bc it can vibrate so that's not hardware right? I have read that others have experienced it but not recently... I am not rooted and I am on a Verizon g3... I already hard reset the phone and it happened again...
My phone is Neo V, I have just upgrade to 4.0.2.A.0.62 and found that cannot disable function Haptic feedback (Vibrate when pressing soft keys and on certain UI interactions). This function is fail, when i touch any number to dial or edit message, the phone vibrate, cannot disable it.
I just received my S6 a few days ago (T-mobile variant). Got the latest update, factory reset it. Lately I've been having some issues with the haptic feedback and vibration when typing or receiving notifications. The haptic feedback when typing will suddenly be really unnoticeable or completely gone. I checked my settings in both keyboard settings and the Vibration settings under notifications and made sure I didn't accidentally lower the intensity. When I adjust the sliders, I can tell that the vibration is considerably less stronger than before.
Under Settings/Sound, I have Vibrate on touch checked. I use SwiftKey and under those settings I also have it checked to vibrate on keyless but still nothing. I tried using the stock keyboard in case it's a SwiftKey issue but that doesn't vibrate either.
I just realized the phone doesn't vibrate at all, even for calls. When I set the ringer to vibrate, it's just quiet. Guess it's a hardware issue.
how to turn ON haptic feedback for google keyboard...In google keyboard settings I have "vibrate on keypress" turned ON, and also "keyboard vibration" turned ON in regular settings...But still, no vibration when typing.
I've checked every menu multiple times and can't find any way to stop the annoying "buzz" every time I press the 3 touch keys at the bottom.
I found the "touch" menu that says it should have these settings, but nothing in there about this. I did find a few old posts going back about a year for other WP phones having this "issue."
i was wondeing if anyone could me with the haptic ( tactil) feedback for the security lock and keyboard, ive went into settings and turned both on, and still.
I'm unable to stop Haptic feedback(Vibrate) while typing text. I have tried with Menu > Settings > Sound > Haptic feedback(De-select). But still it vibrating while typing.
Is there a way to adjust/add to the auto-correct dictionary for the physical keyboard of the XPRT? On my SOLD BB9650, this was done the first time I picked up the phone. Now, I can't. This phone (while waiting for Gingerbread), would be THE BEST, if it could fix this little problem...
What are the plans for future software updates for XPRT?Is Gingerbread going to be the last one? Any chance for 4.x?Because, see, as of today XPRT is lagging behind for like a year on Android updates. It was released (June 6, 2011) with outdated FroYo (released May 20, 2010).Now, if stars align, we'll get GB 2.3.5 update (released July 25, 2011) hopefully in August '12.And that also means that phone that's been out only for a year is already 2 major Android versions behind current one.
I can't seem to get my phone to vibrate. I set to "vibrate when in silent mode", then set to silent mode, but no vibration. I have also set vibration to "alwasy" but still nothing.
The phone is super fast which is great. As the software got upgraded over the last two years on my D1 it became so slow. Email and Web are great. I know many people complained about lack of LTE but honestly Wifi is so much faster and I am pretty much always within range of a network. I have only used the phone for a little while so far but generally I am very happy about the upgrade. I love the 5th row numbers. It was so annoying ALTing to numbers on the D1. I like the arrow keys and Okay button. It is a good swap from the directional button on the D1 while allowing the keyboard to be bigger.
What I don't like: (Mostly Minor Annoyances, Hoping someone has app suggestions from the market)Lack of Camera Button. Not a huge deal breaker but was always handy to launch the app on take pictures. No Browser Button on the home screen like the D1 had. Instead a Camera button. Would be nice if you could configure those software buttons that show up on every home screen. I would rather have the browser on every screen and the camera button on one screen only etc. Can this be configured?Lack of Picture Frame Widget. I am sure there is one on the App store but it seems odd that a feature built into an older phone is removed. Any suggestions for a basic widget that can show a single picture?Tasks app does not seem to sync online with google tasks. On my D1 I made a shortcut on the desktop to go directly to the online tasks page and the icon even looked like a task icon with a checkmark. I made the same link on the D3 and it is a generic bookmark icon. Can icons to pages be set somehow?SMS App is pretty awful in my opinion. I much prefered the D1 SMS app. I send tons of texts messages. Texting is the main reason I wanted a phone with a keyboard. I am not sure if this is an android thing or a moto thing. I would gladly go complain to google about it if someone points me in the right direction.
1. Chat Bubbles. I hate them. I much prefer the old style. The bubbles seem to have a minimum size regardless of how much text appears in them.It can be only one word but it still takes up the same amount of space. On the D1 I could see three messages at a time when holding the phone sideways with the keyboard extended. With the new app you can only see two messages even though the screen rez is bigger. It is pretty common for messages to scroll off the top of the screen while composing my own messages. The bubbles need to scale to be smaller with less text.
2. Enter/Return makes a new line instead of sending the message. Seems like the only way to send the message is to touch the send button or use the arrow key to move to send then click enter.
Ive used android since the original G1 and owned many hand sets, but this XOOM is my first tablet. Now im sure I must be going stupid, but how do you give app feedback within the market app? I just cannot fathom out how to do it!
This is my first day using Motoactv, and I have a couple of issues I hope can be solved. First, does the motoactv have a audible feedback feature when you reach desired miles (example if i wanted to be reminded that i have reached .25 miles or 1 mile, i would get audio feedback while running with headphones.) Currently my music went low so that let me know, but it would be cool if a audio would let you know. (My Nike+ GPS App on my phone has this feature
When I have my Bionic set to CDMA/LTE and I am around an external pair of speakers i.e computer speakers, stereo spakers, or even my alarm clock I get very loud audio distortion and feedback from the speakers, and it changes depending on where I am in relation to the speakers. When I am on CDMA only there is no distortion? and NOT netflix...
im trying to figure out whats wrong with my photon, its been almost a month and when i get a notification (email, text, ect) i dont find out untill hours after i recived it because my phone doesnt vibrate. So I have a T-Mobile SIM (SIM slot 1) and an AT&T SIM (SIM slot 2) in my 950XL. In the T-Mobile Messaging app, the text is in blue. In the AT&T Messaging app, the text in purple. I want to change the text color in each app but I haven't found a way to do so.
