Aug 6, 2012I was downloading an image from bbm and accidently cancelled it. I can't seem to start the download again. Is there a way I can still retrieve the image?

Sep 21, 2012Whenever I download an image or get it via bluetooth, my whole gallery disappears. All the pictures and videos. I have to turn my phone off a few times or dismount the memory card a few times. And then they come back including the new picture. How do I avoid this. It's killing me (and my blog =P )Btw if I open and close the gallery a few times it starts working again. I just realized this.

Dec 9, 2012Camera will not capture images. Purely states 'unable to capture image'. Video camera comes up with coloured lines, no image. Reasonably new handset, have tried rebooting and clearing down all apps.

Mar 23, 2011Just like most on the forums around the net, having serious issues with BB encrytption of jpg's. BB stopped working and transfered all 400 pictures off of it o my Mac. I could not view the .jpg.rem images on my Mac, however I figured I would let it lie based on most of the posts. Got back my BB and transfered the images back onto the BB and all I see are image files with hourglasses? Tried turning off and on encryption, tried renaming and transfering files, emailing them, switching folders and just about every possible combination...to the point where I see that the "damaged or corrupted" error.

# On the Home screen, click the Camera icon.
# Press the Menu key key > Options.
# Select the Image Stabilization check box.
# Press the Menu key key > Save.
I don't have IS under Options - only Digital Zoom, Picture Review, Image Size, Convenience Keys, Storage and Store Pictures.

Jul 7, 2012Had a torch 9800 for 18 months now and always been working fine... until today. I went to use the camera and it all seemed to open up fine but instead of seeing what the lens sees the screen was black. The centre focus [ ] was there and I could zoom back and forth just a black screen. When I click for a photo I get a message " Unable to capture the image " I have searched the web and found nothing conclusive. Battery pulls, a full wipe and installation of the o/s have made no difference to it's lack of function.

Jan 31, 2012I am having real problems with my Blackberry ID on my Torch 9860.
Everytime I try to download either an App or do an update where it requires you to verify your Blackberry ID, my phone comes up with the message "Unable to log in to your Blackberry ID account"
It doesn't come up that it is a wrong attempt, it just doesn't recognise it. At first I thought maybe I had remembered the wrong password and so have had several wrong attempts and am now on my last attempt (not really sure what that means but doesn't sound good) However, as the login works on my PC this can't be the case.

May 12, 2011I received an email link for the BB 6.x upgrade today and tried to upgrade it from the phone but it won't allow it and says to use the desktop manager. When I try the desktop manager, it says there are no updates for my device. The OTASL diagnostic update says " request failed 22c67b020110512204609 01 of 01". Original Error: Failed to transmit, Connectivity: Server Busy Sufficient Coverage: yes.
Does anyone know what the problem is based on the information above? It sounds like the upgrade is a dud, since it won't update using either the phone or the desktop software.

Oct 5, 2010I have 3 users all with blackberry torches 2 of those users are on Telus Network and connected to BES Express the thrid user is on Rogers Network and not connected to BES Express The Rogers user is able to download any attachment, the Telus users are not. Each user got the same email with the same attachment, a csv file. I know blackberries can't read csv files, but the user can downlad the attachment to the BB and change the extensipon to .txt, then they will be able to open the file. Like I said the Rogers user can do this, but the Telus ones can't. The BES express policy is the default one, which as far as I can tell, is blank.
