Galaxy S6 :: Dialpad Not Working During Phone Call?
Jun 1, 2015I'm having a problem with my galaxy s6, the Dialpad isn't working during a phone call.
For example, when calling my local poker room it says "press 2 to connect to the lobby" when I press 2 nothing happens, I've tried multiple and even 800 numbers and no luck
Recently wiped cache partition, hard reset nothing it working.

I used to be an HTC user and we have a way to customise the search results to a specific account in the dialpad. I was wondering if i can restrict the dialpad search to only show contacts from a specific account.

also I got yesterday a c5 ultra at half price of z5 but surprisingly I realized c5 is much more stable smooth than z5.. Z5 is much more laggy in menus contacts apps etc than c5 which is faster and more lag-free.....What is the reason of this? Why laggy phone two times expensive? Should we wait for an update or android 6 marshmallow to get a ultra fast z5? The most important thing for me is fast transition between screens, I dont care high graphic games, 8K video record, 85mp camera etc but as I said performance of z5 not so well currently.. Why a highend phone cant handle even menu transitions..

Dec 17, 2015I can send a picture to another phone, and that picture looks great. But when I receive a picture message, it is scaled down. It almost looks like the size of a thumbnail when I receive it so I have to zoom in on every picture to see it.
I've checked APN MMS settings, I've factory reset the phone and no success.

Jan 11, 2014I have noticed that my lumia 1520 screen colors distort when making pressure on the screen even very small pressure, the touches pressure that cause this will be smaller if you also place your fingers at the back of the phone while pressing the opposite side on the screen... the problem exist everywhere on the screen but its largely affect the area near below the camera...
I know all LCD panels have this behavior, but I also know that this is why there is a glass in front of it which should manage to to make the pressure that causes this much much harder... I tried the lumia 920 and 720 (both have LCD panels) its very very very hard to make this color distortion and you need to make very very large pressure... This is not acceptable at all.

It remains in the middle of the screen when using other apps so its quit annoying. I know I am on a call so I don't need that ugly bar to remind me. I am used to Sony and it didn't have this.

Edit: Sorry I misspoke, it's for typing in the recipient's number. It's quicker for me to dial on a keypad than it is to dial the numbers on the keyboard.

Jul 14, 2010Just got a new iPhone 4 the other day. I was charging the phone and it fell, only a couple feet at most. There is a small crack in the back of the phone now, and it won't turn on anymore. My friend has a iPhone 4 as well and we swapped out the battery and the back housing (just to make sure that the crack didnt short anything out) but the symptoms persist.
I have it plugged into the wall charger now, tried doing a hard reset (holding home and power for some time) but nothing. This is very frustrating to think that the iPhone 4 is this fragile. Does anyone have any suggestions that I could try to get this device back up and running? Any help at all would be very appreciated.

For a month or so now, it is difficult to start the main screen with the double tap so could be an issue with touch screen, although once turned on with power button, using touch screen is fine. It's just that initial double tap to turn screen on that is tough sometimes.
When I get screen on, can use speaker or not, and i can use dialpad to dial, say for instance to get to voicemail. However, once dialed, the screen goes blank and I'm not able to turn it on by double tapping, by using power button, etc. The only way to get back to using my phone is when the other side has hung up. Then I can start using power button again.
I don't hold phone near proximity sensor, I don't think it's dirty, I don't use a case. I will put the phone down on the table flat and it will stay on. I then move my hand over it starting at bottom and when it gets a little ways from the top, it goes blank. When I remove my hand, with nothing in the way, it stays that way and I can't do anything.
I'd like not to try the next step which is factory reset and backup, as I have not done that before and really don't want to reinstall everything.

Aug 2, 2010I need an alternative to iSmartDialer. Purchased this software for my 3GS same time ago and ended up having to purchase a second copy so it would work on my fiancées phone too. At one point I restored and couldn't find the code and iSmartDialer customer service gave me hell retrieving my key. Now we both have iPhone 4's and the application is telling me 1 code to 1 device without a transfer option. Going to their website, it actually says NO transfers. Kind of funny considering back when we purchased it didn't say anything about no transfers nor did rockyourphone.com.
So at this point, I am not paying another cent to this dirty company and advise others not to either unless you like to buy the application everytime you get a new device. With that said, I am looking for a simple dialing application that will allow me to save contacts to the number pad. So, when you hold #1 for example it calls whoever you have assigned to that key. Anyone know of an application like that?

Windows phone software on my PC is sub standard in comparison with Nokia Suite. It is clunky, contacts cannot be backed up, photos have no picture reference when transferred and the overall Windows Phone software on my PC is second rate in contrast to the Windows Phone 8 phone experience. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can easily copy my contacts to PC. No problem getting contacts into the phone. Just unclear on how to get a copy of them out.

Oct 15, 2013I recently bought a Nokia 1020 and i suspect that there are something wrong with the camera. The quality of the photos that i take are, in my opinion, nowhere near the ones you can se in reviews and those released by Nokia.
To me it looks like it's only the middle part of every photo that is correctly focused. The edges are very blurry. I have no case on the phone, no dirt on the lens and i have tried to reset the camera and reboot, no difference.
I will attach some photos on which I think you can see it clearly. The images are very sharp in the middle but when you move towards the edges it quickly becomes blurry. Both pictures are taken in daylight with Nokia Pro Cam, all settings on auto.

Jan 21, 2014New to the Windows mobile phone... I use my Windows phone for business and do a lot of conference calls. With my iPhone I used to be able to put the phone number with three commas and then the passcode to the conference call in the meeting request (format = 555-555-5555,,,12121212#). By using this format my customers could just click the link in their iPhone and it would auto-dial the conference number along with the passcode so that they did not have to remember the passcode while driving.
Example: 555-555-5555,,,12121212#. (autohyperlink for iOS)
VS
555-555-5555 Passcode 12121212 then press # (caller can hyperlink the phone number but has to remember the passcode and dial it while driving...)
By using this format you could just click the number and it would dial the number pause then auto add the passcode and # to enter the conference call. I think Blackberry used to use a similar format to achieve the same thing.

Aug 8, 2014Yesterday, I went running with my Lumia 1020 listening to music and using the Runtastic app. The music stopped - I looked at the phone - it was turned off. I tried powering on, but to no avail. I should also mention that upon leaving, the battery was fully charged and this happened after some 20 minutes. When I came home, I immediately put the phone on the wall charger and expected it to power on after a while. I checked it after 3 hours and nothing, the phone was still stone-dead and what was even more worrying, completely cold - no heat-up from charging.
I tried connecting it to my PC - the computer didn't even recognize ANY device was connected to it. Just to be sure, I tried Nokia Software Recovery Tool, but sure enough, it was not able to detect the phone. The phone seems to be dead meat now, but when I put it on my desk wireless charging stand, the stand's indicator lights up, although the phone does nothing and stays that way.

I've just come to install the UK maps on my device and it's only 160mb. Is this right, since last time I installed the UK maps it was well over 1GB. So what's going on here?
