I have a few apps I've paid subscriptions too (ForeFlight, MobiTV, etc.) but I plan on doing a clean install of iOS 4 when I get my iPhone 4. Is there any way I can retain those subscriptions on a new install?

I have a WiFi only Xoom, purchased and being used in the UK.I am unable to purchase and install Paid Apps at all, which is something I expected as an advertised feature.The symptoms I am experiencing include:No "Best Selling Apps" displayed in the Market App.Unable to find any Paid Apps at all through searching.o "Books" tab displayed.Attempting to buy via the web version of the Market I see the message "This item cannot be installed on your device."Most Free Apps install ok.A few common Apps that I can find via search (e.g. Flash, Blogger) claim they cannot be installed "in your devices Country".I cannot find the Kindle App at all even though Amazon have confirmed it is Free and available in the UK.
If I use a VPN to connect through our USA office, I see slightly different results:I can see "Best Selling Apps" and "Books". can search for Paid Apps.If I attempt to purchase a Paid App I receive the message "The item you were attempting to purchase could not be found."I am able to search for and install Flash and Kindle without a problem, although Blogger still complains about devices CountryI have attempted a number of recommended fixes, including:Clearing the Market cache and data;Reboot;Factory Reset. do not want to root my device at this point and so would rather avoid the use of such workarounds as Market Enabler.This is very disappointing and I'm not exactly happy about this situation, even though the rest of the tablet seems to be an excellent device.
title says it all. this is for a new 3gs on 3.1.3 not JBed? is it worth it or a waist of timwe? for the spirit JB that is.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI did a clean install/set-up-as-new to iOS 4.0 GM on my 3GS last night and, upon launching Skype for the first time, got the message that they only support it on unmodified versions of 3.0, 3.1, etc. that I was used to seeing when the phone was JB'n. Did this message come up merely because I'm running OS 4.0, and Skype is planning to release an updated version to coincide with the public release of OS 4.0, or is there some truth to remnants of JB or old Skype plist files persisting through a clean restore?

It's probably nothing, but for those of you who are having really slow/spotty 3G browsing speeds even with 5 full bars of 3G, did you guys restore your iPhone 4 from a back up or did you set it up as a new iPhone? i don't know if there is any kind of relation between this and the issue, but it doesn't hurt to speculate. I myself have restored from a backup and I am experiencing this issue hardcore. The AT&T rep recommended that I restore the phone and set it up as a new iPhone. Is anyone who set up as a new phone also having this issue?

I linked my account to the iPhone 4 but I have to log into my Paypal and confirm the purchase once more? But am I able to install all of the paid apps on all our devices and is there a Limt on how many times I can re download them, and is there a Limt for the amount of devices I can put them on.I know there is something in place with computers where you can only have your account activated on up to 5 computers. But is there such thing for is iPod iPhone and iPad?Didn't really know what category to put it under so I just put it under iPad

I purchased 3gUnrestrictor and quick reply sms on my 3gs.. Now that jailbreaking is finally possible on the iphone 4.. I tried to link my google account that I paid for these apps with on the new phone and it wants me to pay for them again.I have no idea what recourse I have, I was never in love with either app but I did pay for them and I want them on my phone. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Yesterday, I got one app keep prompting for one of my email password and even though I chose to cancel it, it insisted to prompt me and locked everything else out. I ended need to do a reboot. After reboot, the app never came back which make me even more suspicious. So, is there a way I can reset the iphone 4S to original state and I can re-install any app I want and not install the ones I no longer use?

What's the steps to do so? I only have my work laptop also so can't adb anything. I recently switched from an iPod 5th generation to an iPhone 5s. When I went through the process to transfer apps to my new iPhone via iTunes, there were a few apps that I couldn’t sync from my iPod to iTunes. Consequently, those apps did not transfer to my new iPhone. Almost all of my apps synced, except for a few. I clicked on the button to transfer purchases, but apparently that didn’t transfer all of my apps for some reason. Why I couldn’t get a few apps to sync into iTunes?
