I feel this was a hoax. I purchased the phone under the impression I would received 100 rebate/store credit and received nothing. Did anyone get there $100 rebate/credit from nokia or ATT?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a really weird and annoying problem with my Lumia 800.Pretty much it starts with this:The phone totally random powers off, it wont start until i put the charger in (even if the battery really is at 40% or more).After that whenever I receive a text message (sms and mms) it won't be listed in the messaging conversation. I only see the last sms I sent/got after the phone powered off, new messages is listed in the notification window, but only there. Sending new messages works, but they won't either be listed..So I can't really read my new texts other than in the notification window that pops up when I get a new one.Deleting all my messages doesn't solve it, restarting the phone doesn't either.

Not the end of the world I know but can be handy to have the time.Is this something that is possible or do I just have to live with it?

It installed 2 updates and now I have OS version 7.10.8773.98.
However there was no update available for the firmware. I still have 1600.2487.8107.12070.
Does the firmware update come later? Model number is: 059J3G0
Lumia 920 is one week old, great phone. But don't see how to save a video received in a text message to the phone and eventually to skydrive. User manual downloaded from Nokia (107 pages!) says an attachment to a text message can be saved by touching "..." and then 'save to phone' but "..." and no other options appear when tapping the video or the enclosing text message. That user interface does work for photo images received in a text message but not for videos.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI can send a picture to another phone, and that picture looks great. But when I receive a picture message, it is scaled down. It almost looks like the size of a thumbnail when I receive it so I have to zoom in on every picture to see it.
I've checked APN MMS settings, I've factory reset the phone and no success.
I have the new 950 and I can not get notifications to work when new emails arrive..on any of my email accounts. The phone does not give me an audible or vibrate alert.

The has also happened to my hubby's account so that's at least £30 missing.So when I try to contact Ovi Store about this, well I've more chance of going to moon! View 15 Replies View RelatedI've had a few problems with my Nokia E51. I got the phone from my uncle who didn't like it after initially buying it. He bought it for O2 but I'm with Vodafone.
Anyways I got the phone unlocked and put my vodafone sim in and it worked fine. I changed the settings around on wap as well so it goes to vodafones homepage instead of o2's and it was working grand.
Then problems started with it. Firstly, I received a text one day and when i went to open it the phone just froze. It wouldnt let me look at the text and every button i pressed didnt do anything. The screen just stayed the same.
I tried turning off and on and taking battery out but everytime i turned it back on the text would appear 'one new text message' and the phone would still be frozen.
After a few months I tried the phone again and it was working fine. I had it for about a week again but then another problem surfaced. I looked at the phone randomly and the screen was flicking between differents screens. It was as if i was pressing loads of buttons but i wasnt pressing any! It was just flicking between screens really fast. I turned it off and back on, then battery out but kept doing the same when i turned it back on.
I left it for a month again and last night I tried turning it on and its working fine again. I know its gonna start up again though so I wondered if there's something I can do while it's working to stop it from breaking again. Is there a virus in the phone or something or is it just a bad batch?
I recently purchased an E72 and am surprised at how the device will not allow me to select text from an email I received so I can copy and paste a small snippet of text from that email to forward along to someone. It's like the original received email is locked and the only dynamic portion of that email is any URL link.
BEING ALLOWED TO HIGHLIGHT (SELECT) AND COPY TEXT IN A RECEIVED EMAIL IS SO BASIC I CAN'T BELIEVE THE E72 WON'T ALLOW ME TO EXECUTE THIS FUNCTION.This issue is actually a deal breaker for me and I'm considering returning the device.
I'm a new user to nokia E72, though i have been using nokia phones for about 5 years now. when i receive a text message while my e72 was switched off, it doesn't show the exact time the sender sent the message. instead it shows the time the text message receieved to my phone when i switch on my device. as an example i swtiched off my phone at 10pm night and my friend sent me a message at 11 pm.. and then i switch on the phone again at 12 midnight and i recieve his message at 12.01am and in it time stamp it shows the message receieved at 12.01am instead the correct time when my friend sent me the message at 11pm i have checked this with other nokia phones example 6630 and so on. in them it shows the exact time the sender sent the message what's wrong in my nokia E72? how can i correct it?
