I am new to G4, during a call how do I get rid of the green small phone "tab" / "bar" when I am on other App ? It remains in the middle of the screen when using other apps so its quit annoying. I know I am on a call so I don't need that ugly bar to remind me. I am used to Sony and it didn't have this.

Why is everybody talking so highly about iphone 4S when basic business functionality is missing?This is ridiculous! Unfortunately, I took the bait only to find that some things that I took for granted on my Blackberry 9700 are missing and I'm helpless now No Call History prior to yesterday (God knows how many entries and why the limitation when the iphone 4S is supposedly superior and has higher memory?)No means to save the contact info of the person while on the call with them on handsfree, why???Does not display Company Name when I receive an incoming calll from say, John Smith, which one??? John Smith working for Company A or B???NO Call Notes feature? Why?

Any setting that I can change, or is it a software update issue?

Now, I receive the full screen photo on one of my contacts, but everyone else has changed to a small banner at the top of the screen, with a very small photo in the top right corner. I can't figure out why this happened, or how to change it back.

I have only had the Turbo a few weeks. I have turned on a call answer vibration somehow. My wife's doesn't do it. I cant figure out what I turned on. Need turning the vibrate pulse off. Its when swiping to answer incoming calls only. I have vibrate turned off under settings.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust got a new iPhone 4 the other day. I was charging the phone and it fell, only a couple feet at most. There is a small crack in the back of the phone now, and it won't turn on anymore. My friend has a iPhone 4 as well and we swapped out the battery and the back housing (just to make sure that the crack didnt short anything out) but the symptoms persist.
I have it plugged into the wall charger now, tried doing a hard reset (holding home and power for some time) but nothing. This is very frustrating to think that the iPhone 4 is this fragile. Does anyone have any suggestions that I could try to get this device back up and running? Any help at all would be very appreciated.
I have 16 GBs of videos ( so many small video files). How can I download it to my laptop. I have Nexus 5 and there is no SD card.

For last few days I am having a problem with K790i. When I turn on my phone it shows a small box showing 'Please wait' after the Sony Ericsson logo disappears. Then after waiting for about 10 minutes another small box appears with same 'Please wait ' error. I tried the FW update by SEUS, but it's taking just 30 seconds to install, which I think is weird and might be it's not even updating. So is there any way to Master Reset the phone without being on? By the Keys or something?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs a fairly new X2 owner (I just switched from an X1 a few weeks ago), one thing that really bugs me is that when I'm on a call that I originate, the phone does not remain on the "call in progress" screen. Instead it goes back to the home screen and if I want to access any "call in progress" options, I have to pull down the notification shade.
Is there any way to change this? Do I have any options?

When I'm on the phone with someone I like to send emails and texts to others and being able to get to the call log or favorites list is the quick way to get access to the people I talk to the most. As of now I have to go to the contacts list which takes longer and inconvient. Also if someone calls while I'm on the phone if I don't check the caller ID right then to see who is calling I will miss the person and I won't know who called until I get off the phone.

So just got my 6p yesterday but it seems as though ambient display although turned on is not working ND when I answer a phone call my screen stays black during the call and won't wake up.
So apparently it's because the tempered glass screen protector is covering the proximity sensor. I still have to actually test that theory out once I get a new protector but from doing some digging that most def it. Just a heads up I used the one by super shieldz so don't buy that one until they make a cut out for the sensor.
Is it possible to record a phone call while your on it? Just curious. I have to make a phone call and I want to ensure I get all the notes while on the call.
