I'm currently using a 3GS and want to buy an iPhone 4 when it's released.
Thing is, I've got a shed load of apps on my 3GS, some which were expensive like Co-Pilot (Ł27), and a load of ebooks I bought through Kindle which I don't want to have to pay for again. Is there any way of transferring purchased apps from iphone to iphone without having to buy again?
i have recently broke my iPhone 3g, but have ordered a replacement, if i connect my new iPhone to itunes, will all my apps and everything be transferred to my new phone as were on my now broken one?
I recently switched from an iPod 5th generation to an iPhone 5s. When I went through the process to transfer apps to my new iPhone via iTunes, there were a few apps that I couldn’t sync from my iPod to iTunes. Consequently, those apps did not transfer to my new iPhone. Almost all of my apps synced, except for a few. I clicked on the button to transfer purchases, but apparently that didn’t transfer all of my apps for some reason. Why I couldn’t get a few apps to sync into iTunes?
I deleted my itunes on my old computer, thinking that if I signed in to itunes on a new computer, it had all my info, apps and music. At any rate, now I have downloaded itunes on my new computer and when I go to sync my iphone, it says that its going to erase everything on my iphone. I have read some forums, but I am still unsure what to do.
I will be getting the new iphone 4s and selling my current iphone. How can i transfer all my previously purchased apps into my new i-phone.All appps are currently in my itunes. If i plug in my new i-phone into the computer will i-tunes recognize it and automatically sync?
I have a few apps I've paid subscriptions too (ForeFlight, MobiTV, etc.) but I plan on doing a clean install of iOS 4 when I get my iPhone 4. Is there any way I can retain those subscriptions on a new install?
I have an IPhone and a few months ago, I bought my son an IPod Touch.I thought it would be easier to register his Touch under my account and share some of the apps, but now it is becomig an issue.I get all the texts and facetime calls that he receives, and he can see all of my calendar entries, notes, and contacts.I have set up an account for him, and I want to move the IPod Touch to that account, but I do not want to lose the apps that I bought specifically for the IPod touch, nor do we want to lose his "game data". Is there a way that I can move the touch to the new account and not lose the apps and data.I am okay with him not being able to access the apps that I bought and use on the IPhone.
My wife just got the new Bold 9900 and switched to a new carrier. When she got the phone she had to create a new BBID but now we can't find where she can transfer her purchases from a previous ID.I tried logging into her old ID online and editing the email address to the new one she just created but that doesn't work.
Just had a message on my phone saying that the phone memory was almost full, so I have been looking through the apps to see which I can get rid of etc, A lot of them won't let me transfer them to the SD card, any ideas why?
know if there is a way to transfer applications from the phone memory to SD card? I tried using the android assistant tools and used App 2 SD buth when I chose an applkication to move it a message comes up: "Sorry! the applications setting(process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force Close."
In my quest to transfer my apps from internal phone storage to my SD CCard I discovered that Motorola refers to (or is it Android) to your SD card as 'media storage'. In an attempt to use the 'Manage Apps' feature and selecting 'Media area' I see apps with check marks and those without. I thought that the ones with checkmarks are those already on the SD Card and those without are those that are not on the SD Card, but might be able to be put on the SD Card. (Another user via another question I put out there indicated that the check marks indicate whether or not an app can be stored to the SD Card . . . is that true?). At any rate I am getting the following message when I select an app and select the 'move to media storage' button.
Failure to move application. There is not enough storage left. Here is the particulars of my current state of storage -
Application Storage - 1.04 GB Internal Storage- Total Space: 4.36 GB Available Space: 4.88 GB SD Card - Total Space: 29.71 GB Available Space: 28.79 GB
*So I have plenty of SD Card space, why am I getting this error? Is the one user correct that just because I see an app in the media area tab, that doesn't mean that it can be transfered? Also, when I select an app and the button to move it to the media area is selectable (not greyed out) . . . shouldn't it be selectable without getting the failure I keep getting? Obvoiusly I have PLENTY of SD Card space, so there is something I obviously do not understand.
get a blackberry playbook to work with my torch.....the question i want to ask is, can i transfer apps from my phone to the playbook, or do i have to freshly install them to my new device..
So I went to transfer purchases from my iPhone today, and something weird came up.Screen shot 2010-08-03 at 8.42.21 PM.png..iTunes is automatically putting in this guy's email address into the Apple ID field.I don't know who this guy is, but I'm sure he's not happy about his email just floating around in random people's iTunes accounts. So why would this be happening? My whole library is empty at the moment since I'm waiting on the optibay converter to deliver. My iPhone has never been with anyone else.I don't have anybody in my phone as the email address. My address book on OSX is empty as well except with my contact, and it has my email address in it.I did jailbreak my iPhone yesterday if that has anything to do with it.
I have a MacBook Air running Lion and an iPhone 4s with latest OS. I'm planning a trip to an area where I won't have access to the interenet but should have some cell coverage (my plan is with AT&T). I'd like to use my MacBook Air to create and edit documents, send them to my iPhone and then use the iPhone to email them over the cellular network. Is there any way to do this? I know I can create my own WiFi network using the MacBook but don't know of a way to use it to transfer files to the iPhone.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1, MacBook Air running Lion
I want to transfer my video taken on my iPhone to DVD. Due to the formatting, it only works on my laptop DVD player. How do I convert my videos to play in DVD player?
I'm trying to transfer one iPhone to another. I've backed up the old iPhone, but I'm wondering about the sim card. Do I have to physically move the old sim card from the old phone to the new one? If so, how do I do this?

I have synchronised my iPhone with my iTunes library but not all of the cover art has transferred over. It is all there in the iTunes but it is not displayed on the iPhone.
