I've checked every menu multiple times and can't find any way to stop the annoying "buzz" every time I press the 3 touch keys at the bottom.
I found the "touch" menu that says it should have these settings, but nothing in there about this. I did find a few old posts going back about a year for other WP phones having this "issue."
So you all know, with 2.1 you now CANNOT turn off haptic feedback (VIBRATION) for neither the lock screen nor the dial pad! Took sony so many months to release this update and still they managed to ***** it up!X10a with official Rogers 2.1 firmware.

I replaced my lcd panel today on my 1520, and I noticed that the keys weren't vibrating. So I went back to the settings to check if I had it was turned on, and it was. Is the lcd panel to blame, or it something else?

View 3 Replies View RelatedStarting about 2 days ago, the haptic feedback has been randomly turning off. It started after I installed Clean Master. I uninstalled the app to see if that was the cause, but it is the still doing it. It will sometimes come back on its own. And it will come back after a restart. Is there anything else I might try before I do a factory reset?

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently I have noticed that my g3 will randomly stop vibrating on tap (haptic feedback) and also at other times stop vibrating when New messages come in. I have already confirmed settings are set correctly and that the vibrate power is turned all the way up. If I soft reset the phone it fixes it. I am assuming this is a software problem bc it can vibrate so that's not hardware right? I have read that others have experienced it but not recently... I am not rooted and I am on a Verizon g3... I already hard reset the phone and it happened again...

Is there any way to turn that off?Second, having had a Admiral before the Xprt, I loved the blue colors included in the interface. The Xprt uses a lot of red, which signifies "trouble" when I see it. View 3 Replies View RelatedI just received my S6 a few days ago (T-mobile variant). Got the latest update, factory reset it. Lately I've been having some issues with the haptic feedback and vibration when typing or receiving notifications. The haptic feedback when typing will suddenly be really unnoticeable or completely gone. I checked my settings in both keyboard settings and the Vibration settings under notifications and made sure I didn't accidentally lower the intensity. When I adjust the sliders, I can tell that the vibration is considerably less stronger than before.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUnder Settings/Sound, I have Vibrate on touch checked. I use SwiftKey and under those settings I also have it checked to vibrate on keyless but still nothing. I tried using the stock keyboard in case it's a SwiftKey issue but that doesn't vibrate either.
I just realized the phone doesn't vibrate at all, even for calls. When I set the ringer to vibrate, it's just quiet. Guess it's a hardware issue.
I know this is possible. I had it working before and forgot the steps.

I have noticed sometimes after adjusting the volume with the side-mounted rocker buttons that I will sometimes experience a double (short) vibrate or a longer vibrate, but it doesn't seem to happen all the time. I have also experienced these feedback signals at other times, and can't figure out what is triggering them or what they are meant to indicate. They don't seem related to notifications or other obvious indications.

But I've noticed that the navigation keys on my 1520 do not light up from the beginning. If I was more careful I could ask the seller right away, but I didn't notice it at the time.. The capacitive keys at the bottom are much brighter than before denim. View 1 Replies View RelatedToday my phone's screen suddenly went unresponsive to touch. As of now, touching it doesn't do anything, so the phone is inoperable. This did not occur as the result of a drop or other abuse. However, I have seen the numerous "ghost swipe" posts, and I will admit that I always carry my phone in my front pocket, face down. However I put my phone on a flat surface and it didn't seem to be bent.
The interesting thing is that sometimes, touching the upper left hand corner of the screen will issue a vibration just like the one you get from pressing the capacitive buttons on the bottom. And 3 times I have actually opened Cortana from pressing and holding near the top left corner of the phone, above the LCD. I've attached a picture where I have highlighted the places where touching the corner can issue a vibration - the blue area provokes the vibration and the yellow dot is where I've managed to open Cortana.
All of the other buttons on the sides work fine, I've done many soft resets but I'm reluctant to do a hard one. Right now I'm probably just going to get the screen replaced or something, or do you think that the screen's not the problem?
Not sure if I have a hardware or software issue. I just updated my 1520 to Windows 10 (build 10586.29).
The touch screen will randomly stop working. I'll be trying to scroll, open an app, etc. Nothing. I have to reboot the entire phone. I also get random ghost touch issues.
None of this was happening on Windows 8.1. However, I have only had the phone for two days. Used 8.1 for one day and have been using 10 today. That is why I am unsure if this is an OS issue or a hardware defect.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSeveral times per day, my screen just stops working. The LCD portion of the screen still turns on and off, but it won't recognize any touches. The only way out is a soft reset, since I can't swipe down to turn the phone off, then it works again. I have the Windows 10 preview installed, if that matters.
I'm thinking that it's a hardware issue, but I'm not 100% on that, since a soft reset temporarily solves the problem.
I also tried a hard reset and that had me hopeful, because it worked most of the day, then the issue returned in the evening.
My lumia 1520 getting hanged & touch sensor not working some times & its i pushed lock button and relock again then its work i have resets many times restores many times & the NOKIA CARE SUITE not working with lumia 1520 have any other software which can work with lumia 1520..

I tried to plug it up to my computer but I got nothing there either. I am getting no indication that its charging and I'm starting to think I'm out of options. Is there anything else I can try? This just basically happened out of the blue, I turned it off and now it doesn't want to come back on at all...
