Apr 19, 2011I just recently purchased my blackberry bold 9780, and i would have liked to use it for downloading videos, which are between 30 to 60 mb large. I'm furious at the fact that my friend who has a bold 9700 can download the entire file using his normal browser, while the same download fails on my bold 9780 halfway through it, and this happens every single time I try to download. I would have expected blackberry to atleast add a download manager in this supposedly newer and better version of the 9700, but instead it has more flaws. I would really appreciate someone from blackberry technical support to have a look at this issue and reply to me asap.

Jan 31, 2012I am having real problems with my Blackberry ID on my Torch 9860.
Everytime I try to download either an App or do an update where it requires you to verify your Blackberry ID, my phone comes up with the message "Unable to log in to your Blackberry ID account"
It doesn't come up that it is a wrong attempt, it just doesn't recognise it. At first I thought maybe I had remembered the wrong password and so have had several wrong attempts and am now on my last attempt (not really sure what that means but doesn't sound good) However, as the login works on my PC this can't be the case.

May 12, 2011I received an email link for the BB 6.x upgrade today and tried to upgrade it from the phone but it won't allow it and says to use the desktop manager. When I try the desktop manager, it says there are no updates for my device. The OTASL diagnostic update says " request failed 22c67b020110512204609 01 of 01". Original Error: Failed to transmit, Connectivity: Server Busy Sufficient Coverage: yes.
Does anyone know what the problem is based on the information above? It sounds like the upgrade is a dud, since it won't update using either the phone or the desktop software.

Oct 5, 2010I have 3 users all with blackberry torches 2 of those users are on Telus Network and connected to BES Express the thrid user is on Rogers Network and not connected to BES Express The Rogers user is able to download any attachment, the Telus users are not. Each user got the same email with the same attachment, a csv file. I know blackberries can't read csv files, but the user can downlad the attachment to the BB and change the extensipon to .txt, then they will be able to open the file. Like I said the Rogers user can do this, but the Telus ones can't. The BES express policy is the default one, which as far as I can tell, is blank.
