I crushed my iPhone and went to download all my info to the new iPhone I could not acess the cloud because it has a old hotmail account and password assigned to it. I still use the hotmail account but the password has been changed and I cannot remember what it.was that long ago. Last November I changed my Apple ID email from hotmail to Gmail..however never changed the iCloud info..it will not let me change it now or acess the cloud ... How is this done ?

When I first set up my iCloud acct. on my iPhone 5s (7.1.1), I had a different email address than I do now. In trying to log in, it asks me for a long-forgotten password to this old email.
How can I resolve this???? I can't even delete the account because it requires that same old password first before I can turn off "Find My Phone."

I just replaced my Blackberry Torch 9800 with an identical device. There is a User name and Password needed to access e-mail settings.
My device prev iously remembered the User Name and Password (e.g., when I had to synchronize my e-mail whenever the password for the e-mail account changed) but now that the device has been replaced, it is now asking for this information which I have misplaced. Is there an easy way to re-set this password?
I do not remember the User name either (it says the password can be sent to the device if the correct User name is provided). Unfortunately right now I cannot access any e-mail on the device.

Once if the handset was already unlocked and twice if it is locked. It is not the Desktop manager that is the issue but the Blackberry device manager.Is there a way to stop the device manager requesting the password as it is annoying. I do not have a memory card in my handset so not quite sure why it is prompting.Also does anyone know where I can find more info on the Device manager whether it needs to be installed for BB desktop manager to function properly etc.

Ok so if your phone reboots or crashes, you will need to enter a password or pattern in order for the phone to work. Even alarms and everything won't work until you enter the password. That's pretty bad especially if you NEED an alarm
Some people mentioned turning it on and off and it would give you a prompt to disable it.

I have used Blackberry for about 5 years now and upgraged 3-4 times. Each time my Blackberry email has transferred across into the automatice email set up. I upgraded last week again to the new Bold 9900 and this time the email has not come across. View 9 Replies View RelatedReceived a meesage from Blackberry saying my gmail could no longer be delivered. I was instructed to enter setup and re-enter my password.
But clicking on mail within setup brings no setup options ...unlike the other like Blackberry Messenger or instant messaging. Once I have clicked on mail settings I find that I cannot exit setup at all (no problem if I select anything other than mail) and must turn off the deivice to restore capability.
This has probably occurred after an OS upgrade ? ..running 6.0 bundle 2534.. though until the Blackberry message I hadn't noticed a problem.

i have been unable to access my email setup. I click on the icon and most times nothing happens, other times it goes to the next screen but that's it. I also can't access my personal email on the phone. Both my bb email acct and personal are there but only the bb email works. However, whenever I try to access the "internet email account" option from the email accounts setup page, I automatically get transferred back to the setup page.
