I can send a picture to another phone, and that picture looks great. But when I receive a picture message, it is scaled down. It almost looks like the size of a thumbnail when I receive it so I have to zoom in on every picture to see it.
I've checked APN MMS settings, I've factory reset the phone and no success.
I got my MMS setting from my current network but the problem is, whenever I receive MMS pictures, I will receive it in small size, too small I guess, about 3kb. I even try to send MMS to my number but still it will appear in a small size.

I picked mine up on Friday and noticed when I sent a picture to my friends through mms that it was only sending 32 kb size pictures. The actual photos are .91 mb's. My question is short of emailing the picture is there anyway to send the photo in full resolution over mms? The stock messaging allows for up to 2mb so why does it compress it so much. I have switched to sending pictures with handcent, but that is not a real practical solution.

My S3 had a button for Macro Photography. I don't see this option and when I tap to focus, it tries but it acts like it's too close and fails. It looks like it will focus on the close object for like a second, then it zooms back out.I have tried to turn off auto focus and stabilization but the result is same.

For some strange reason when I put my memory card into a new E72 when viewing pictures previously saved on to the memory card the images are showing incredibly blurry and sizes range between 1kb and 3kb, the pictures look fine as a thumbnail, and its as if the picture is saved as the thumbnail.
However when viewing through file manager or trough my laptop the images are perfectly sized memory and when opened they aren't blurry at all they are back to normal.
I have already attempted removing images from memory card, putting them back on, moving to phone memory and trying to view them there, but it's the same.
The phone app dial pad is small. Is there a way to make the number buttons bigger?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the 8350i on the boost network. every now and then the text messages get jammed up but usualyy my text all come in i can send out a picture message and i have sent myself a pic message but when i have asked some1 to send me a pic most of the time it gives me could not retrieve mesage content. and i try to hit retrieve content and still nothing no picture comes up.how can i fix this i have called boost a bunch of times and they refresh the shystem and ill send myself a pic to see if it works and it will but sometime wont get pix from other ppl..

When I receive pictures via text message, i get 2 options, one to open with gallery, or with google photos.... when i open with gallery, the pictures a tiny as hell, and i cant zoom in on them and when i open with google photos they are blurry.
I got it to work once before but i sure don't remember how. I open the pictures with the stock messaging app, handcent, and 8sms and its all the same....
When u send a long text message to someone or picture the other person is not receiving the text?

Always the pictures download upside down whenever it's emailed. In my camera roll they are straight or right side up and also it's right side up in another iOS device but when I download it from my pc it's always sideways or upside down.

I was in a group chat with two other people and they were having the same problem. I've tried resetting my network settings then I reset all settings and it didn't work. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that my lumia 1520 screen colors distort when making pressure on the screen even very small pressure, the touches pressure that cause this will be smaller if you also place your fingers at the back of the phone while pressing the opposite side on the screen... the problem exist everywhere on the screen but its largely affect the area near below the camera...
I know all LCD panels have this behavior, but I also know that this is why there is a glass in front of it which should manage to to make the pressure that causes this much much harder... I tried the lumia 920 and 720 (both have LCD panels) its very very very hard to make this color distortion and you need to make very very large pressure... This is not acceptable at all.
I constantly see the same few pictures in the Pictures live tiles. Is this normal? It would be much nicer if everytime a different picture is shown.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a really weird and annoying problem with my Lumia 800.Pretty much it starts with this:The phone totally random powers off, it wont start until i put the charger in (even if the battery really is at 40% or more).After that whenever I receive a text message (sms and mms) it won't be listed in the messaging conversation. I only see the last sms I sent/got after the phone powered off, new messages is listed in the notification window, but only there. Sending new messages works, but they won't either be listed..So I can't really read my new texts other than in the notification window that pops up when I get a new one.Deleting all my messages doesn't solve it, restarting the phone doesn't either.

It installed 2 updates and now I have OS version 7.10.8773.98.
However there was no update available for the firmware. I still have 1600.2487.8107.12070.
Does the firmware update come later? Model number is: 059J3G0
Lumia 920 is one week old, great phone. But don't see how to save a video received in a text message to the phone and eventually to skydrive. User manual downloaded from Nokia (107 pages!) says an attachment to a text message can be saved by touching "..." and then 'save to phone' but "..." and no other options appear when tapping the video or the enclosing text message. That user interface does work for photo images received in a text message but not for videos.
