BB Torch :: Can't Download Due To ID Fault
Jan 31, 2012I am having real problems with my Blackberry ID on my Torch 9860.
Everytime I try to download either an App or do an update where it requires you to verify your Blackberry ID, my phone comes up with the message "Unable to log in to your Blackberry ID account"
It doesn't come up that it is a wrong attempt, it just doesn't recognise it. At first I thought maybe I had remembered the wrong password and so have had several wrong attempts and am now on my last attempt (not really sure what that means but doesn't sound good) However, as the login works on my PC this can't be the case.

May 12, 2011I received an email link for the BB 6.x upgrade today and tried to upgrade it from the phone but it won't allow it and says to use the desktop manager. When I try the desktop manager, it says there are no updates for my device. The OTASL diagnostic update says " request failed 22c67b020110512204609 01 of 01". Original Error: Failed to transmit, Connectivity: Server Busy Sufficient Coverage: yes.
Does anyone know what the problem is based on the information above? It sounds like the upgrade is a dud, since it won't update using either the phone or the desktop software.

Oct 5, 2010I have 3 users all with blackberry torches 2 of those users are on Telus Network and connected to BES Express the thrid user is on Rogers Network and not connected to BES Express The Rogers user is able to download any attachment, the Telus users are not. Each user got the same email with the same attachment, a csv file. I know blackberries can't read csv files, but the user can downlad the attachment to the BB and change the extensipon to .txt, then they will be able to open the file. Like I said the Rogers user can do this, but the Telus ones can't. The BES express policy is the default one, which as far as I can tell, is blank.

Sep 13, 2011I have purchased IM+ Pro for my Torch 9800. The process I followed is the following: On the mobile device, I went to BB App world, searched for IM+pro. Selected to purchase this application. After select to purchase, I was given a choice to pay with Paypal OR let my service provider bill me for the product. I chose the latter i.e. Service provider to bill me. App world then proceded to download the app to my phone. Unfortunately there was a break in the down load process and now I can not continue where I left off. When I restart the download from scratch I get given the payment choice again. I received an invoice from app world to my email address. I can send it invoice if you want to see. Do I need to pay for the app again?

Problem is this: whenever I download a file on my BB, whether I'm in the browser or in App World, the download goes like this: download a few KB, stop, clock symbol appears, download resumes for another few KB, stop again, clock symbol, etc.Downloading a typical 1 MB file can take a long time because of all these pauses. What the he** is wrong with these new BB devices?

Dec 26, 2011I can not download my videos to my computer. Every time I try to sync I get this message on my cell phone:
Built-in Media and Media Card Storage are not available because Mass Storage Mode is currently in use.
I have tried to find out how to stop it from going into Mass Storage Mode and can not find it. As soon as I unplug the USB cable the message goes away and I can at least see the videos.

If you want to download the ribbon icon for the built in Blackberry Maps you can go to http://www.blackberry.com/send/maps from your phone's browser to install it.I know when the phone was first released on AT&T people had speculated that it wasn't at mobile.blackberry.com because AT&T didn't want it there but it seems that they just hadn't updated the maps website for the Torch yet. BTW, it's still not at mobile.blackberry.com.
