Apr 10, 2012I deleted my itunes on my old computer, thinking that if I signed in to itunes on a new computer, it had all my info, apps and music. At any rate, now I have downloaded itunes on my new computer and when I go to sync my iphone, it says that its going to erase everything on my iphone. I have read some forums, but I am still unsure what to do.

Feb 8, 2010I feel silly for asking this question but I've spent an hour now googling to death how to transfer ringtones I've puchased from iTunes onto my iPhone 3GS. I've done everything possible. I've renamed the files to M4R as suggested from m4u. I've just dragged onto the iphone in devices and not in the music library or ringtone library and nothing. Under the Ringones tab on the iphone when connected to iTunes shows no ringtones.

They show up in itunes under ringtones but don't show up on the phone even after I sync. I have everything automatically syncing. Apr 24, 2010I have looked around online a bunch, even went to the apple store for answers on this, and still nothing.I had a MBP, its dead, i got a new one, its awesome. but now i want to sync my iphone with this new computer, I plug the phone in, it all works and everything, but if i click "sync" on any of the check boxes in say, music. apps. rungtones. etc it says it will delete the data on my phone and replace it with the data on that itunes.
Is there a way for me to jsut transfer all my **** off the iphone so it syncs with that? this is getting really annoying.The guy in the genius bar told me to backup my phone, then restore it using itunes and that iTunes would then allow me ot sync everyhting without first deleting all the information, tried that, and it didnt work, itunes just said the same message about deleteing all my applications and data and blah blah blah.no i dont have the library from the old computer to use as a reference to copy files from.

Jun 26, 2014Anyway, I have a one hr video clip which i need to transfer from iphone5 to my regular non apple computer.
Tried the following:
1) I tried to plug in and transfer directly but ironically, i cannot find that clip looking at the explorer folders.
2) I also noted i can't transfer large files even if i used that auto play to transfer pics.3) I tried itunes but looking at the sync function, it keeps asking me to sync pics from my computer (but i don't wanna sync pics from my computer. I wanna sync pics from my iphone TO my computer)...

Jul 19, 2010My App library is extensive and has gone through a number of spring cleanings.. recently, with my new iPhone 4, I'm remembering apps that for whatever reason, I don't have anymore and wanting to try them out on my new, speedier iPhone 4.I can find them in iTunes, but I'm prompted to buy them again, and confirm the purchase before it says "You've already purchased this, download for free?"
Why can't I (or can I?) just view my iTunes purchase history? I've held off on re-downloading a couple apps that I suspect could actually be sequels or "pro" versions of apps that I have already bought. Is there a purchase history somewhere I can pull up that I'm missing?

We are divorced, so we don't share an account. Is there a way to do this using iCloud? Do his Mom and I need to use the same iCloud account on our computers for him? Can he have 2 iCloud accounts on his phone that have different billing, so he can get apps from both of us? Will home sharing do this? Does home sharing only work when you are on your individual home WiFi, or will it work when he is not at "home"?

Jun 24, 2012For about a month now any new purchases in iTunes on my computer will not sync to my iPhone. In the My Phone > iPhone >Apps window I move the new apps onto the iPhone screens. Then press Apply to sync. It starts to sync and then on the step (3 I think) - determined tracks to sync, the apps disappear from the iPhone window and are not added to the iPhone. I have restored, resetted, restarted, downloaded and reinstalled iTunes etc...

(alot of work related stuff from the same app developer who's icons look the same for the different apps he creates)
I know you could not find this out as of mid last year, but what about now? Is there a history anywhere that will show you what you have paid for? IMO itunes should automatically download all the apps you have purchased whenever you login if they are not there.
