I'm having trouble finding the correct settings and how to go about getting the browser to work on my GW525. My carrier is t-mobile. Another issue I'm having is syncing with Windows7. I used the software bundled with the phone and it seemed to have installed and even updated, but then the app stopped recognizing the phone.

1) When I change the wall paper picture, the phone restart
2) When I open the browser & goto a page, as soon as the page loaded the phone restart.
3) When I try to login to facebook, the phone says "Unable to complete the operation" after few minutes I entered the username & Password.
4) Push email it always says "try again later. The connection to the service unexpectedly failed. Please try again later"
I can manually receive emails without problem.I thought of reflashing the phone to see the problem will get solved. But how can I reflash this phone?
Bought this new phone But i cant set flash as wallpaper other than the flash tat came with the phone Pls do reply.I bought it under contract from Maxis.. My local cell provider

View 2 Replies View RelatedHaving difficulty with OS6 browser, I often get alerts that the page I'm trying to load is too large and will be closed. I also get alerts about not having enough memory to open pages and I also have issues with the browser closing without warning.Firstly the memory. Before loading 6 I ensured that any superfluous apps were deleted, ultimately giving me 84MB of free space. Post load I think I was in the mid 50's MB but not too sure. After a while my available memory fluctuated to between 35-45MBs but never below this. Once the memory issues started to occur I deleted more apps upping my free space to 55MBs, this still didn't solve the issue.A friend suggested that the unexpected closures might be due to Java running. I never had it enabled in 5 and haven't checked to see if it's enabled on the update but my point is that an update should be an improvement not a downgrade whether it's running or not. I can barely get through 2 pages without the browser closing for one reason or another and it's not like I'm visiting sites that have high visual or audio content.

I do have the blackberry data plan with AT&T and every time I attempt to open the browser, a message pops up "This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again." My wifi keeps going on and off which is 1 problem as its not the wifi as it works with laptop. I noticed that while it was off that my bbms weren't sending and my browser and also twitter and facebook apps didn't work. (The only apps I use all the time) I could send emails and texts and it was showing GPRS next to the grey wifi sign. But once the wifi was white these things would work but it only lasted a few minutes before going again.

For some strange reason 2 days ago blackberry messenger started playing up, my messages wouldnt deliver straight away, and they would take a good 10 mins to deliver and recieve. Same with the internet it would take ages to load or it wouldn't actually work, i sometimes can't even get into email settings via setup. I have connected my blackberry for now via my home wireless but i want to be able to use these programs without having my wifi connection on.

I purchased a new BB curve 9360 & every time I reboot it my emails & browser do not work, my emails stay blank & my browser is not accessible. The only way to fix this problem is to reset my phone software, once I do this it all works again. Why my phone keeps doing this as I'm sick of resetting the software every time?

Ever since I updated to 5.1, Dolphin refuses to load any pages, flash or otherwise.
It just shows a white screen.
While apps that use Internet work OK, I cannot connect to websites by using the stock browser and the newly installed Dolphin browser. I cleared the cache for the Browser and this did not help.

My phone is able to locate and connect to my home wireless network, but when I attempt to browse the internet, I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider My internet and wireless network are working fine. I connected my desktop computer to the wireless network and browsed the internet without issue, my wife's phone (iPhone4) works without problem on the wifi network, and I checked with my internet service provider- they see no problems as well.On a hunch, I drove down to a local Starbucks to find a wifi hotspot. I found one, connected to it, and browsed the internet without any error messages. So now it appears that when I connect to a free wifi hotspot everything's fine but with my home network I get the error message above. The only thing I changed was the network.

But, I have a question: when browsing sites in the browser, when you hover a link aren't you supposed to be able to just push in the trackball button to 'click' the link? Its not working for me on any sites. I actually have to press the BB menu button and select "Open Link". (e.g on crackberry wallpapers, when i click on a specific genre of wallpapers like "ART", I have to select "open link" instead of just clicking the trackball). It might just be because I am not familiar with all the menu settings yet and this is a buried setting somewhere.

I have no connection on blackberry app World or any of the blackberry apps or my e-mail, I can use MEdia net browser to connect to the internet it works fine, I can us Wi-Fi and everything work fine. Myspace or Facebook or any apps don't work unless i use my home Wi-Fi. I talk to AT&T and they said my internet was working fine.
When I try to access web sites from the Blackberry browser I get the "Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service. Please try again later" message. This happens whether connected through the T-Mobile network or Wi-fi.When I change the browser settings to the T-Mobile browser I am able to access web site just fine. However I would prefer to use the Blackberry browser because not all pages load correctly with the T-Mobile browser.
I have an active data plan and am connected to an enterprise server. My outlook and webmail e-mails work so I don't think it's a problem with my carrier. I've tried a battery pull, re-sending my service books, etc without luck.I think the problem may have started after connecting to my desktop for the first time in about a year, but I'm not completely certain. T-Mobile support and IT administrator have been no help.

After i started using the 8520 on the at&t network i noticed that i cannot change my setting from hotspot browser to internet browser anymore which in turn i cannot use the data service with at&t that i am paying for. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.
