I've noticed an interesting bug (feature?) with my X2. When web browsing, the color temperature of the screen will change every couple of minutes between a blueish hue and an orange one. Is this related to auto-brightness or is it a defect?
View 4 RepliesMy daughter (an iPhone 4 user) glanced at my Atrix while i was playing Angry Birds and asked why everything was so brown. She then compared her screen to mine and I was astounded at how poorly yellows are rendered on my phone! I then comparedit to my son's Samsung Captivate, with similar results. Color rendition on the Atrix is really off.Is there a way to make the color temperature cooler on the Atrix, or to completely recallibrate the display? Now that I've seen the difference, it's hard not to see problems in the display all the time. Any chance that a future update will fix the display driver to be more balanced?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI guess after the update it has decided it won't post the correct temp in the taskbar.. I cleared the cache in the app.. The only way it shows the correct temp is to reboot the Xoom.. I open weather bug and the temperature is right but isn't what shows in the taskbar nor does it update it in the taskbar.

Notto the point where it hurt or anything, but definitely very warm. My question is, what is a normal operating temperature for the xoom say when browsing a via tabs and maybe running a game or two? View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought the motoActv golf version about a week ago. Worked fine the first day, but the second day I turned it on and had no color in the background. It was in black and white. I can see things somewhat ok, but its frustrating when it has no color. Somedays I turn it on and its fine. Monday I used it on my bike and was great. Yesterday and Wednesday it had no color to it. I played around with it last night and it somehow had color, turned it on this morning and there is no color. Brightness is all the way up and it is charged as well.

Is there any way to turn that off?Second, having had a Admiral before the Xprt, I loved the blue colors included in the interface. The Xprt uses a lot of red, which signifies "trouble" when I see it. View 3 Replies View RelatedI performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. This is minor, but annoying that my phone is behaving differently than it should. I am running 2.3.4 and have tried multiple resets (full resets removing all data and media)
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had two Atrix phones since March of this year. The first one was replaced for an issue unrelated to the topic of this post. Both of these devices demonstrated the following behavior:
Approximately every 15 to 25 power cycles, when the Motorola logo starts to animate the phone's LED will begin to blink in one of several colors. It stops blinking when the Motorola logo disappears. The blinking color is most often violet-purple. However, on at least three occasions I've seen it blink light blue and on one occasion it was blinking red.
The blinking LED at this stage of system initialization appears to be a color coded reporting mechanism to indicate a particular state of the phone (perhaps a failure code reporting feature). I'm guessing it's similar to the POST beep codes that a personal computer emits shortly after powered on to indicate such things as device failures, driver loading issues, or configuration problems.
I would like to know what these colors mean during this stage of the phone's booting process. That is, when I see the flashing LED during the Motorola logo animation, I want to know which part of the system is failing. There's no information on the web (including within this forum) that I've been able to locate on this and Motorola technical phone support personnel seem oblivious to the fact that this blinking color reporting even exists.
how to learn what these codes mean? As I've mentioned, both of my Atrix phones have demonstrated this behavior, so I presume all Atrix phones are equipped to demonstrate it as well under certain conditions. It's hard to imagine that Motorola engineers would have implemented a feature like this and then provided no information to anyone about what the color codes mean to make the feature useful.

I understand the main option to do that is changing the temperature control using developer codes. (the other option of changing to ART isnt available to me since i understand my phone already runs it).
The question is, i assume changing temp controls voids the warranty, and im not keen on doing this.
Recently bought a galaxy s6, and I see that the ram memory consumption is quite high, it remains only a 400/500 mb for use, it is normal? And when I play a game that needs a lot of processor, it reaches 72 temperature. It is normal?

Today my iPhone 4 showed 'TEMPERATURE' - iPhone needs to cool down due to temperature. Anyone experiences this issue? I have the full BodyGuardz skin applied on it and was just using it as normal with email checking, web browsing, GPS with Copilot, but my phone was not used when I got a weird noise with the temperatue warning. I was inside my house with AC set at 76 degree when this happened. The phone did not feel warm at all. Please see attachment.

As the title says, on LG G3 I used CPU Temp app but it doesn't support Nexus 6P (it only gives estimated reading). I tried many apps and none of them works except for CPU Z but this one gives me like 15 different temperature readings and doesn't say what is what.

Have tried plugging n at different places tried portable charger, tried thru usb to computer. Just shows batteru at 39% and a thermometer with the red area partially up. and displays message battery temp too low to charge.
