Starting today, my M8 has stopped responding altogether. I have turned it off, it then turns itself back on and won't respond to anything I do.
As I write this I have just held down the power button, it vibrated and is now working.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi have been using my xperia z2 for 6 months now.i sent a message to someone yesterday and the next minute my phone didnt respond to touch at all.it's been about 24 hours now.every other thing is working:i charged it,restarted it by removing the sim card ,can see all my notifications,the time is changing ....but i can't use it because the home screen is locked.all other buttons(camera and power button) on the side are working perfectly.

Today (11/5) my phone would turn on, I would be able to use it for a short time (when I say short, I mean a few minutes) the phone screen would go into battery saving mode, and then If I tried to wake it back up, nothing would display on the screen so I then again tried the obligatory battery pull. What can I do?
View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently I purchased a blackberry curve 8520. The phone worked great and was one of the best phones I had ever used. But now it doesn't seem to respond anymore. The only way to get into my phone when turned on is to push the switch off button for about 3 seconds and then the phone will ask me to unlock it. This is kind off annoying because I'm not used to using the phone like this. I don't know how this happened. The only reason I can think of is that a few weeks ago I was pushed and I hit a wall with the phone in my pocket, this broke my g-key. The key did not fall off it just stopped functioning. This used to annoy me too but I learned to live with it. My question now is, will blackberry still repair the phone if I send it back ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S6, I've had it for about 3 months. It was randomly restarting itself last month but has since stopped that. But 2 days ago I got a whatsapp message and the notification light was flashing but I couldn't get my phone to respond and the screen stayed black. I rebooted it but it did it again the next time I received a message. It is still doing it every time I get a message (whatsapp or text) if the screen is off. It only responds if I reboot. I've cleared the cache partition and it hasn't made a difference. A few times when I've rebooted it it has shut down again as soon as it comes on and does it a couple of times before staying on. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be doing this! I don't want to do a factory reset.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using firmware V 40.0.005 and trying to update to the newest version.I run the update in the Ovi suite and all goes as it should but when my phone restarts it still runs V. 4 instead of the new one.I've also tried updating through my phone but get a message saying that the server is not responding.On another matter, I try to update Ovi maps to V3.4 and it fails every time, I've tried downloading it to my PC and updating it through Ovi suite and my phone comes up with a message saying that the installer is already running.If anyone would be able to help me with this or point me in the right direction it would be GREATLY appreciated, I've only just got my phone back after it needed repairing due to a fault and now this has gone wrong.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy 1520 has been driving me nuts lately. I'll be using it and then it was start going crazy. For example, I'll be watching a video and suddenly it will start vibrating as is I'm hitting the navigation keys and it will act as if someone has hit the back button a few times, then the home button, and then Cortana. It always freezes after this and I either have to wait 10 minutes or so to get the touch screen or navigation buttons to respond (volume, camera and lock button all work fine), or I have to soft reset the phone. Sometimes I can go a few hours and be fine, sometimes it will start doing this every 10 minutes.
It started doing it shortly after I got the 8.1 update, so I thought it may be related. I did a hard reset and then used the Nokia recovery tool and am still having the problems.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI brought my nexus 5 for almost a year now. yesterday, i was charging my phone via a PC and after disconnecting it from the PC it just started to heatup near the camera area. It became so hot that I was not able to keep in my pocket. Then I tried opening up the dailer to call my friend but it just showed "Process system isn't responding do you want to close it?"
THEN I tried several other apps and these showed up:

unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped
unfortunately, Settings has stopped
unfortunately, Google play services has stopped
then I tried factory reset but not improvement. during the signin page in the beginning it said Google account manager stopped working, then again process system isn't responding. I tried factory imaging from 4.4.4 kitkat to 5 lollipop. No improvement.
I believe there are some corrupted files that might have updated automatically. i dont want to pay $200 and wait for 3 weeks to get it fixed
I just purchased the new Torch 9850 from Verizon. I keep getting this error message" Uncaught exception:Application net_rim_bb_Phone app(393) not responding; process terminated". Every time before I receive this message , my phone begins to ring as if someone is calling me. Also the number between the ( ) keeps changing.

This morning, it fell out and I assumed the usual had happened. However, I went to type on the open message and the screen wasn't responding on parts of the keyboard. So, I thought maybe it was just a small issue; I turned my phone off then back on. When it turned back on I couldn't even unlock it because the screen wasn't responding and the first number of my passcode was in an unresponsive spot. An elder friend of mine told me all I needed was to replace the screen and that he could do it, if I bought the screen. My question is, would it be cheaper to buy the screen and have my friend do it, or would Apple give me a better deal?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the Moto X 2nd gen, and I have been having several issues with the phone, mainly I repeatedly have a "Google Apps" popup saying that is not responding and asking me to report the issue. I get these error maybe 3-4 times a day and restart my phone when the issues doesn't die down.
Also, my phone stops responding at certain times and it just stutters along.
Is this my phone or should I do a factory reset? Also, will the 5.1 update fix any if these issues, I hoping not to have to restore to factory default.
My N85. 2 weeks back, it got stuck and after switch off and switch on, it's not responding as soon as press keypad. atleast taking 1-2 mins and some time doesn't accept anything. after 2-3 restarts, it was ok. but from 3 days onwards, it's complytly addicted to this behaviour. once if it switch on, it's working fine. but once it get stcuk again or switched off, it's same old thing. i removed memory card, flashed freshly with new firmware and several hard/soft formats. nothing is preventing this behaviour.

I solve the problem only when I remove the battery. It has happened several times during last month. This week I have taken It to GSM service and they have put a new software , but that doesn't change anything. Do you have any idea if it has any hardware problem?

My iPhone 4 is magically stuck and frozen at the lock screen and nothing is responding. All I see is the lock screen. When I plug it into iTunes, nothing responds either and it does not sync. Also, I cannot do the "hold power and home button" thing because my power button is stuck and does not press in. What can I do?

I had earlier configured a wi-fi access point on my E72 and everything was running perfect. One day the Destinations started showing me only the GPRS access point even when I had the wi-fi on First Priority and the wifi was running correctly.
Now I deleted the access point from the list and tried to reconfigure it. Whenever I select new access point and enter the wi-fi pass-code (WPA2), nothing happens on the screen. At the same time, when I click on the options button or the back button, nothing works. The settings window is just stuck there And I am just unable to configure wi-fi. Any ideas?
I am having a problem with maps going crazy and acting like 'dead drunk'. Changing routes while driving, wiggling map-screen, and ordering me to drive in circles with U turn commands getting me no-where.It worked very well and suddenly the whole of maps goes nuts. What could be the problem?
