My Safari search in Google quit working yesterday. I can put a word in the search box, google opens and provides a list of suggestions, I tap a suggested site, and it just returns to a blank google search screen with the web address
i am using an iphone 4 and its was working fine. presently its giving browsing error. whenever i am trying to browse internet by using safari or any other browser it retruns with an error message "server not responding" even the same thing is happening with Internet also. the worst part is am able to check my mails, able to chat and so on... only thing not able to browse through the browser. i have tried restore option also. this is happening with both wlan and data con.
I'm just about to upgrade from iphone 3gs (ios5.1) to iphone 4s, but my old phone cuts out after 5-10mins on call, an error i've never been able to get rid of since i upgraded from ios3 to ios4 (i'm not a chatterbox, but it is very annoying!). If i restore from back up might this happen again?
Don't have an iP4 myself, yet. However my friend has just reported, from Apple Store TX, that Apple took in his device yesterday to replace the antenna hardware. A solution in the offing? Make what you want of that.
I'm having trouble finding the correct settings and how to go about getting the browser to work on my GW525. My carrier is t-mobile. Another issue I'm having is syncing with Windows7. I used the software bundled with the phone and it seemed to have installed and even updated, but then the app stopped recognizing the phone.
Having difficulty with OS6 browser, I often get alerts that the page I'm trying to load is too large and will be closed. I also get alerts about not having enough memory to open pages and I also have issues with the browser closing without warning.Firstly the memory. Before loading 6 I ensured that any superfluous apps were deleted, ultimately giving me 84MB of free space. Post load I think I was in the mid 50's MB but not too sure. After a while my available memory fluctuated to between 35-45MBs but never below this. Once the memory issues started to occur I deleted more apps upping my free space to 55MBs, this still didn't solve the issue.A friend suggested that the unexpected closures might be due to Java running. I never had it enabled in 5 and haven't checked to see if it's enabled on the update but my point is that an update should be an improvement not a downgrade whether it's running or not. I can barely get through 2 pages without the browser closing for one reason or another and it's not like I'm visiting sites that have high visual or audio content.
My Blackberry Bold 9650 Browser won't work. I do have the blackberry data plan with AT&T and every time I attempt to open the browser, a message pops up "This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again." When I try to change the browser option to internet explorer from Hot Spot browser there are not any other options that come up.
I am using bb curve 8520 with O2 and has been running perfectly since january. My wifi keeps going on and off which is 1 problem as its not the wifi as it works with laptop. I noticed that while it was off that my bbms weren't sending and my browser and also twitter and facebook apps didn't work. (The only apps I use all the time) I could send emails and texts and it was showing GPRS next to the grey wifi sign. But once the wifi was white these things would work but it only lasted a few minutes before going again.
i have the 8900 curve with tmobile uk, my contract does include unlimited internet/mail and the £5 data plan. For some strange reason 2 days ago blackberry messenger started playing up, my messages wouldnt deliver straight away, and they would take a good 10 mins to deliver and recieve. Same with the internet it would take ages to load or it wouldn't actually work, i sometimes can't even get into email settings via setup. I have connected my blackberry for now via my home wireless but i want to be able to use these programs without having my wifi connection on.
I can't find the browser icon on my phone. When I click <Switch Application> I can see the broswer but it says that "Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries". I have contacted Bell technical support so many times about this and nothing has worked!
I am able to connect to my home WiFi but when I press the browser app I get web page not available and list the www.google.com/m?client=ms-android-verizon&source=android-home might be temporarily down response. Also any app requiring network says "unable to connect to network".
I am having real problems with my Blackberry ID on my Torch 9860.
Everytime I try to download either an App or do an update where it requires you to verify your Blackberry ID, my phone comes up with the message "Unable to log in to your Blackberry ID account"
It doesn't come up that it is a wrong attempt, it just doesn't recognise it. At first I thought maybe I had remembered the wrong password and so have had several wrong attempts and am now on my last attempt (not really sure what that means but doesn't sound good) However, as the login works on my PC this can't be the case.
Yet another fault with my BlackBerry 9300, the browser refuses to work, I have full 3G coverage and I am connected to my home wifi with an excellent connection, yet my Blackberry just refuses to connect to any websites, all I get is a message saying Unable to connect to server, have had the problem for a few days, tried the usual battery pull, turned of my network coverage and tried running off my wifi and vice versa yet ive had no luck.
When I open my browser it keeps freezing, and if I press the Blackberry button to open the menu screen, it won't work. All I can use is the "back" button. I can't close the browser down completely, select, copy, anything at all.
When i go on my browser it says network error try again later and it never works i keep trying and it wont work & twitter & facebook & bbm all work it really annoying i wanna be able to use my browserM my app world was working but now when i click on it it stays on the loading page forevr and nothing comes up no matter how long i leave it on the app
I upgraded to the N97 a couple of months ago and have become more and more frustrated with the very weak phone signal I get with this handset, with calls often dropping out. I am on the latest software version etc.Now I have searched through the other discussions on this site and have found a stack of discussions about others who have experienced / are experiencing the same problem.What I would like to know is does anyone know if there is a fix or solution for this yet?I really don't think I can manage another 12 months or so before I my next upgrade, and my provider won't do anything for me.
The ear speaker on my phone is not working at all! I can't hear the dialing tone or the person on the other end of the phone, the only way I can use my phone is if I put it on loudspeaker or use my handsfree headphones.I did a factory reset and downloaded the latest software but it still won't work- if anything it has made my phone a lot slower.I have sent an email to sony ericsson and not had a reply. The phone was bought on pay and go from a catalogue and I've had it for 18 months so I doubt it's under warranty still.or where a reliable repair centre is close to Cheshire? I really loved this phone before this and have had a lot less problems with it than other people have had but now I don't think I can trust it so considering cutting my losses! I only use it for calls, messages and facebook so couldn't be accused of overusing it.
I purchased a new BB curve 9360 & every time I reboot it my emails & browser do not work, my emails stay blank & my browser is not accessible. The only way to fix this problem is to reset my phone software, once I do this it all works again. Why my phone keeps doing this as I'm sick of resetting the software every time?
