HTC :: Unlocked Magic On Koodo
Jun 29, 2010I've got a question about my htc magic. It is a rogers branded one, and I'm wanting to unlock it, and possibly use it with a Koodo Mobile SIM card. Two questions. First, where is a good place to look for getting my HTC Magic unlocked. I have no idea about online businesses or anything haha. And secondly, would my magic even work on the Koodo Network. I know i have to have the same bands or something, but i'm a little challenged when it comes to all of this.

Mar 13, 2011I own the Koodo Blackberry Curve - 8530, and I'm with Koodo. I have the Blackberry Social plan, which gives me bbm, Facebook, Msn, and stuff like that, all except browser and email.
My friend is with Roger and he managed to setup his email via a wifi network, and I was wondering if this was possible for me too.
He told me to turn off my network, and have it so I'm only connected via Wifi, and then setup my email, but everytime I try, it tells me I have no network, and says I need to connect first. But since my network doesn't have an email data plan, it doesn't work.
BB Curve 8500 :: Koodo 8530 No App World Or Email?
Jun 29, 2010So, I've bought a brand new Curve 8530 from Koodo Mobile, it's running OS v5.0.0.654, and I can't seem to be able to attach my blackberry to any email address at all. I've tried a number of addresses and providers, short reboots [alt+rshift+del], battery pulls, updates, and shouting, but none of them seem to make my phone want to allow me to use email.
In addition to this, I can't seem to get access to the blackberry App World at all either. I've tried the same methods as above, in addition to uninstalling, and then reinstalling App world using the desktop software for windows. Am I missing something, or has Koodo locked out my main reason for purchasing this wonderful device?
If you've got any ideas on how to solve either of these issues, please, let me know, as I've racked my brain, and these forums, and I don't seem to be making any progress.Curve 8530 OS v5.0.0.654 on Koodo Mobile

Jan 11, 2010I was wondering if there is a newer version of software for the banter bc i looked at a friends banter and has a different version of sms. Which lets him have over 200 texts in his inbox. i was wondering if anyone knows where to get this firmware somehow. it would be really great!

Jan 15, 2010Okay i have a Lg Banter...of course. well my phone can only hold 100 text in the inbox and 50 in the outbox. i have two friends that have the same exact phone and provider as me and they can get over 200 text in inbox and 100 in outbox. on the specs of the phone it says it can get 300. i know that you can never get true limit but i want to know if there is anyway of increasing it by a hack. i already can hack into the filesystem. If anyone wants to know how to get into filesystem of a banter with bitpim just ask and ill gladly tell you. (quite simple of a fix lol)

May 29, 2010Is it is possible to use my old Alltel LG AX265 (Banter) phone on the Verizon network by doing some software hocus pocus. I'm not very cell phone savvy, but I can follow simple directions as well as any 11 year-old.The Justin Timberlake look-alike at the Verizon store said I'd need to get a new phone from Verizon, and proceeded to push the Motorola Droid into my face. I'm sure it's a great phone, but I just want my almost-teenager to be reachable. I'm pretty sure he's gonna lose the phone within the year, so I'm not inclined to spend much money.

IPhone :: Why Does My 4s Say Network Not Available
May 16, 2012When I go to settings > general > about and look at the network, it says not available. Also, in the top left corner where it should say Verizon, nothing is there. Everything still works and I get service, but it's just annoying. I took it to the Verizon store and they couldn't help me and my complementary phone support with Apple ran out. I tried to restore it, both to factory settings and to a previous backup but neither of them worked. I also have reset the network settings 2 or 3 times and that hasn't fixed it either.
B.T.W. this happened right after I upgraded to ios 5.1.1.

May 3, 2011I live in New Zealand and just bought an Xperia X10i from the Vodafone shop. I now want to use it on a different network but can't seem to. I've tried putting the other networks simcard in but theres no connection. I know for a fact that Vodafone dont lock there phones therefor it has to be a manufacturers problem.
