Motorola Motoactv :: Why Does Background Have No Color

I bought the motoActv golf version about a week ago. Worked fine the first day, but the second day I turned it on and had no color in the background. It was in black and white. I can see things somewhat ok, but its frustrating when it has no color. Somedays I turn it on and its fine. Monday I used it on my bike and was great. Yesterday and Wednesday it had no color to it. I played around with it last night and it somehow had color, turned it on this morning and there is no color. Brightness is all the way up and it is charged as well.
I have Cincinnati Bell Service, Milestone XT720 Phone. I am trying to find out of there is a way to change the black background color to any other color.
Is there any way to change the black background that is loaded post-ICS update to white? I HATE IT! It's hard to read and shouldn't there be a way for users to change the background to a color they want?
I kind-of like the Smart notice thing, even if it's too large. But the background colors are killing me.The option to change the colors automatically is checked but grayed out, so I have no way to change it.
I upgraded my bold 9000 to 5.0 os, great and love it except for one thing. When I click on my icon screen, it has been changed from black to white. I cannot see half my icons. Is there a way to change the color of that screen?
I recently bought a Lumia 1520.3 and beside the strange bugs of the famous "touch issue" i can't understand why is chaging the accent and background color by itself.i notice this behavior around once a week since i installed on my PC the Windows 10 TP, maybe this is related to w10?
How do I change the text message background from Orange, to another colour? Also I am running lollipop 5 and Google everywhere does not work, I have only got the phone 2 days ago.
I just brought an X2-02. When I am reading some message, there is an background color on the screen going in a gradient of white , then light grey and dark grey. This is irritating and I tried changing it, but couldnt. Once a nokia care fellow changed it somehow and when I updated the software it went back to the same old irritating screen again. how to change the gradient background screen behind the message you are trying to read. I tried new themes.
I just got myself lumia900 and i found that my lumia screen at the bottom corner left part have the color changes a bit instead of having full black color background... As if the screen is leaking..Dont think its normal, but anyone has the same experience??
I've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.
So I have a T-Mobile SIM (SIM slot 1) and an AT&T SIM (SIM slot 2) in my 950XL. In the T-Mobile Messaging app, the text is in blue. In the AT&T Messaging app, the text in purple. I want to change the text color in each app but I haven't found a way to do so.
Let the developers know what new innovations you would like to see in Motoactive. Let them know what Apps, websites, hardware features that are out there that you love and would like to see incorporated into Motoactv.
I've noticed an interesting bug (feature?) with my X2. When web browsing, the color temperature of the screen will change every couple of minutes between a blueish hue and an orange one. Is this related to auto-brightness or is it a defect?
I have noticed an issue with the Galaxy S5 that apparently only occurs with the Verizon variant. I work for a place called Wireless Advocates, we are the cell phone kiosk inside of Costco. I'm asking about this because I've had three customers come in to ask about this background data issue.
I'm not sure what triggers this issue but when I try opening up google play I get the "Background Data Disabled : Google Play Store Needs background data to be Enabled" error. It then gives you the ability to either quit or enable the data. If you press enable it takes you to the account screen in settings.
When I go to Data usage the option to "restrict background data" is greyed out. You can't even select it and it isn't checkmarked either. Just to clarify, accessing the internet and other things on the phone work perfectly fine. It's just the use of Google Play that is having issues. I called Samsung customer care and they aren't aware of this issue at all. Also note that force stopping google play, play services, removing the google accounts and adding them back and rebooting the phone haven't solved it. After the reboot the phone will appear fine and then a box that says "Restricting background data".
First, I have Haptic Feeback turned off in Settings > Sound, but it still vibrates when I tap any of the four soft buttons above the keyboard. Is there any way to turn that off?Second, having had a Admiral before the Xprt, I loved the blue colors included in the interface. The Xprt uses a lot of red, which signifies "trouble" when I see it. Any way to change this red color so it does not appear on menu selections, buttons, etc.
Ok, so got another quest. How do you change the color of your led light, my first droid would light up green if I missed a call & this droid lights up blue.
My daughter (an iPhone 4 user) glanced at my Atrix while i was playing Angry Birds and asked why everything was so brown. She then compared her screen to mine and I was astounded at how poorly yellows are rendered on my phone! I then comparedit to my son's Samsung Captivate, with similar results. Color rendition on the Atrix is really off.Is there a way to make the color temperature cooler on the Atrix, or to completely recallibrate the display? Now that I've seen the difference, it's hard not to see problems in the display all the time. Any chance that a future update will fix the display driver to be more balanced?
I know there are apps that do this, ie Light Flow being one of them that allow you to change the LED notification color for specific apps, like red for gmail etc.Those apps drain battery from waking and such and was wondering if Motorola could incorpate that feature into the Atrix 2.
How do I set a photo as the wallpaper without it being spread across all five screens and massive? If i set a photo of a person it is huge and disfigured almost.
I am using 2 imap accounts within the messaging application but the emails are nto being pushed to my device (the problem described in this thread. I also rised an ticked to the motorola support but the surprisingly didn't helped. Yesterday I found the "Accounts and Sync Settings" application in my phone and as I checked it there, I found that my email accounts are listed there but the synchronisation settings for them is set to "OFF" which may be the reason why is the push not working.
I performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. This is minor, but annoying that my phone is behaving differently than it should. I am running 2.3.4 and have tried multiple resets (full resets removing all data and media)
I was wondering if there was a way to revert back to the Froyo color scheme?. I not really happy with the white background/black writing...of the lastest gingerbread colours
I'd much prefer the old black background/white writing
