I am having real problems with my Blackberry ID on my Torch 9860.
Everytime I try to download either an App or do an update where it requires you to verify your Blackberry ID, my phone comes up with the message "Unable to log in to your Blackberry ID account"
It doesn't come up that it is a wrong attempt, it just doesn't recognise it. At first I thought maybe I had remembered the wrong password and so have had several wrong attempts and am now on my last attempt (not really sure what that means but doesn't sound good) However, as the login works on my PC this can't be the case.
I am having trouble typing the letter n. When I type an email or text the letter n does not always respond. It is a fault that will not resolve itself. What do I do? The phone is not a year old yet.
my phone was in my pocket and suddenly the screen went blank, the warranty people are saying that my lcd is faulty, cud there be anyother software or hardware reason for it.
I upgraded to the N97 a couple of months ago and have become more and more frustrated with the very weak phone signal I get with this handset, with calls often dropping out. I am on the latest software version etc.Now I have searched through the other discussions on this site and have found a stack of discussions about others who have experienced / are experiencing the same problem.What I would like to know is does anyone know if there is a fix or solution for this yet?I really don't think I can manage another 12 months or so before I my next upgrade, and my provider won't do anything for me.
I'm just about to upgrade from iphone 3gs (ios5.1) to iphone 4s, but my old phone cuts out after 5-10mins on call, an error i've never been able to get rid of since i upgraded from ios3 to ios4 (i'm not a chatterbox, but it is very annoying!). If i restore from back up might this happen again?
The ear speaker on my phone is not working at all! I can't hear the dialing tone or the person on the other end of the phone, the only way I can use my phone is if I put it on loudspeaker or use my handsfree headphones.I did a factory reset and downloaded the latest software but it still won't work- if anything it has made my phone a lot slower.I have sent an email to sony ericsson and not had a reply. The phone was bought on pay and go from a catalogue and I've had it for 18 months so I doubt it's under warranty still.or where a reliable repair centre is close to Cheshire? I really loved this phone before this and have had a lot less problems with it than other people have had but now I don't think I can trust it so considering cutting my losses! I only use it for calls, messages and facebook so couldn't be accused of overusing it.
I hope someone can help me on this, After updating my phone to v31.01.101 my screen goes all lines and blurry, cant see any display at all, ive scanned the internet and noticed a lot of others had it too, (firmware fault), ive tried to update it to V5, but it wont go any higher than what ive got now , is there a fix for the screen?
When you type a message / email on the on screen keyboard, there used to be a key to send your message from the screen that has been taken off. now i have to slide the Tablet open and send from the keyboard. Any reason/any fixes or settings that i might have missed? or it there something i can do to correct this?
i have just got my bb back from being repaired and when i got it back it was once again locked to another carrier. i have unlocked it with the MEP code which the carrier provided and am now running the phone with an O2 uk sim.Im not sure if the above is relavent but since ive been using the phone this time around none of the internet or data services will work. i have a data plan on my contract (unlimited) but when i try to connect to the internet via the browser i get the following error message 'Error encountered during XML parse: End tag does not match start tag 'head'. ' also when i try to use windows live messenger i get an error message saying service not enabled for this handheld !?
I am trying to update my software for my uk vodafone 8100.After installing for about 10 mins i get an error on the display (error 523) and desktop manager doesn't go any further. I have tried this process numerous times and get the same fault. The phone was working fine before i tried updating the software.I got the software form the carriers websit so i know its right.I have tried a few different versions but still get the same error. I have even tried removing vendor.xml. I have also wiped the device using bbsak etc so i get 507 error before updating but this hasn't worked either.I need this phone working as it is a business phone.
Basically i am getting the 'double click' thing on my storm2 once a day atleast. I upgraded the OS recently but its still doing it. Sometimes if i hit the screen hard it will start working which suspects me to beleive theres dirt under or around the screen itself?But if i remove the battery the screen then starts to work, which leads me to beleive its the software.
What is it? is it common? how can i fix it its driving me insane.
i had a bold 9700 about 3 weeks been working fine then all of a sudden last got this strange problem, when i click on the trackpad to any menu it works fine, clicking reading texts fine, when i click on the browser it comes up fine, then when i go bookmark then click on site its fine, but once on site when scrolling and want to click on something nothing happens ??? its not skipped a beat in 3 weeks, then this last night not changed any settings at all or installed anything but it only does this when on web pages and try to click on something or item tried on numerous sites. any ideas ??? doing any thing else button works fine i,m running lastest os thanks
Don't have an iP4 myself, yet. However my friend has just reported, from Apple Store TX, that Apple took in his device yesterday to replace the antenna hardware. A solution in the offing? Make what you want of that.
My beloved Galaxy S2 is currently with T-mobile for assessment as a result of a broken screen (under the glass) and the view of the shop was that as it was a broken screen it was automatically my fault.I am at a loss as to how they can know this without even seeing the phone. Hence why I was unprepared to pre-authorise a repair without knowing the cost first.I have no issue with paying if it is my fault (like I did when I put a phone through the washing machine or when I dropped one on a sharp stone and shattered the screen or when I left one on the car roof and drove off only to see it bounce in the rear view mirror!) but this time it was very different as the screen went black as if power had gone and it needed to be switched back on - i initially thought it was a power fault. The next day I discovered a crack in the screen.
There seems to be a fault in N8 where the screen is fine but if you look closely/in pure white or grey backgrounds I can notice the screen flickering where the lines move from the bottom all the way to the top really fast.
I'm having an issue with custom alerts that are set with some people and the active profile setting. here's what's going on...i have custom ringers on a few family members and since some of the ringers are low in volume, i set the volume individually. today i had to go to a memorial service and i decided to make sure my phone was on silent so i don't have my phone going on in the middle of the service. i set my profile to silent, called myself using my dad's phone and what do i hear, his ringer! i did a battery pull...same thing. i tried to call myself using my dad's phone again, but this time using *67 and no ringtone, just showed that i had a call coming through. with no time on my hands before heading out the door, i just turned off my phone.
Now i found an alternative, but not quite a solution...i can have custom ringtones for people, but not change the volume and whatever profile is set will happen. is there a better way? did i receive a faulty device, although i think it's more a software issue.
It won't stop flashing and starting to get very annoying any ideas of how to fix this?
I've already had to take it to a nokia care point twice in the past month because the screen has broken and then non responsive.I've reset the phone and hard reset as well and the problem is still there...
Basically when using the phone the screen turns black for a fraction of a second, before returning to the screen I was on. It happens about every 6 or so seconds...any advise or will I have to take it back to repairs?
Also, I have white spots on my camera screen? Is this dirt or a fault with the camera?
a couple of days ago I tried to do an update on my W995a via the SEUS program (latest version used, downloaded the day I did the update), It got to about 90% then stopped and stayed at 90% for about 2 - 4 minutes then it came up with Update Failed, I've retried the process a few times and all have failed, I've used the repair feature in the PC Suite program to try to fix the phone but it fails about about 90% as well, I had no issues or software glitches with the phone before attempting the Update. The phone now will not load the OS but instead just sits there with the keypad lights on. Is there a solution to this problem? As this is my main phone and the SEUS program has broken it.
I was downloading an image from bbm and accidently cancelled it. I can't seem to start the download again. Is there a way I can still retrieve the image?
My phone was once a corporate phone and I recently bought it from a friend. I have been trying to install blackberry protect but it tells me that it cannot be supported by enterprise server. How do i correct this because it is now a personal device.
