LG G3 :: Randomly Won't Vibrate For Messages Or Haptic Feedback?
Mar 10, 2015
Recently I have noticed that my g3 will randomly stop vibrating on tap (haptic feedback) and also at other times stop vibrating when New messages come in. I have already confirmed settings are set correctly and that the vibrate power is turned all the way up. If I soft reset the phone it fixes it. I am assuming this is a software problem bc it can vibrate so that's not hardware right? I have read that others have experienced it but not recently... I am not rooted and I am on a Verizon g3... I already hard reset the phone and it happened again...
Starting about 2 days ago, the haptic feedback has been randomly turning off. It started after I installed Clean Master. I uninstalled the app to see if that was the cause, but it is the still doing it. It will sometimes come back on its own. And it will come back after a restart. Is there anything else I might try before I do a factory reset?
I'm unable to stop Haptic feedback(Vibrate) while typing text. I have tried with Menu > Settings > Sound > Haptic feedback(De-select). But still it vibrating while typing.
So you all know, with 2.1 you now CANNOT turn off haptic feedback (VIBRATION) for neither the lock screen nor the dial pad! Took sony so many months to release this update and still they managed to ***** it up!X10a with official Rogers 2.1 firmware.
After charging my phone last night , whenever i type anything on the keyboard i get haptic feedback , even though it has been turned off in settings . Why this might have happened and how to get rid of this ?
My phone is Neo V, I have just upgrade to 4.0.2.A.0.62 and found that cannot disable function Haptic feedback (Vibrate when pressing soft keys and on certain UI interactions). This function is fail, when i touch any number to dial or edit message, the phone vibrate, cannot disable it.
First, I have Haptic Feeback turned off in Settings > Sound, but it still vibrates when I tap any of the four soft buttons above the keyboard. Is there any way to turn that off?Second, having had a Admiral before the Xprt, I loved the blue colors included in the interface. The Xprt uses a lot of red, which signifies "trouble" when I see it. Any way to change this red color so it does not appear on menu selections, buttons, etc.
I just received my S6 a few days ago (T-mobile variant). Got the latest update, factory reset it. Lately I've been having some issues with the haptic feedback and vibration when typing or receiving notifications. The haptic feedback when typing will suddenly be really unnoticeable or completely gone. I checked my settings in both keyboard settings and the Vibration settings under notifications and made sure I didn't accidentally lower the intensity. When I adjust the sliders, I can tell that the vibration is considerably less stronger than before.
Under Settings/Sound, I have Vibrate on touch checked. I use SwiftKey and under those settings I also have it checked to vibrate on keyless but still nothing. I tried using the stock keyboard in case it's a SwiftKey issue but that doesn't vibrate either.
I just realized the phone doesn't vibrate at all, even for calls. When I set the ringer to vibrate, it's just quiet. Guess it's a hardware issue.
how to turn ON haptic feedback for google keyboard...In google keyboard settings I have "vibrate on keypress" turned ON, and also "keyboard vibration" turned ON in regular settings...But still, no vibration when typing.
Is there any information about haptic feedback (vibration) signals on the Droid 4? I have noticed sometimes after adjusting the volume with the side-mounted rocker buttons that I will sometimes experience a double (short) vibrate or a longer vibrate, but it doesn't seem to happen all the time. I have also experienced these feedback signals at other times, and can't figure out what is triggering them or what they are meant to indicate. They don't seem related to notifications or other obvious indications.
I've checked every menu multiple times and can't find any way to stop the annoying "buzz" every time I press the 3 touch keys at the bottom.
I found the "touch" menu that says it should have these settings, but nothing in there about this. I did find a few old posts going back about a year for other WP phones having this "issue."
i was wondeing if anyone could me with the haptic ( tactil) feedback for the security lock and keyboard, ive went into settings and turned both on, and still.
Just updated to 2.2.2 (CEE) and everything works fine. Thanks guys from Motorola. I have only two questions:1) How can I disable haptic feedback on buttons under the LCD? In settings I have already disabled it, same problem I had on 2.1? Is there any possibility to hide email contacts from all contacts? For example something like "hide all contacts without phone number" like it was on my previous Android phone?
im trying to figure out whats wrong with my photon, its been almost a month and when i get a notification (email, text, ect) i dont find out untill hours after i recived it because my phone doesnt vibrate. It vibrates when i get a call and when im using the keyboard but not when i get a notification. I have the vibration for notifications turned on but it doesnt seem to affect anything. I dont get any notification vibration feedback when my phones on vibrate or its on sound.
I just got an LG G3 last Friday and I've noticed twice now that it has randomly vibrated in succession- with no notifications. It doesn't happen often enough to diagnose the problem myself, so I tried to find something on it but nothing worked. My phone is always on 'Vibrate', but the problem is that no notifications show up. The last two times it has done this, it's been on low-ish battery (30s-40s), but not low enough to get the battery saver notification. I also know it isn't "phantom vibrating" or whatever, because I can hear it vibrate on my desk (out of pocket).
My phone randomly starts vibrating and the screen goes unresponsive. I read a post that said to reboot it by pressing the home button and power button at the same time. That stopeed the vibrating and the screen came back on. Is there anything else I should do? Any way to keep this from happening in the future?
WhataApp: Vibrate is turned off in the app for group messages and only turned on for private messages, but the phone vibrates for all messages when the phone is on vibrate. Before, in vibrate mode, the phone only would vibrate for private messages.
Text message: Use to vibrate twice to differentiate text from other notifications, but now only vibrates once like all other notifications.
I just got a new iPhone 16GB white, and I turned off the ringtone for text messages; however it won't vibrate now despite the vibrate being on unless I text myself
I just received this phone today and I cannot figure out how to make the phone vibrate when I receive text messages. It is on Vibrate only mode and it still does not vibrate when I receive them. If I take it off vibrate only mode it makes a sounds when I do receive them. how do I set it to vibrate when I do receive text messages?
I have had this phone for 2 days and now suddenly there is no ton or vibration whenever any messages are received. My tone profile is on 'Normal' and the settings are set for it to Vibrate + Tone whenever all messages are received. It was working fine yesterday!
