LG G4 :: Phone Completely Froze - Not Responding To Any Buttons
Dec 19, 2015
I just tried to open a link on my new phone and my phone completely froze, it is not responding to any buttons, and when I took the battery out the screen has remained on. Why?
The screen is frozen, but the phone responds when it is closed. I hear the trackpad, but it doesn't move, nor do any of the keys work. I have removed the battery - left it out overnight, still won't respond.
All of a sudden, my letter "e/2" stopped working. i did a battery pull, and that did nothing, so i did a restore on my phone. this resulted in none of my buttons reponding or taking 10mins (no joke!) to respond. it has also wiped all my contacts aswell.
I make my phone buttons respond swiftly? I noticed that if I press any button its takes lot of time before responding and I always have to press it hard before it responds.
After a week of having had the E72, the one-touch buttons for Contacts, Calendar and Messaging have all stopped responding. Neither a long nor short press results in any action being taken.Any ideas on how to resolve this?
All of a sudden the keys stopped working, no matter what i press nothing happens, only the trackpad is working. It happend out of nowhere, i didnt drop it or get it wet, so i have no idea how or why this is happening.
the buttons at the bottom of the phone seem to stop working this has happened a few times now is this a normal thing or is already showing it's faults?
I have a otterbox case, love it. But when I try to use my 4 hard buttons on the lower bottom of my droid x they dont work. I take the case off and the phone is back to normal
Two times over the weekend my Bionic has gotten to a point where the phone's power buttons nor any of the other buttons would respond. There was only the green indicator blinking on the front of the phone and it seemed to be frozen. I waited around 10 minutes and tried pressing the power button again, holding it down and pressing it repeatedly. Nothing. I did a battery pull on the phone and when I booted it back up it seemed to work.
right now only the buttons and icons on the left hand side of my screen are responding and some of the others are reacting without me even touching them. tried all the usual tricks restarting the phone etc had my iphone since jan 2011 & this is the first issue ive had with it.
My xperia play had just been repaired and I left in in my bag for 2 hours just now. I can't unlock my phone, it says safe mode and only the buttons are working. The screen is not responding to my touch.
I have a Sprint LG G3 phone that froze during the Android App update that it prompted me to do. It seemed that things were going great , and then all of a sudden it was just doing nothing...
Now 1 1/2 hours later the phone is still doing nothing. The Screen is on and has a LG Lifes Good logo on it , along with a pink round ball logo thing... Every once in awhile the screen will flash and get brighter. Other then that it is doing nothing and I can't get it to do anything...
On my Sprint LG G3 cell phone I was prompted to allow a Android update to take place. So I started the update and it seemed like everything was going fine, but after awhile I became concerned due to my phone had seemed to just stop ..
The screen is on , it shows the LG life's Good and Pink dot on the screen.... I took the battery out for about 3 min or so and then put it back in.. I started the phone and it went immediately back to the LG Lifes Good screen...
Its been over an hour , and I am on WiFi..... What do I do now ????? What is my next move ???
Just update my phone to 7.1 os, after the update when it restarted my phone just froze into white screen and not functional anymore. Tried taking out battery, sim, media card and put them one by one and still doing the same thing. I noticed when it turn on before it goes to white screen, a message saying "linking java" for a quick second then goes back to white screen for a long period of time and i can't use it anymore. i already contacted my service provider about this and they're taking so long to respond to me. I don't want to send it for repair again since I alreay sent it 3 wks ago for a repair from my provider due to built in media errors.
I've had a few problems with my Nokia E51. I got the phone from my uncle who didn't like it after initially buying it. He bought it for O2 but I'm with Vodafone.
Anyways I got the phone unlocked and put my vodafone sim in and it worked fine. I changed the settings around on wap as well so it goes to vodafones homepage instead of o2's and it was working grand.
Then problems started with it. Firstly, I received a text one day and when i went to open it the phone just froze. It wouldnt let me look at the text and every button i pressed didnt do anything. The screen just stayed the same. I tried turning off and on and taking battery out but everytime i turned it back on the text would appear 'one new text message' and the phone would still be frozen.
After a few months I tried the phone again and it was working fine. I had it for about a week again but then another problem surfaced. I looked at the phone randomly and the screen was flicking between differents screens. It was as if i was pressing loads of buttons but i wasnt pressing any! It was just flicking between screens really fast. I turned it off and back on, then battery out but kept doing the same when i turned it back on.
I left it for a month again and last night I tried turning it on and its working fine again. I know its gonna start up again though so I wondered if there's something I can do while it's working to stop it from breaking again. Is there a virus in the phone or something or is it just a bad batch?
I left my phone open on a text message and when I returned to it a while later it had frozen. I tried to use some of the buttons to return to the home screen but nothing happened. I turned it off and then back on again but the screen came up white with a reset error message. I turned it off again and it won't turn on at all. The red light is just flashing. I am unable to connect the device to my computer.
I was taking a picture with my phone when the entire phone froze, then a few seconds later the screen went black. This struck me as odd, as I'm pretty sure I had charged it over night last night. It is a possibility that the battery went to 0% though. However, ever since the screen went black, I have not been able to do anything with it. When I plug it into a charger (and I've tried several), the LED light endlessly blinks red. I've tried every way possible to reset the phone (removing SIM card, pressing off button near SIM card, holding down power and either of the volume buttons). Tried connecting the phone to both a PC and Mac, but neither recognizes that a device is connected.
My Photon Froze when the battery was almost out, then turned itself off. Now will not turn on, only get the opening screen where it says dual core technology. Ive tried everything, taking out the battery, charging the phone, turning it on without the battery. A few times it has said boot failed in the top corner.
Just received my second replacement phone today and already I am back to having issues once again with this phone. Within two hours of it being up and operational my phone has froze up on me and is making noises as it's connecting to the dock when it's not near it. I called Verizon and they told me to do a master reset of my phone. After explaining to them several times I have done this twice already they said that there was nothing that they could do for me except send me another phone yet again.
I have had a lot of issues with the N97 and on the dawn or ordering a replacement, this happened: The phone froze whilst trying to send a message, so I turned it off and back on. The message was still in the Outgoing box and did send after all, however, all messages in the Inbox, the Sent box, personal folders, etc. have all disappeared!
Now, my phone stored a lot of business messages with important information as well as many personal messages with a lot of emotional attachment. No other data disappeared, contacts and calendar entries are all there!
I was uploading pictures to facebook yesterday and my phone froze...trying to get out of my seat, the fone dropped and the battery came out..i put it back in and it's been rebootong for almost 12hours...i dont know what to do.i wish there was a software to download and then plug up my phone and run it to fix. i need it on asap, because i'm losing my mind and money...also,i haven't backer-up my files on my phone, but i have an email address registered to the phone.what can i do?
So I have had my AT&T G4 since last June and it's worked perfectly fine. Suddenly tonight as I was just watching YouTube my phone froze and shut down. I tried taking out the battery and it won't turn back on at all. The LG screen shows up and then it loops a bit before going dark and the power button won't work. Not until I replace the battery again. And the cycle begins anew. Sometimes the white AT&T screen shows, but still nothing. Once I got it to a screen that was optimizing apps I think. But that quickly failed.
I haven't factory reset yet because I do not want to loose my information and I don't know if I even have a back up. I don't know what to do and I can't be without my phone.
I have an iphone 5 & during restore an error message appeared so the phone has now froze. It allows me to switch it off but as soon as it switches on it has the iTunes symbol on screen. im going round in circles. when I connect it to iTunes it says it cant restore.....
I recently did a software update on my Blackberry Bold 9000 when prompted by my desktop manager to do so. After the update the phone began running slowly. I then delete a couple applications off the phone such as Myspace and Facebook to free some memory. Then phone had to be rebooted to complete deletion. After reboot, the phone screen turned white and froze. To unfreeze I had to remove the battery. When I put the battery back in, it would not turn on anymore. Could the update have fried the phone altogether?
So last night my phone randomly froze and rebooted into the command page with the little android guy saying no command. So I had to reboot system and all is well.
Last night my phone froze. I took the battery out and reset it. I put the batter back in. It turns back on and does the security verifying and then shows the main screen. The issue is that i try to scroll through the applications and it does not respond. I cannot dial numbers or anything. It just stay on the main screen. When I pulled the batter I notice that there is a red line on the white part near the pickups on the battery.
So as I was downloading a new theme for my jailbroken phone it froze. So I reset the phone and now its stuck on apple logo and doesn't change. periodically it will give me a white spiral on the bottom of the apple logo but that is it. I don't know how to get it to that special mode to reset.I guess my phone is bricked
