I deleted my itunes on my old computer, thinking that if I signed in to itunes on a new computer, it had all my info, apps and music. At any rate, now I have downloaded itunes on my new computer and when I go to sync my iphone, it says that its going to erase everything on my iphone. I have read some forums, but I am still unsure what to do.
View 1 RepliesSo I went to transfer purchases from my iPhone today, and something weird came up.Screen shot 2010-08-03 at 8.42.21 PM.png..iTunes is automatically putting in this guy's email address into the Apple ID field.I don't know who this guy is, but I'm sure he's not happy about his email just floating around in random people's iTunes accounts.So why would this be happening?My whole library is empty at the moment since I'm waiting on the optibay converter to deliver.My iPhone has never been with anyone else.I don't have anybody in my phone as the email address.My address book on OSX is empty as well except with my contact, and it has my email address in it.I did jailbreak my iPhone yesterday if that has anything to do with it.

I have looked around online a bunch, even went to the apple store for answers on this, and still nothing.I had a MBP, its dead, i got a new one, its awesome. but now i want to sync my iphone with this new computer, I plug the phone in, it all works and everything, but if i click "sync" on any of the check boxes in say, music. apps. rungtones. etc it says it will delete the data on my phone and replace it with the data on that itunes.
Is there a way for me to jsut transfer all my **** off the iphone so it syncs with that? this is getting really annoying.The guy in the genius bar told me to backup my phone, then restore it using itunes and that iTunes would then allow me ot sync everyhting without first deleting all the information, tried that, and it didnt work, itunes just said the same message about deleteing all my applications and data and blah blah blah.no i dont have the library from the old computer to use as a reference to copy files from.

Anyway, I have a one hr video clip which i need to transfer from iphone5 to my regular non apple computer.
Tried the following:
1) I tried to plug in and transfer directly but ironically, i cannot find that clip looking at the explorer folders.
2) I also noted i can't transfer large files even if i used that auto play to transfer pics.3) I tried itunes but looking at the sync function, it keeps asking me to sync pics from my computer (but i don't wanna sync pics from my computer. I wanna sync pics from my iphone TO my computer)...

I recently switched from an iPod 5th generation to an iPhone 5s. When I went through the process to transfer apps to my new iPhone via iTunes, there were a few apps that I couldn’t sync from my iPod to iTunes. Consequently, those apps did not transfer to my new iPhone. Almost all of my apps synced, except for a few. I clicked on the button to transfer purchases, but apparently that didn’t transfer all of my apps for some reason. Why I couldn’t get a few apps to sync into iTunes?

I have the 'raw' .jpg.rem files from my old phones mSD card on my computer I have access to the old 2gb mSD card but the images were deleted. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an IPhone and a few months ago, I bought my son an IPod Touch.I thought it would be easier to register his Touch under my account and share some of the apps, but now it is becomig an issue.I get all the texts and facetime calls that he receives, and he can see all of my calendar entries, notes, and contacts.I have set up an account for him, and I want to move the IPod Touch to that account, but I do not want to lose the apps that I bought specifically for the IPod touch, nor do we want to lose his "game data". Is there a way that I can move the touch to the new account and not lose the apps and data.I am okay with him not being able to access the apps that I bought and use on the IPhone.

I didn't see a thread that pertained to my problem, so if there is then let me apologize ahead of time for the duplication. Anyway. I have a Bold 9700 and the new version of Desktop manager. I went to transfer photo and video from by BBBold to my computer, but the media manager just throws me into my Roxio and it doesn't recognize the media card in the BB. Worse yet, the computer will show the BB as a removable disk, yet when I clicked on it to try and transfer the file the "old school" way, it then says it doesn't recognize the drive. I'm doing this through transfer cable, my laptop doesn't have bluetooth built in. The old Desktop had a nice, convenient dual window setup where you could just drag files back and forth. If anyone knows how to make the new Desktop manager do that or how I can accomplish the file transfers that apparently Desktop doesn't want me to do, please let me know.
