I found the "touch" menu that says it should have these settings, but nothing in there about this. I did find a few old posts going back about a year for other WP phones having this "issue."

HTC One M8 :: Haptic Feedback Randomly Turning Off

Is there anything else I might try before I do a factory reset?

LG G3 :: Randomly Won't Vibrate For Messages Or Haptic Feedback?

Mar 10, 2015

Recently I have noticed that my g3 will randomly stop vibrating on tap (haptic feedback) and also at other times stop vibrating when New messages come in. I have already confirmed settings are set correctly and that the vibrate power is turned all the way up. If I soft reset the phone it fixes it. I am assuming this is a software problem bc it can vibrate so that's not hardware right? I have read that others have experienced it but not recently... I am not rooted and I am on a Verizon g3... I already hard reset the phone and it happened again...

Any way to change this red color so it does not appear on menu selections, buttons, etc.

Galaxy S6 :: Inconsistent Vibration / Haptic Feedback

Apr 15, 2015

I just received my S6 a few days ago (T-mobile variant). Got the latest update, factory reset it. Lately I've been having some issues with the haptic feedback and vibration when typing or receiving notifications. The haptic feedback when typing will suddenly be really unnoticeable or completely gone. I checked my settings in both keyboard settings and the Vibration settings under notifications and made sure I didn't accidentally lower the intensity. When I adjust the sliders, I can tell that the vibration is considerably less stronger than before.

Google Nexus 5 :: Do Not Have Any Haptic Feedback / Keyboard Vibration

Dec 10, 2013

Under Settings/Sound, I have Vibrate on touch checked. I use SwiftKey and under those settings I also have it checked to vibrate on keyless but still nothing. I tried using the stock keyboard in case it's a SwiftKey issue but that doesn't vibrate either.

I just realized the phone doesn't vibrate at all, even for calls. When I set the ringer to vibrate, it's just quiet. Guess it's a hardware issue.

Is there any information about haptic feedback (vibration) signals on the Droid 4? I have also experienced these feedback signals at other times, and can't figure out what is triggering them or what they are meant to indicate. They don't seem related to notifications or other obvious indications.

A slight, yet audible popping sound that you can occassionally hear when using the phone with haptic vibration turned on and in quiet environments. Xperia Mini/pro :: Update 2.3.4 -- Missing Elements/Feedback?

Nov 7, 2011

I recently updated my xperia mini pro to android 2.3.4. The new features like video on Gtalk, 3D panaromic camera, swype, etc. are welcome changes. But what disappoints me is that one essential thing is still missing, a smart dialer. Yes, I can pick one from the market, lots available for free, but none will blend in with the default theme of the phone. So SE please think on providing this.Another thing is the missing animations. SE stands out for style but again two really nice animations are removed. One is the CRT like animation you get when the screen is turned off on hitting the power button. Second one is when you open the SMS app.

2) Deselecting show rroe keys"and "Trace keyboard".

3) Reset device (only soft reset) - I don't want to reset it to factory settings.

Motorola :: Upgrading From OG Droid To D3 Feedback

Jul 9, 2011

The phone is super fast which is great. As the software got upgraded over the last two years on my D1 it became so slow. Email and Web are great. I know many people complained about lack of LTE but honestly Wifi is so much faster and I am pretty much always within range of a network. I have only used the phone for a little while so far but generally I am very happy about the upgrade. I love the 5th row numbers. It was so annoying ALTing to numbers on the D1. I like the arrow keys and Okay button. It is a good swap from the directional button on the D1 while allowing the keyboard to be bigger.

What I don't like: (Mostly Minor Annoyances, Hoping someone has app suggestions from the market)Lack of Camera Button. Not a huge deal breaker but was always handy to launch the app on take pictures. No Browser Button on the home screen like the D1 had. Instead a Camera button. Would be nice if you could configure those software buttons that show up on every home screen. I would rather have the browser on every screen and the camera button on one screen only etc. Can this be configured?Lack of Picture Frame Widget. I am sure there is one on the App store but it seems odd that a feature built into an older phone is removed. Any suggestions for a basic widget that can show a single picture?Tasks app does not seem to sync online with google tasks. On my D1 I made a shortcut on the desktop to go directly to the online tasks page and the icon even looked like a task icon with a checkmark. I made the same link on the D3 and it is a generic bookmark icon. Can icons to pages be set somehow?SMS App is pretty awful in my opinion. I much prefered the D1 SMS app. I send tons of texts messages. Texting is the main reason I wanted a phone with a keyboard. I am not sure if this is an android thing or a moto thing. I would gladly go complain to google about it if someone points me in the right direction.

1. Chat Bubbles. I hate them. I much prefer the old style. The bubbles seem to have a minimum size regardless of how much text appears in them.It can be only one word but it still takes up the same amount of space. On the D1 I could see three messages at a time when holding the phone sideways with the keyboard extended. With the new app you can only see two messages even though the screen rez is bigger. It is pretty common for messages to scroll off the top of the screen while composing my own messages. The bubbles need to scale to be smaller with less text.

2. Enter/Return makes a new line instead of sending the message. Seems like the only way to send the message is to touch the send button or use the arrow key to move to send then click enter.

Xseries :: X3-02 Audio Feedback Noise After Update?

Feb 17, 2012

Just updated my x3-02 firmware to 7.16(Ok, Nokia suite couldn't restore settings, but thats not the problem)Every phone call, since the update, I can hear myself when i speak. This is NOT the delay you have with some providers. The problem becomes very annoying if there is a strong ambiant noise. For example I recently had a phone call while watching tv.I could hear the tv in my ear, it was coming through the microphone of the phone. But as I have it loud, this sound goes back through the microphone, creating a loop. and giving a strong high feedback sound. (this stops when i go into a silent room)(its like in the radio, when the radiostation calls someone on the phone and they dont turn the volume of their radio down)No, I am not using handsfree or speaker mode. Just plain phone call, the phone on my ear.Normally ( it was like that before) I could NOT hear what was going into the mike, only the person on the other end of the line should be able to hear it.

PS: it has nothing to do with the provider, as my other Phones work perfectly with the same sim card.(I use the x3-02 in the office as it is very small and fits into the breast-pocket of my suit.)

BB Curve 8300 :: Feedback Error During Calls

Jan 26, 2010

I've been experiencing the following issue on my Verizon Curve 8330 for approximately the past 2 weeks, ever since I upgraded from 4.5.0.138. I'm currently running 4.5.0.175 (Platform 3.4.0.55).In approximately 80% of the calls I make or receive, I get a very sharp, very loud feedback noise in the call. This occurs if I am using the handset, the speakerphone, or a Bluetooth headset (Plantronics Voyager 520). Callers have not complained about hearing the same noise so I believe it is just on my side. The noise can happen at any point during the call and often occurs in bursts - say, 2 or three "chirps" in the span of a couple of seconds. I've wiped the handset completely twice and clean-installed 4.5.0.175 from a local copy. It has had zero effect on the issue.Any suggestions?
