After charging my phone last night , whenever i type anything on the keyboard i get haptic feedback , even though it has been turned off in settings . Why this might have happened and how to get rid of this ?
View 1 RepliesStarting about 2 days ago, the haptic feedback has been randomly turning off. It started after I installed Clean Master. I uninstalled the app to see if that was the cause, but it is the still doing it. It will sometimes come back on its own. And it will come back after a restart. Is there anything else I might try before I do a factory reset?

View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently I have noticed that my g3 will randomly stop vibrating on tap (haptic feedback) and also at other times stop vibrating when New messages come in. I have already confirmed settings are set correctly and that the vibrate power is turned all the way up. If I soft reset the phone it fixes it. I am assuming this is a software problem bc it can vibrate so that's not hardware right? I have read that others have experienced it but not recently... I am not rooted and I am on a Verizon g3... I already hard reset the phone and it happened again...

Is there any way to turn that off?Second, having had a Admiral before the Xprt, I loved the blue colors included in the interface. The Xprt uses a lot of red, which signifies "trouble" when I see it. Any way to change this red color so it does not appear on menu selections, buttons, etc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just received my S6 a few days ago (T-mobile variant). Got the latest update, factory reset it. Lately I've been having some issues with the haptic feedback and vibration when typing or receiving notifications. The haptic feedback when typing will suddenly be really unnoticeable or completely gone. I checked my settings in both keyboard settings and the Vibration settings under notifications and made sure I didn't accidentally lower the intensity. When I adjust the sliders, I can tell that the vibration is considerably less stronger than before.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUnder Settings/Sound, I have Vibrate on touch checked. I use SwiftKey and under those settings I also have it checked to vibrate on keyless but still nothing. I tried using the stock keyboard in case it's a SwiftKey issue but that doesn't vibrate either.
I just realized the phone doesn't vibrate at all, even for calls. When I set the ringer to vibrate, it's just quiet. Guess it's a hardware issue.
Is there any way to turn off the haptic feedback on the keyboard? On 2014 moto x running android 6.0?

I have noticed sometimes after adjusting the volume with the side-mounted rocker buttons that I will sometimes experience a double (short) vibrate or a longer vibrate, but it doesn't seem to happen all the time. I have also experienced these feedback signals at other times, and can't figure out what is triggering them or what they are meant to indicate. They don't seem related to notifications or other obvious indications.

A prompt came up (can't remember the exact wording) saying there was a problem with two buttons. One button was to uninstall and the other was to take you to the store entry for this item. The text of the prompt suggested going to the store and trying to install again. If that failed it indicated to select uninstall and then reinstall the 'app' (really a setting option). If I picked the store button the only option I had was to share this app. So I went back to settings and selected the uninstall button. But now I can't find the 'feedback to nokia' when searching the store. So I was wondering how I can reinstall this item under settings.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHave a BB curve 9300 3g, software ver 6. on a payg contract with Tesco. It worked fine until this morning when I noticed it was rebooting (the same as a battery pull) constantly. It would boot, update security and reboot again. Finally managed to switch off wifi and mobile network to see if this made a difference and the rebooting stopped. I've since switched on wifi, and this is fine.
But as soon as the mobile network is turned on it will try to obtain a signal and within 2 or 3 seconds will start rebooting again. I've tried it with different battery, different sim, with and without microsd card, deleting all apps, upgrading software to latest version etc etc but nothing works. Right now I have a mobile phone which is of no use as it cannot receive a mobile signal.
I leave my WiFi constantly turned on on my phone. I use WiFi at home and work so it will automatically connect when I'm in those 2 places, but anywhere else it isn't connected. Is it still using battery even if its not connected? Does it search for a connection when its not connected, sort of like the radios searching for a cellular signal?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThis afternoon, randomly, the headset icon appeared in my taskbar on my HTC Hero. I'm running the latest software. It obviously means I can't hear anyone who calls nor can they hear me. I've had a look online and the general consensus was to download an app called Toogle Headset. I found Toggle Headset 2 and downloaded it (and paid for it). I've added it to my homescreen as told and the little box shows up with the 'on' green status but pressing it doesn't set the headset status to off. In fact tapping it doesn't seem to do anything. Is there another way to toggle off the headset setting or am I doing something wrong with the Toggle Headset app?

Downloaded the Verizon update. Turned on wifi Calling in settings. Place a call and when the person answers the wifi symbol appears in the upper left of the connection screen. Neither party can hear the other, and the phone disconnects after about 10 seconds..

Once or twice a month, when I unlock my phone I have the white apple with the progress bar below it out of nowhere. All my settings are turned back to factory defaults. Did the full restore and all but sooner or latter it does it again.

A slight, yet audible popping sound that you can occassionally hear when using the phone with haptic vibration turned on and in quiet environments. It goes away completely when I disable haptic vibration feedback. It's not a big problem, just a minor annoyance. Still, disappointing considering the price of the phone.
