My iPhone 4 is magically stuck and frozen at the lock screen and nothing is responding. All I see is the lock screen. When I plug it into iTunes, nothing responds either and it does not sync. Also, I cannot do the "hold power and home button" thing because my power button is stuck and does not press in. What can I do?
My touchscreen was working normally; but after i got a screen protection cover i applied some pressure on the screen in order to push the air bubbles. This resulted in a dead strip on the top line of the screen that is not responding well now.
for example,Genera-Settings-Network-Enable 3G : i can't swipe it from on to off .
same with wifi : i can't change it on or off.
another example is in Safari : on the google bar when i type something & then tap & hold, i see the 3 options " Select,Select all,Paste" ...i can't press any of these 3 options.
It's basically a paperweight. I fell asleep one night and it was working fine and the next morning it wouldn't even turn on! The screen is off and I can't seem to turn it on. Also, when I plug it into a computer the computer doesn't even realize anything has been connected.
My 3 is not seen on iTunes when I connect it. It is also showing low battery but is not even charging and continously showing the Apple logo... What should I do? Thanks in advance, Jahnavi...
My Iphone 3GS touchscreen has been off and on working for about a week. Now it completely will not respond. I have reset the settings, restored factory settings, turned off wifi, powered it off, let the battery did, switch the vibrate switch on and off, but nothing has worked. I really need my phone to work.
Software up to date. I am finding that my touchscreen often is not responding, particularly on certain letters when texting such as "a" & "w"...but it will also not respond when I touch the text icon to begin texting. It's driving me nuts.
My iPhone is not responding it won't turn on when plugged in to my pc the only time the logo turns on is when the USB is plugged in to the wall charger
I was updating my iphone to 5.1.1 and an image of usb cable and itunes logo came up on the screen. IPhone isn't responding. I plugged it into I tunes and the computer won't pick it up. I tried to restart the computer with the iphone plugged in, and that didn't work. Am I going to have to request a swap out with apple?
i recieved a text today and when i went to slide to unlock my phone my screen didn't respond. i tried to take a picture and my screen still doesnt respond. so i slide up and it works but it doesn't respond when i try to click on camera, calculator, flashlight, etc...then i pull down and it works but wont allow me to press on anything.
My iphone 4 is not responding to touch and my power button is broken also. All i want to do is get all my stuf off it to transfer to my new iphone and wipe it clean. How i can do this?? ive tried itunes but its saying iphone not responding????
My iphone 5s' touchscreen has not been responding as of late. it glitches very badly, randomly opens apps and does not respond to my touch. Sometimes it even completely freezes up. I do not know what to do. It just goes in and out of apps crazily without me doing anything to it. Its as if it is being controlled remotely from somewhere else.Â
I have tried to restart the phone to fix the issue but that hasn't worked. I also reset the phone to factor settings and set it up as a new device but to no avail. this is really inconvenient as I need my phone to function properly for day to day use.
I recently added a few new cydia programs including infiniboard and infinidock. Now the bottom half of my keyboard totally stops working, but the problem can be fixed by respringing or restarting the device. I restored the device to its original settings and I have not been able to recreate the problem, so I assume it lies with something I recently installed. Does anybody know what program might be causing this?Ok, so on my totally clean device where I have only jailbroken and installed infiniboard and infinidock, I now see the following when I go to the search page on the springboard. This is definitely messing with the keyboard some way:
This morning my iPhone 4 became a little sluggish in unlocking, opening apps, and sliding from one screen to the next. After a couple of hours it seemed to slow down altogether with a lot of delay as I tried to operate various functions. I did notice that it seemed to open the calendar and the invitations menu on its own. Now, at the end of the day, I can't unlock it at all, nor can I operate the slider to power off. It is simply not responding to anything except the home button to switch on the screen and the sleep button to put the screen to sleep. I installed IOS 5.1 a couple of days ago.
My home button on my iphone 4 is not respondng. I already did a system restore and still no luck. I am still under the applecare warranty but I'd like to save myself the trip is there is a quick
I found my iphone unresponsive this morning. i am unable to switch on neither is it responding to charging. the screen is blank. i keep this phone with care and i have had no incidence of fall ever since i had it. its an iphone 4.
My iphone screen is black and will not turn on, so I hooked it up to my imac and my itunes will not recognize that my phone is even hooked up to the computer. all of my pictures imported through iphoto, but itunes is doing nothing. I have updated itunes and restarted my computer and still nothing. My phone will not even recieve calls.
I just got an iPhone and am trying to set up my Yahoo email account. I've tried multiple times and failed. The error message I'm receiving is "The IMAP server '[url].." is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "Incoming Mail Server Field".
I didn't have to enter any info for the incoming mail server (nor is there an option for it). Also, my phone's WiFi is working so I'm not sure what the problem is.
