I can't find the browser icon on my phone. When I click <Switch Application> I can see the broswer but it says that "Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries". I have contacted Bell technical support so many times about this and nothing has worked!

My browser icon is no where to be found on my phone. I can not locate it in the main menu or on my home screen. I have tried wiping my phone clean and reinstalling all apps, and no success. How do I get my browser icon back on my phone?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? Is there somewhere else I'm suppose to click? Is there possibly some setting that needs to be turned on or maybe one that is on that should be unchecked?Any help would really, really be appreciated.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using a Verizon BB 8330 (refurbished) with Appalachian Wireless.My data plan does not work with BIS or BES.App. Wire. shoots me the service books, but says that Verizon has some sort of lock in my phone that won't allow my phone to work online. I contacted verizon and they said they do not use locks on phones. I use opera mini 4.2 to access internet.I can not download any apps ota because I always get the message from blackberry that no browser has been configured.I can not download any apps with DM using an ota downloader because I can not find the 'URL to .jad' files. My phone works great almost any where I go, but my opera internet only works in my home area.Are there any tweaks or hacking methods that I can use to get Bis to accept my data plan?Or just to get opera to work in a roaming area?

The contacts were transferred at the store - but after I restored from my DM backup done one week ago - none of my other settings were restored. What did I do wrong or what have I missed? Sprint rep told me the backup restore would get my new 8330 back to being just like the old one - but it's not.I want to get my email settings, apps, ring tones, wallpapers etc, back. I don't want to have to create everything over again when I have a good backup.

I was playing around with it and liked the view and some of the features that the new software has available (mainly the new clock that has 'bedside' options for use as an alarm clock and the look of the icons.).
Does anyone know if the 8530 software can be run on the 8330 without issues? If so, what is the best way to update to the new software?
I have two Blackberry 8330's here. One is a 8330 and the other is a 8330m. The 8330m receives MMS pictures embedded and the 8330 receives an SMS with a link to look at the picture online.I know this isn't new but I haven't been able to find any solution to this if there even is one.
One thing I found is that somewhere it was said that the two phones receive different types of Service books depending on the model.Now, maybe this is a stupid question but I am asking it anyways .Can I somehow copy the MMS service book from the 8330m and put in on my older 8330 ? If it's possible, will this fix the MMS as an SMS link problem ?

View 3 Replies View RelatedHaving difficulty with OS6 browser, I often get alerts that the page I'm trying to load is too large and will be closed. I also get alerts about not having enough memory to open pages and I also have issues with the browser closing without warning.Firstly the memory. Before loading 6 I ensured that any superfluous apps were deleted, ultimately giving me 84MB of free space. Post load I think I was in the mid 50's MB but not too sure. After a while my available memory fluctuated to between 35-45MBs but never below this. Once the memory issues started to occur I deleted more apps upping my free space to 55MBs, this still didn't solve the issue.A friend suggested that the unexpected closures might be due to Java running. I never had it enabled in 5 and haven't checked to see if it's enabled on the update but my point is that an update should be an improvement not a downgrade whether it's running or not. I can barely get through 2 pages without the browser closing for one reason or another and it's not like I'm visiting sites that have high visual or audio content.

Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again." My wifi keeps going on and off which is 1 problem as its not the wifi as it works with laptop. I noticed that while it was off that my bbms weren't sending and my browser and also twitter and facebook apps didn't work. (The only apps I use all the time) I could send emails and texts and it was showing GPRS next to the grey wifi sign. But once the wifi was white these things would work but it only lasted a few minutes before going again.

For some strange reason 2 days ago blackberry messenger started playing up, my messages wouldnt deliver straight away, and they would take a good 10 mins to deliver and recieve. Same with the internet it would take ages to load or it wouldn't actually work, i sometimes can't even get into email settings via setup. I have connected my blackberry for now via my home wireless but i want to be able to use these programs without having my wifi connection on.

I purchased a new BB curve 9360 & every time I reboot it my emails & browser do not work, my emails stay blank & my browser is not accessible. The only way to fix this problem is to reset my phone software, once I do this it all works again. Why my phone keeps doing this as I'm sick of resetting the software every time?

Ever since I updated to 5.1, Dolphin refuses to load any pages, flash or otherwise.
It just shows a white screen.
While apps that use Internet work OK, I cannot connect to websites by using the stock browser and the newly installed Dolphin browser. I cleared the cache for the Browser and this did not help.

If I chose another language the web browser and the ovi maps change there language with no problem. How can I resolve this problem with the Portuguese language. Can I downgrade the firmware.
